I took a beginners letterpress class and had a blast. I got to carve a little image into a linoleum block and then put all the little letters together for a message. Marit let us print them on one of her old presses. It was so fun getting to have such a hands on experience.The shop is full of cards made by local artists. It would be cool family place to visit to teach kids about old style printing and a card as a souvenir. Marit is also a graphic designer, but I havent had a chance to use those services yet.

Bremerton Letterpress is great to work with. I have printed many projects - from personal business cards to large multi-color posters. They now have a laser printer to do more normal day to day projects - but it is also wonderful to work with Merit to design create printing. Stopping in to get random holiday cards is also wonderful! I always find a card to send.

I barely knew how to describe my business idea into words. My idea was to have the submarine warfare pin or fish embossed into my card with my picture and contact info on the other side. Sounds easy now but it wasnt before I knew the terminology.The point of the card was to have those that recognize the fish that they knew I was a trusted mortgage professional that they can come to for any questions and one of them is in the industry. Mainly military and more importantly Navy.The cards turned out phenomenally. Every time I hand out the card, Im showered by compliments and they love the submarine fish embossed onto the one side. Marit and her entire team really took the time and communicated every step of the way to make sure there was no ambiguity and the cards came out as expected. The cards are of high quality and she even gave me some extra!So what are you waiting for? Go in a talk to them!
