Super easy to schedule windshield replacement. Scheduled online, dropped off and picked up vehicles in an hour or two. Really easy to change appointment time through text. Very friendly staff inside the office. Had to wait a little while to find someone one visit. But usually very good. Great windshield wiper warranty. Will use them again.

I had to have my windshield replaced twice at the Bridgeport Safelite location. The first time there was excessive wind noise as a result of the replacement. I brought it back and they replaced the windshield. However, shortly after that the molding on the right side of the windshield fell off. I had the mobile technician come out and examine the car, and he said he would have to order the part. After a week of waiting and no one contacting me, I called the Bridgeport location. I called at 4:30 p.m. and was on hold for 35 minutes. Finally, someone picked up but it was the national call center. They then unhelpfully said that the shop closes at 5:00. I asked them to contact the location and tell them to call me. They refused, and politely suggested that I call the shop in the morning. I will be contacting my insurance agent and urging them not to recommend Safelite Bridgeport for repair or replacement services.

I had Carlos replace my windshield on my 2016 Nissan rogue. He was the most friendliest and professional person you would wanna meet. He did such a great job not only with the install but even cleaning up afterwards. I am very happy with the service and the whole process..thank you

I have to say: the service was off the charts great. I did the mobile option for my repair, and it was raining (no garage). So I followed the guy to the shop and he did the installation there. Really friendly service. Def recommend.

They do not answer the phone and the message sent me on line to set up an appointment which all went well on line until until I went to the shop. They then told me it could take 2-3 days to get insurance approval and I would have to pay for it myself. When I said I would go elsewhere they jumped to it and called the insurance company and got it all taken care of. Only turned out to be a 5 to ten minute delay but the person at the front desk almost lost me as a customer. Everything went great from there. Angel was good explaining the repair and how it works along with the warranty.

Dont fall for their chip repair service. After two years, the repair dried up and flaked off. Dont worry, you have a lifetime warranty. Right? Wrong! They wont repair their work, but they will sell you a new windshield. What a joke. I recommend that you find an independent window repair service that stands behind their work instead.

Safelite came to my house to repair my windshield and did a great job! They came on time and finished in about an hour. They were super easy to schedule and I even rescheduled them easily on their website. And they handled everything with my insurance so I didn’t have to. Highly recommended.

Mediocre experience. Im not pleased with the quality of the replacement. The rear viewer mirror in particular is sub par compared with the one that came with my car. On top of that, I had my appointment for a week and no one called until 5 minutes before they were set to arrive that if it rained there would be a problem. If someone called me earlier I would have gone with a different company or gone into the garage. After managing to get my apartment building to loan me a covered parking spot to finish it off. At the end, I noted that the trim didnt seem put back properly. The tech said it was probably from how he put the glue in and that hed done the best he could. Very disappointed. Would not recommend.ETA: They knocked 50 bucks off, but that wont fix the trim around my car.

Had to replace my windshield... Super friendly and efficient staff. They called my insurance company and opened the claim for me on my behalf, saved a lot of time and effort. I was in and out within 1 hour. Technician was extremely nice and the product and installation was perfect. No complaints

Great and reliable service. I have an older car and they had no problem getting me my windshield. They came to the house on time and cleaned the new windshield inside and out as well as cleaned up any debris too. The service tech was very polite and explained clearly what he would be doing and the after care of the windshield once he was finished. Would definetly recommend them.

Great customer service

I had to replace my windshield recently. I decided to drive to a Safelite location rather than have it done in my driveway. The location was convenient and easy to get to. I was checked in immediately and the wait was a lot shorter than I had anticipated. I thought I would wait at least one hour, but I only waited 45 minutes. While waiting, there was a good variety of snacks and drinks available. So the snacking and drinking, plus the reading materials and TV, made the wait very comfortable.

I will start with saying that the technician that came to do the work was great if I can differentiate the technician and the Bridgeport location, the technician will get 5 stars.It took them almost a month to get my windshield because was a special order from the dealer, I get it, but then they call me and told me to go to Bridgeport location so they install it, they confirmed with me via text, email and voice that they have the part after 3 weeks of waiting, I was so happy but then I showed up and they told me that they dont have the windshield yet, it will be one more week, I was so disappointed, had to take off from work, just a waste of time, really bad business.I will never use them again.

Unfortunately I am a frequent flyer here - our shop van is a frequent target for vandals. These folks are awesome! Courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable. Job done quickly and correctly. Even took my own car there when I needed a new windshield!

Insurance made me go thru them. They are completely incompetent. They kept getting the wrong glass. Made me take the car in to later say we got the wrong windshield we will do it at your house. They got the wrong glass again. By the third week they installed it but left the rubber trim that goes around glass off!?. Luckly it does not leak but they are not doing things in a professional way. When it comes to knowledge.... Lacking!!

Easy no hassle install!

I was greeted promptly and courteously by the store manager. He confirmed my appointment and information for service, and in less than five minutes, the technician accompanied me outside to inspect and verify the location of the damage. She disclosed that on the rare occasion, sometimes the heat and pressure used to fix the chip could potentially further damage the windshield and I would be given a generous credit towards a full replacement. The waiting area is well-stocked with complimentary drinks, snacks, and magazines. Within 30 minutes the repair was done professionally and without further incident. Unless you knew where the original damage was, it would be nearly impossible to find it. On top of that, the technician cleaned all the exterior glass thoroughly and vacuumed the door sills before explaining the lifetime guarantee. Overall, a very easy and pleasant experience.

After a couple misses on getting the right glass the team there did a great job. They sealed up the broken side window to keep out the cold while working on getting the right part. Dave and Jackie were super responsive and friendly. Highly recommend.

Not specific to this location, I have only had poor experiences with Safelite. I had made countless appointments to repair a windshield that was unfixed for months due to their changing and rescheduling appointments on extremely short notice, which was virtually impossible to deal with due to working full time. On top of this, when it finally was replaced the first time, it cracked a day later and they refused to replace it under their warranty stating it was due to an impact that was virtually invisible to me. Additionally, completely understand the issues that come up with needing to order directly from the dealership, but when I came to the Bridgeport store for y second experience thinking the Safelite in CT is probably different, they probably know what theyre doing I was completely wrong. Not only did I show up to my first appointment and yet again they didnt have the correct part, but they never ordered it like they said they would, and when I called to inquire about it ahead of time to make sure I wouldnt face this problem again (and that they would have the right parts available for my appointment so I wasnt wasting my time) the woman that answered was incredibly rude and even barked over me as I was calmly asking her questions. I have never written a google review for anything, but Safelite has absolutely earned this review. I have not once had anything good come from their service and have become increasingly disappointed.

On my way up to Bridgeport, Ct a rock on the opposite side of the highway cracked my windshield which costed me almost $400 for a new windshield. Who do I sue?? Lol!! Jk!! Called this location while in Bridgeport, Ct they were the only company that was open on a Sunday. Went in and spoke to a very knowledgeable woman who assisted me in scheduling an appointment in my location because my windshield was not worth repairing due to the damage and the location of the crack and o spider man how I dislike your webs. Because of the type of windshield they needed to order it. She helped me in saving $50.00 which I highly appreciate and provided me with awesome customer service. The following week a gentleman arrived on time at my home in Westerly, RI and replaced my windshield in a timely manner. Great job Safelite!! I would highly recommend Safelite Auto Glass to you-you and you!! Thank you for your professionalism and awesome customer service!!

What a disaster this has become. I brought my 02 Corvette there to have a windshield put on. The second I pulled up to my appointment the technician told me I would have to replace ALL the plastic mouldings around the windshield. NO PROBLEM, we got insurance to cover new mouldings which they claim to have installed. Now I have my car in the body shop to have some leaking weatherstripping replaced and the same mouldings that should have been changed were reinstalled on my vehicle incorrectly, cracked and broken, and I am on the hook for $600 to replace them. I call Safelite to warranty it and give me the parts they never changed and they are playing dumb. I am livid.

A safelite van just blew past my family going 70mph on a 35mph backroad in Stratford. They crossed a double yellow line and almost collided with an oncoming semi truck. For all their rush, we continued going the speed limit and ended up right behind them at a light. I’ve taken a photo of the vehicle to send to management. There is nothing safe about safelite

Sloppy shop service but they worked hard to corect their mistakes.Great customer service.They replace my windshield but left some broken glass on the dashboard and front seats. They bent and damaged the arm of my windshield wipers after wrestling the arm to change the wiper. Obviously the guy did not know how to chenge it. They vacuum the glass when I complained. The following day I told them that the windshield wiper arm was bent. They ordered a replacement from Nissan. A week later they called me to replace it.
