This is my second poor experience with magnolia.My first poor experience: I called to set up an appointment to have someone come advise me on running structured wiring on new construction. The day of the appointment they reschedule me several weeks out. By this time the construction crew installs all the drywall and the magnolia consultant tells me I should have ran the wiring before drywall (well no $h1t) and that it was going to be extremely expensive...Second Poor Experience: I end up pulling all the wire myself through now drywalled and insulated walls. Unfortunately I can only run a 3.1 system because of the framing of the house and without opening walls. I get the speakers ordered and was told they would be in Saturday. I call in the morning (On hold for at least an hour) to confirm the order and delivery date. They tell me “they will be here by 1:00, so I drive 45 min to pick them up and you guessed it... not in. And they have no idea when they will be in “maybe 20 min maybe 5 hours” they should have just told me Sunday! Both of these experiences have an underlying issue of not having any respect for my time or inconvenience. The people who work here are nice enough but I think they are just too large to offer good service. Beware of timelines and promises.

Seems like business is so good they dont need to try very hard. Too bad. Didnt return calls and emails.

We were pleased with the Magnolia group when we upgraded our home theatre system and our house-wide sound system. However, the service we received today was truly exceptional. Eighteen months after the system was installed, I called to schedule a service to correct problems resulting from a storm-related power outage. After describing the problem to the man who took my call, he realized that Daniel, our original salesperson, was in the store. Daniel got on the phone, and using FaceTime to see our equipment, walked me through the process of getting the system up and running again. Thanks, Magnolia Home Theatre and Daniel!

This is my now third bad experience with magnolia: they gave me instructions as to what wire to pull under the house for a subwoofer... turns out it was the WRONG cable! Now, I have to buy a different cable and pull a new wire. Maybe they should have just said “I don’t know what cable you should use”

Told me my order was in so I drove 45 min to pick it to just to be told it could be in at some point, maybe 20 min maybe 4 hours.
