I had found a piano a neighbor was listing. I know very little about pianos and what to look for. Therefore, I planned to Meet Scott Lane. Me Lane was enthusiastic and stated he would be happy to make a house call. Where he was going to evaluate the piano for me😃. I just thought I should get some guidance in what I would be in for. I already knew it looked nice . So, If it was something that was in good condition, I planned on hiring Lane Music to move and tune it for me.When looking for help, I checked out Next Door, where I found several positive reviews for The Lane Music store. I called and confirmed a meeting time with Mr Lane and the owner of the piano.I just want to say I had the best time!!! Scott Lane was the nicest! Scott was so easy to talk to, he was so professional, and informative. Then he sat down to the piano and played this beautiful piece! I was SOLD!The owner of the piano told me Lane Music was the company that moved and set this piano up for them. Scott Lane was so friendly and informative and attentive. Took the whole morning to give me tours of both his Yamaha store and his Kawaii store, let me play as many pianos as I wanted. His staff were all extremely nice, too. He gave us a good deal on the new piano we bought, and we are beyond thrilled with it! This place is the perfect combination of professional and down-to-earth: they make you feel comfortable but they do excellent work! A shout-out to his piano movers: THEY WERE AWESOME. Extremely well-mannered and meticulously careful with the instrument.

Absolutely fantastic service. Everything from teaching us about the different pianos, pricing, delivery, and set up was as easy as it could possibly have been. Highly recommend them for any purchase of a musical instrument.

I called for service on a Sunday afternoon to leave a message for the Lane Music in Germantown. Chuck the general manager texted me back and answered all my questions. He even went to the warehouse the next day or so and found me an old part that I needed for my Piano Disc player. Absolutely great service.

I stopped in Lane Music today as I’ve been wanting to check it out for a while. I was happy to find an awesome selection of guitars, as well as excellent prices. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming back soon.
