I purchased my double front entry doors from them and am very satisfied. They are very knowledgeable & nice to work with. I shopped around and found that they were cheaper than the big box stores for the identical product. I highly recommend this establishment.

I recently purchased 4 oak base boards from Larsen Lumber. After applying 2 coats of Minwax clear satin polyurethane to all the boards, I noticed that 1 board was much darker than the others. (All 4 boards were finished at the same time and from the same can of clear satin polyurethane). When I called and spoke to a Larsen representative that 1 piece was much darker than the others, he informed me that all the wood they have stocked is all the same. Red oak. I thought that I received 3 pieces of white oak and 1 piece of red. He told me that they dont stock white oak. I informed him again that the 1 board is extremely darker than the others, and he said yeah, just like people.Its obvious that this man does not look at people as being equal and the same. He only looks at the color of their skin.

Great place, personal service unlike big box store!

11/30/17Just stopped into Larsen Lumber. Cool displays for Xmas gifts.Recently moved to Hudson and had Larsen Lumber provide kitchen design and cabinets plus hardwood flooring. The lead time was faster than any other store, the pricing was competitive, and the service was excellent. It was great to work with a family-owned business, and I would highly recommend Larsen Lumber for any home improvement project. I look forward to them putting together a deck package for me in the spring!

Larsen Lumber is a family owned business that is super helpful with just about any project. Rick Larsen and everyone else is great to work with. All our orders arrive on time and the quality always meets or exceeds our expectations and the price is better than the big stores. Plus you get to talk with people who really know lumber and home improvement. This is the kind of business that we should all go out of our way to support.

A concerning and bizarre encounter with one of the Larsen owners. I grew up in Independence and currently reside there with my family. I work as a nurse and on my days off I enjoy being creative by doing projects around my home. I enjoy exploring the latest options and ideas to add that design touch and uniqueness. I was referred to Larsen Lumber by a contractor who had wonderful things to say about their products. I went to Larsen Lumber and was told by the owner that he didnt have time to help me. I was looking to do a wall with flooring as an accent in my sons room. Only one of many projects to come, including a deck and first floor wood flooring. I asked a gentlemen if he could help me, He began helping me and then just stopped!? He asked me my name. After I answered, he replied that he was unable to help me. I asked why? He stated he was busy. I am not sure what happened? Why didnt he ask a sales person to help me? I asked him his last name, he smugly answered Larsen. I left there in tears!

Rick Larsen and crew are the best to work with. Design Price Quality are unsurpassed. I have done Kitchen bathrooms Doors and many other projects and the big Box stores do not compare. Check them out before you waste time and money other places.

Ordered wood for my deck and fence. Prices were lower than competition, shipping was quick, and every board was quality. Larsen Lumber continues to take care of their customers.
