Had an awesome experience at VIP Barber Shop yesterday. Bryan not only hooked me up with an amazingly clean cut, but the whole staff was welcoming. It was my first time there, but definitely not my last. They had me feeling like I had been their regular for years. Everyone was extremely friendly and talkative. You honestly get the barbershop experience that has been depicted in the movies over the years and I thought that was awesome. Highly recommend this place!

Amazing barhershop! I recently moved to Connecticut from New York and used to drive back to New York to get my haircuts until I met Vic. Hes a master barber and does one of the cleanest cuts. Everyone is super friendly in the shop and they have an appointment system, which is amazing. I would highly recommend anyone who wants a fresh fade to check out the shop. Vic is hands down one of the best barbers.

One of the best experiences I’ve had. Their new appointment app makes it super easy to schedule a haircut with no wait time. Glad they’re continuing to thrive through this pandemic- super clean,limited to those with just appointments. I drive 40 mins to get here and it’s worth it every time. What can I say the name of the barbershop says it all. You definitely get the VIP treatment the second you walk inside, you are greeted by every barber in there. The shop is very clean and the prices are more than fair, my barber Antonio is awesome hes very clean and friendly I also take my son there as they also specialize in children hair cuts as well. You wont be disappointed by this barbershop I highly recommend them.

The most down to earth and professional barbers I have ever dealt with. It was my first time stepping in to the shop and almost immediately the staff made me feel so welcome. My appointment was with Victor and he is incredibly skilled with a razor. All I had to do was show him an idea of what I wanted and he nailed it. The results speak for themselves. The haircut alone is more than enough reason to come back but the love and hospitatlity I was shown, on top of the fact that these guys take serious precautions in keeping the place clean... they have definitely earned themselves a loyal customer.

Just started going to this place a few weeks ago and I must say that they are the best barbershop around!!! They have 4 barbers and all 4 of them know what they are doing! They are very professional and very family friendly!! So much love for this place because even the owner Vic is a great owner and a down to earth great guy. If you need fades tapers beard done they do it all and trust me when I tell you dont be worried about who cuts your hair there because they all do a phenomenal job!! These guys are incredibly talented. Best barbers Ive been to in years. As someone who doesnt have a lot of time on his hands these guys sure do take an EXTREMELY LONG time. Constantly talking to eachother and checking their phones. The wait time can also be ridiculously long for absolutely no reason. Phenomenal barbers, but you better have a few hours to spare before you go or call ahead well in advance. I would love to give these guys five stars but unfortunately I cant.

Went in yesterday for a cut. told the guy exactly how I wanted the cut, short on the sides and long on top,. He proceeded to cut it way too short on the top looks like I got a buzz cut instead, smh. Just disappointed in the overall cut. The guy that cut my hair was bald, skinny and had a beard. Everyone else including the owner seem really good, I guess I got the short end of the stick with the barber I had. he was too busy talking to the other patrons at the shop and not really focusing on my hair, he probably forgot what I told him and just winged it. Did not realize how short he cut it until I got home. I dont recommend the bald guy if you are gonna go for the first time, proceed at your risk, everyone else seems good. will not be returning here

Sophisticated, classy, they had jazz playing mixed In with salsa. At a decent volume. The employees looked happy. Which you know is important. And Nikki.....OMG!!! She has my husband looking so right with his first visit.... Im sooooo getting pregnant tonight!!! Lol. And then the gentleman who cut my sons hair... your hands are a gift from God. You were so gentle with my son and you understood that he suffers from some pretty nasty migraines, and knew to be super light with your hands. All of you there are amazing people. Looking for a new barber I searched on Google and VIP barbershop came up.Yesterday 12/22/2018 I stop by for the first and last time, waiting time was not the issue since I just wait around 8 minutes, a kid with a Yankees cap call my name and start the haircut I told him what I want but right away I have the feeling that he was kind of new at this. #1 he doesnt have the confidence with the blade the shape around the haircut is uneven everywhere. #2. I ask for a line and it looks more like a zigzag plus he didnt clean it with the blade and my eyebrows are not clean.Definitely he was afraid of using the blade.Also he was constantly on his phone trying to get some cookies that his mom bake.Owner= i dont mind paying the $30 that they charged me but at least if you want to charge that amount for a haircut make sure your barbers are professional and never send a new customer to a rookie.To be honest I dont have anything good to say about the experience I get at your place.Try to avoid this to happen to others is not good for business.

This place is not as great as it used to be. My family and I used to go here for a while, but ever since Josh (a barber that used to work here) left to start his own spot in Fairfield, it has been better. The new Shop Lugos barbershop looks brand new every time, and is very clean. I highly recommend going to Joshs new shop in Fairfield, Ct. His new shop is called Lugos barbershop. His place Is also rated 5 stars.

Just have to say, these gentle men were very courteous and Kool with me, I had done a mistake of trimming up the low back near the nape of the neck area, bcz it was growing out and oops went too high so let it grow out a bit until I just couldnt no more and called up talked to Victor told him I needed a shape up that I needed to fix the back of my hair bcz I trimmed it too high and also needed to clean it up get it tappered to even it all out he turn me up to Hector he did a great job!!! They are careful attention to detail and ask you before they cut the hair so I appreciate that very much. Victor finished it up bcz I needed to trim and blend in the rest of the hair more on the top back area where I have area where it was too bulky from last person that cut it bad and he pointed it out, I also asked if he would trim close over and around the ear to give it more def he said I got you! will hook you up🙂👍 Victor is very Kind Kool and made me feel right at home, didnt charge me much either, which was great! TY so much guys, will most likely back😎..
