Akeem, a new employee in training, was phenomenal in more ways than one. He was friendly, quick, competent and professional. I come here a lot and he was definitely one of my favorite employees to work with! Cash America is lucky to have gained him as an employee on their staff.However, I wish I could write two separate reviews. An assistant manager (in training?) also worked with us and was exceptionally rude. I have met many of the managers and assistant managers in my time as a customer. I am always impressed by their leadership skills while teaching new employees. Christina (blonde hair) was exceptionally rude, not only to her employee that she was supposedly training but to me, as a customer. She had a huge attitude while teaching her employee, in a way that almost put him down. Definitely not good leadership skills. She also lacked the basic skills of good customer service, evident in the way she spoke to me.. Worst employee Ive come across at Cash America, hands down. Im not sure how she ended up in her position...but heres to hoping Akeem is promoted fast and can take her place.Thank you so much Akeem! Your professionalism and customer service was stellar!!!!!

Looking to pawn/sell? GO TO PAWN 1 it’s not even a mile down the road and they’re 100x nicer and won’t rip you a new hole.Looking to buy something? GO TO PAWN 1! These guys don’t care what you want (which is weird, given that’s how they make their money) it’s like pulling teeth trying to get ANY form of help in this store. I’ve gone in 3 times to buy the same guitar and walked out without it because I get tired of waiting an hour+ for them to take time away from absolutely shredding desperate people.They rely strictly on the principal that people need money and will come to them, so they don’t ever need to maintain any form of rapport or even be nice.

AVOID, not only does this place price gouge and refuse to negotiate (even when you show them you can buy an item elsewhere NEW for LESS), but they are quite trite as well. Bad attitudes are pretty prevalent here tbh.Also be careful that what you buy actually works! I bought an ampeg bass cab from here a couple years ago and I wasnt allowed to get it loud enough to test it properly. Get it home and find that its actually blown out.Its just not worth it!

My wife and I use this pawn shop quite a bit for getting good deals or getting rid of old stuff we dont want anymore. We wont be using them any further though after visiting today and seeing Kristina. She was extremely rude and flat out refused to try powering on items we brought to see if they worked. Never have I seen such unprofessionalism. If she doesnt want to work with customers then she shouldnt be customer facing.

Bought electric guitar, banjo, bass, camera, binoculars, and two cheap but classy bikes. All the stuff was easy to fix, just a little TLC. Find a line, and wait for someone to help you! Neat place.

Dont get me wrong Cash America is a great place I bought an Xbox One S in Bellingham at Cash America for $162 after taxes here theyre trying to charge me $280 for the same thing in Bremerton I dont understand how it Go graphical location can determine the price in a store that shares the same name but thats just me what the f*** do I know

I have bought many things here. Great service and I love the prices. 100% would recommend this store to anyone. I was there today. I have 2 items on layaway and also bought a fan today. Both of my layaway items they came down on the price and the fan they came down.

Ive had good experiences at this Pawn shop. Bought two firearms from them and was treated professionally both times. People need to realize that a pawn shop is a heavily regulated business whose merchandise is comprised solely of used stuff brought in by strangers. Everything they sell goes through much more rigorous oversight than retail outlets who buy their merchandise at wholesale from licensed vendors. Pawn shops must wait 30 days before making any item available to verify origin of any item...the stuff could be stolen, could be fake/forgery, etc. Buying firearms, new or used, is a gauntlet of paperwork thanks to state regulations. I had two employees helping me for nearly an hour for each gun purchase...thats expensive man-hours to dedicate to a single sale. I have no complaints.

I sold a few ounces of gold here and they gave me a better offer than any of the other shops or jewelers in town. Purchasing things here is hit or miss, Ive gotten a couple great deals but most of their inventory is priced at or near retail (especially firearms).

Bought 2 items here here over the last several years a drill and a vacuum both had to be returned immediately because they didnt work properly. Most of their pre owned in store items are priced higher then they are new on Ebay or any other online store. They have lost my buisness

Awesome store! I am a guitarist and musician, and they have a good collection of cheap beaten-up instruments, on which I love to repair and give to people. One guy at the counter was a bass player, and we talked about how second-hand is the way to go! Will frequently pop in!

Had a mixed experience. First off, Damian -in training, was pretty great. If this was solely based on him... 5 stars! He was friendly, patient, and his customer service was great! The manager, Becka, was very rude and didn’t even ask if we needed help when we came in. The people in training helped us more than the people that work there. My husband asked Gabrial a question and he just ignored him, even while the customer he was helping at the time acknowledged it also. People forget that customer service is a big deal. When the manager looks like she hates her job and makes us feel like an inconvenience, I feel like it’s a problem. She was asked for a password multiple times and she just made us wait. I will never come back again. My husband always buys and sells stuff but never again. Thanks Damian and Katelyn. You guys were friendly and did a good job.

I will never shop here again i tried to get a watch from them that I knew they had sitting in the back and because a family member recently quit they raised the price on the watch before putting it back on the floor because they knew I wanted it so I sent my buddy in to buy it and they sold it to him for less then what I was gonna buy it for in the first place they have a really petty manager there

There were 6 people working, two of them ware busy the rest warrant. They made me wait 20 minutes and I was the only one in line, not to mention the guy at the counter was mumbling as he was talking to me which after the third time of asking. It wad just to tell me they couldnt take what I wanted to Pawn off. I dont care if they didnt take what i was getting rid of, it was the fact that they made me wait 25 minutes just to tell me no this place f****** sucks.

Always willing to barter and come down off the price, this is a fun place to peruse and purchase. I picked up a Surface Pro 3 with keyboard and pen for $300.00. That is more than half off the price of a Microsoft certified unit. HIGHLY Recommended.

I was there for half an hour and the entire time one of the staff members, some short haired white dude in his 20s, was glued to an xbox game and couldn’t be bothered. I walked by him several times and he didn’t even look at me, he just stood there with his mouth hanging open staring at the screen. The other staff completely ignored me, but did help other customers. Im shopping for a computer and have a good amount of cash to drop on the right one and these guys just lost my business.

Bad service I’m 12 but who cares anyway my mom and I went there to pawn my ps2 that I had for years and my 250 brand new Nintendo 2DS XL and plus a 12 dollar DVD player and they asked only 25 dollars and the service is bad we had to wait 20 minutes and we were only ones in line and so I just played a available game on the Xbox 360 they had displayed on they don’t have very good customer service only like 2 people were nice one employee picked up a controller and played with me the other was helping my mom and they used to work together and friends and they were both pretty frustrated a pretty bad visit I would say!! And plus more!!

Unfortunately this is an average of the several 5 star deals Ive had over the years Ludwig black beauty snare $250. sony i5 laptop $35 w/o charger. (usually on a blowout sale of some sort).? And the generaly high, occasionally near retail, day to day prices. Customer service has been hit and miss as well. I have never borrowed money there though, and dont think Id like to per say. I still trip through on occasion to make sure Im not missing anything good.

Horrible place, manager is a scammer. Wrote down the item I sold them as something else to pay me less. Read all documents carefully. Worst pawnshop in the puget sound in both customer service as well as prices.

Most of their prices are more expensive than what the item is brand new! They over price their items, and there is never anyone to help me out when i have any questions.When you enter a pawn shop, not only do you expect low prices, but you expect them to be able to negotiate. This franchise of Pawn Shops has never cut me a deal on ANYTHING. If you enter this store, PLEASE make sure to look up the item online (Ebay > sold listings) to make sure you arent over paying (Because most of the time you will be)

Layaway is a scam they will screw you out of money if you dont make exact payments when they want you do not get 3 months they will sell it under you with no warning

Wow.. Talk about horrible customer service.. I walked in and got a stare down from an employee. Alexia. Because i was bringing in an older 720p tv... I get up to her and wow. No customer service no personality no empathy towards a situation. Like she was just dead inside and couldnt wait to get rid of me. Ive brought my tv in before no problems! Gabrial is usually here and handles it and is really nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Hes helped me a few times now in crisis. I work in gig harbor i have a 50 minute drive. I told alexia all i wanted was a loan for a few days so i could get gas. What i got was well gabrial shouldnt have done that we dont take these tvs anymore why did you bring it in ill have to ask my manager if i can do this maybe she will maybe she wont idk she came back all tissy and did the loan then says well im marking the acct so we wont take it after this.. Are you serious ?!? What did i do to piss in your wheaties besides walk through the fricking door ? NO EMPATHY NO WILLINGNESS TO WORK WITH ME NO CARE AND NO EMOTION! i get to feel like a terrible person leaving this store. I said to her have a good day, no response. New management sucks ass. I went to get my pawn out my brother signed the ticket which states i can puck it up. However they treated me like s%*t even tho ive been going there for 5 years.

Short Version:Even though I was originally impressed with the selection of products they had here, the slow customer service and checkout, lack of attention for detail, refusal to let me properly test out a product and the fact that they sold me a broken product with no refunds makes this a place I suggest everyone should avoid.Long Version:Originally, when I walked into this place, I was impressed with the wide selection off products they offered. I found an E-reader on display which, after I googled some information about it, was perfect for my needs. An employee was willing to take it out of the display case and show it to me, but since the battery was dead I couldnt test it to see if it worked. She said that she would look in the back for a charger (a simple mini-USB cable, like was found on a PS3 controller), and took the E-reader and disappeared.My sister and I waited for ten minutes for her to come back, and when she did she said that they didnt actually have a spare cable to package with it, which is absurd. She made an offer for a ridiculously low price and took it behind the counter while I made up my mind.When I finally decided to buy it, we waited in line for a long time before we made it to the register. The lady there mustve typed out the entire receipt by hand, because it took forever. She even went into the back to talk to the original employee before she was done. We mustve waited for 30 minutes before she gave me the receipt, which BTW had more legal info on it than any other receipt Ive ever looked at. A little suspicious.Nevertheless, I was more or less happy until I got home, where the E-readers screen broke as soon as I plugged it in. It was probably broken the entire time, but since I couldnt test it how could I know?To put another nail in my side, I tried to call so I could get a refund for my E-reader turned brick and, lo and behold, the original employee is on the line, telling me that she gave me such a low price because Cash America had absolutely no guarantee that it was going to work, so NO REFUNDS!!!I was distraught. I came here expecting the same great customer service and products that I got back in Cheyennes Pawn shops, but instead I got a rock. They couldve made a great customer out of me, but now Ill be avoiding all of the Cash Americas I come across, and I suggest that everyone who reads this review does the same.Oh, and by the way, I just looked at the receipt. It says that it comes with a USB cable and a black pouch, neither of which was even mentioned by the staff.What the heck, Cash America.What the heck.

This place is a ripoff. And the customer service is horrible. Theyre prices are outrageous. I can buy brand new items for a lot less than what theyre charging. Dont let me get started on their annual percentage rate. Dont be a day late cuz theyll charge you an extra 25 bucks.

If there was zero stars they would get that instead of a 1 star. The management wont discount prices even if it is listed lower online. I found welder online using their ap for $416 and it was in Wheaton Way store. I drove down to Wheaton Way store in Bremerton and Susan showed me welder but she told me she couldnt honor the online advertised price and would have to charge me $520. But she would check with Beka the current manager. After about 10 minutes Susan came back and told me price is still $520. Welder had just come in from another store, it matured and price dropped. Cash America falsely prints on price tag that price will drop 1/4 in 3 months, 1/2 in 6 months but the fact is they move item to another store before maturity. This way they can keep price at top price with no reduction no matter how long it has been in Cash Americas holdings. My wife and I have spent $10Ks in last few years but that is going to change significantly. I spoke to Cash America store manager at another location and he told me he would have given me welder at online price. He also told me how to file a complaint and I also filed a complaint through WA state Attorney General. WA Attorney General reviewed my case for merit and accepted it. Meanwhile I get a call from Cash America district manager who knew the facts because he read my complaint before contacting me. He told me what they are doing s legal but he would tell Bremerton store to give me the welder at advertised price. I disagree that this is legal and I guess we will find out when the WA Attorney General investigates.

Cash America is a rip off. They create a credit score for you and if you dont pick up a loan the value of the item isnt good enough. They actually track it and then low ball you next time. Even though I came and purchased my items back because the orginal loan date was past it counted against me.Their practices should be illegal since you give them something of value that should be all they need.If there was a different store open I would go elsewhere.

I had purchased an Xbox 360 yesterday and had experienced issues ryte away. I brought it in and the next day they upgraded me. I cant be more happier thank you pawn exchange.

Been going there for years, know the odds and ends and how things work. Its a great idea to help people when they need it but this company in my opinion is a joke.

Terrible prices and service.A woman at the counter stopped helping someone else to help me for a brief minute before going back to helping her first customer. Then I stood around for a half an hour waiting for someone to be available just to tell me if they had any camera lenses that werent on the shelf as this shop keeps a lot of stuff in the back.The heavily used Wii U that was missing the game it was bundled with was $200. Can get them from Ebay shipped with more games for that price. Youre better off going to Gamestop for used electronics at those prices for banged up, dirty units.The place just has a horrible feel for a pawn shop. High prices, not flexible on price, poor service. It feels more like a predatory check cashing office that sells electronics than a pawn shop.
