Walked right in to my appointment. Did not have any wait at all. Staff there is absolutely lovely. All covid precautions were taken. Michelle Adams is a pleasure. She is very knowledgeable and easy to talk with. She carried on her exam with ease keeping me informed along the way. She answered all my questions and offered some very reasonable treatment options.

The receptionists are very kind and sweet, but the girl the one check the eyes before the doctor is very RUDE AND NASTY! no kindness!! I have 2 friends and they had the same experience also. The doctor is very very nice and very professional.

The whole staff is great friendly and efficient with keeping us all safe through the pandemic. Dr. Renta Took great care of my daughter she got poked in the eye with a tree branch. And got us in quickly with a same day appointment and put on same eye drops to help out with the irrigation. She was better in a few days.

Everyone there was extremely courteous and professional. My appointment happened on time and the transitions during my appointment were also timely. No long waits. I believe every one there went above and beyond to ensure I left there informed and with everything thing I needed. I felt very much like a patient who was cared for.

I recently went to a new first time appointment and was pretty surprised on how differently this location was from the other SightMD locations I had been to over the years. The person working the front desk was not very pleasant to speak to or deal with, from the moment I arrived and rang the bell for entry. She appeared to be bothered by not only me as a first time patient, but everyone else she encountered during my time waiting in the waiting area. Speaking of waiting, I was waiting almost 2 hours after my scheduled appointment to be seen by the doctor. I was told to wait in my vehicle due to COVID protocol and social distancing, until they were ready for me. This was totally acceptable..., but once I was called in, and had to be checked in with Ms. Attitude, I then had to wait a hour and a half in a very small sitting area with 4 other people spaced 4 to 6 feet apart which wasn’t too bad, but during a pandemic I don’t think any place should have people in a confined space for such a long period of time. The Brentwood location on Brentwood Rd is a very small office to begin with. Why would so many appointments be scheduled for the same time frames creating a 2 hour backlog? I realize the clientele is mostly Spanish speaking patrons who may require additional time for translation or have an additional person with them for the translations. But to still book as many people to just have them sit in their cars, or outside the front door I’m the cold, or crammed in a tiny office space, is beyond practical, especially during COVID. But a positive note, Dr. Renta was a pleasant encounter after a long miserable and potentially unsafe wait in the office waiting area with COVID being such a reluctant thing preventing people from venturing out to see a doctor in the first place. I don’t think I will return to this location ever again, which is a shame, because I really did like the Doctor and the service she provided. Hopefully this sight md location can get onboard with their affiliates around Long Island.

I saw Dr. Rentas in Brentwood Rd. She was very friendly, thorough, and made me feel at ease. If you want a great doctor , she’s the doctor to see! I will be back .

I have 13 years of wearing non-permanent lenses. I have visited this place they are good. But my last visit blew my mind as the doctor told me that I am too young to wear glasses. And yet I have used glasses out of necessity, not because I want to. And also that gentleman who attended me, came out of few words if it took time to enter than to leave.

Too bad, because they charge you for things they shouldnt. They take advantage because it is one of the few Hispanic ophthalmologists in the area
