Used Dead river for 20 yrs. Had them install a heating system in our 4 bedroom house. Delivered enough propane into the thousands over the years.Not Now.The unprofessional response and behavior of the woman we were stuck speaking too every time we tried to set up an apointment. Was the last straw.Were reasonable people & pay off the total of service that day. Thought maybe I misconstrued conversation.Asked husband to call.A man that has 300 employees and a plant to run.An executive. He spoke with the same person. Declared its not you. There is evidently something wrong with the woman or Dead river wants to go out of business.He canceled our account. A shame were building 2 homes for our grown kids. And just lost 2 contracts.All we needed was the new stove hooked up since the old one is leaking propane. She refused to even speak to me since I was not on the account.I had to have my husband call and give them permission to speak with me. It must be 1950A different operator. Evidently she didnt type that in. So when I called I was stuck with the same rude insulting woman as before.Harrassed me. Had to call husband to re affirm permission to speak to me. Was condescending and rude. All the while were both at work trying to get customer service. Finally I hung up and said I could not deal with this woman again.Final reply was she couldnt give us a date or time of service. Only a we (Dead River) will call you20 minutes before we get to you. Its the best they can do. So we have a 4 yr old in the house all day.With a leak even a little amount of propane is dangerous. We turned it off our selves.No working stove with 3 grandkids to raise & feed since Fathers death. Thank you Dead River a great way to treat good customers for 20 or more years.

Very polite, and excellent service.

The office staff, drivers and service technicians are all very pleasant and knowledgeable. I have automatic delivery and have never run low or out. Being that we live in Maine, sometimes they even have to make 2 deliveries a month to ensure that I always have an adequate supply. I never have any worries.

My children enjoy visiting the ladies when we drop off our easy cap payments. The delivery drivers are friendly too.

Hard to get same day delivery even if you pay their fee. The phone people may or may not be nice. The delivery drivers are nice.

Reasonable price and great service techs for commercial jobs

Went above and beyond to be helpful in a pinch.

They keep raising the cost and are about .70 cents above the competition I have automatic delivery and they like to delivery before my my next bill is due or paid so it doubles every time
