Decent local store. A little pricey, so be sure to utilize the online coupon options and digital deals before visiting. As long as you keep that up to date and use your rewards membership at checkout, it levels out. Veggies always seem pretty clean and they have a really good brand of tortilla we enjoy =).. !

Small store with the essentials if not the widest selection. I seldom have the need to go anywhere else except for the occasional specialty item.Parking lot is less than ideal, but I live within walking distance.

The ad is pretty much bait and switch the whole way. They were out of the sirloin steaks on sale, big empty spot in the meat case. I eventually got them but had to ask three times and wait ten minutes.Bubly, you had to buy five boxes to get the discount. Im not against that, but they only had one box of the flavor I wanted. Cheez Its, i didnt notice the five bix requirement so they took me for a buck and a half there. And anyway, who wants five boxes of Cheez Its?Also wanted deli ham, no one at the station. A look at the selection showed that to be significantly overpriced so after waiting a bit I moved on.Was my first time in a Vons in at least a decade. Its also my last. For easy to understand shopping and good meats, go to Stater. For selection, Ralphs.Everyone I talked to was friendly. This is on management. Maybe not even store management, but Corporate.

I enjoy shopping here, as the store is always clean. Their bakery smells delicious as their products taste. Fruit and vegetables are always fresh. Prices can be a little pricey unless you belong to their rewards program. Personnel always helpful and friendly. Timely service.

I shop in here when I only need to pick up 1 or 2 items. Its a smaller store. I dont particularly like the bakery is right at the door when you walk in, so I never purchase in this department. The cashiers are very friendly which helps.

The cashier Shelley is extremely rude. Yanked a basket out of my hands and said NOPE. I turn those in. She could have very easily just explained that only cartscan leave the store. Very unprofessional.

The woman who checked me out treated me very poorly for not wearing a mask. She asked me if I had a face covering, I said, “no, I am sorry I don’t have one.” She gave me one and I put it on to check out. Meanwhile she continued to insult me and make sure the line of people knew I was a “diseased carrying killer responsible for infecting others who will die because of my selfishness”. I was absolutely belittled for reserving my right as a 7 months pregnant woman to be able to breathe while buying my children fruit. The manager must talk to this woman about the way she treats others, I have asked my entire family to no longer support this establishment. They are ungodly and un-American.

We are vaccinated and choose to wear a mask. We believe employees should wear masks, regardless of vaccinated status, you just never know.

I like the selections of fruits and veggies available. There was a deal on rotisserie chicken for $5. When I got there around 8:30am, it was fresh out of the oven into the rack!

Vons is a nice and clean store with good produce and meats but I find them to be high priced on most items. The only good deals they have require you to have a Vons card and a coupon from their weekly ad and usually has limits on how many you can buy. I only buy items I cant get from the 99cent only stores.

Regular customer since 1999 due to convenient and safe location. Gas prices are always competitive. Drive thru car wash gets used regularly. I find it to be less than satisfactory for the price, but when in youre needing a quick wash its very convenient.

Chris harlow at the meat dept is very wonderful. He helped me out with a question I had at the store. He is very knowledgeable and experienced— best in the store , great customer service skills, and high attention to detail. Highly recommend this dept at this store.

Older supermarket, however the staffs are very attentive for customer. Walked in for the Friday special 8 pieces of fried chicken, not ready yet. The lady serving at the counter informed me that it would be 5 more min. Asked her to get me 8 pieces when its ready; walked around get some veggies, when passing by the deli, another staff ran after me to handle me the packed 8 p chicken. Thats customer service.

My local vons. Also the smallest major chain grocery store Ive ever been in. Selection is very limited. They dont even have a chip aisle.

Cant beat the service. The prices, maybe! I love Melinda in the bakery and Cindy in the Deli!

Compared to other Vons, this branch is somewhat dated, including the interior, layout and even employees. Service is slow in the seafood and bakery departments. Prices are what you expect in any Vons as well as food options. Surprisingly very tasty chicken wings and rotisserie chicken, which I think is the best kept secret here and tastes better (and cheaper) than other supermarkets and pizza chains.

Great quick stop shopping, easy parking. Produce fresh, special markdowns on several departments on Tuesdays. Stop by floral department and get help from Nick who is exceptional floral designer. Love this Vons, in my top 3.

Wasnt happy. Had a coupon to use. But they ssid they did not carry the caffeinated product, only the decaf one. And they would not honor the modification and give me a discount on the decaf. So I decided to go to Ralphs

Cant go any lower but needs to post how incredibly rude these two cashiers were..ONE OF THEM A MANAGER!! saw a courtesy clerk and other employees talking to each other and would not help. Manager refused to call for any help. Worked grocery for 17 years never experienced this level of treatment.

Great employees high prices

This particular location is usually clean and the employees are generally friendly. Its a smaller store than other Vons locations that Ive been to, but their selection is decent. Their groceries are a bit on the expensive side unless theyre on sale or part of a promotion, but its our go-to place for when we need one or two items at a time.

I used to run a business in the same complex 10-15yrs ago. The place looks pretty the same still. Has most of the things any family needs. But they are definitely missing items bigger stores have; because they are small!!. I think was fine though back then since the community was much smaller, but now brea is really growing, population had increase a lot especially in that corner. Not that they could do much to enlarge store. Overall the store is clean, well labelled aisles. Definitely check them out!

The staff here is far superior than anywhere else near by. They are always extremely helpful and very polite. And their pastries I cant get enough of. Everything they offer at the counter tastes amazingly fresh.

One of the smaller Vons stores. It doesnt always have everything on the sale bill. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The parking lot can be very full on some Friday evenings due to a Karate studio next door.

Went there for a floral arrangement and the florist was not in yet. A premade arrangement had some wilted flowers in it and it needed to be fixed up a bit. Waited a few minutes and then the manager went to great lengths to get me what I needed even though the florist wasnt available. She even discounted it since I had to wait. Great service! Thanks!

Courteous and kind staff with well-stocked shelves. The only two downfalls are the size of the store: its pretty small for a grocery store, and the size of a parking lot: its a pretty small shopping center and when it gets busy it can be almost impossible to find a parking spot.

I pick up office coffee here. Its very clean. I usually get in the same lane with a blonde check out lady. She always cracks a joke and is funny.Also, shout out to the African American cashier whos insanely fast. I dont remember you name but you should get some kind of award.

I do my big shopping at Costco. But this Vons is just down the street from me and Ill walk there at least twice a week. Its a small store, but they do things right there. The bakery is awesome, but a bit over priced, compared to Costco. But they have one thing Costco cant touch: the small rounds of sourdough bread. Theyre made fresh every morning and they are magnificent. The clerks are all very pleasant and shopping there makes me feel good. Its old-fashioned, but in a good way!

Convenient

This is not a full grocery store. Its a good one for its location. I get most of my major items here. I usually have to go somewhere else for specialty cooking (lactose free, gluten free, paleo). It is pricey though compared to the nice little grocery shops Ive been used to. The deals really arent that great in comparison to other shops as well. It does what it needs to do for the surrounding community. Ive personally only experienced good customer service here.

Terrible place. Peggy Pellet is entirely incompetent. I was in the store to buy some milk and some beer. When prompted I handed her my STATE ISSUED California Drivers License and she stared at it for over a minute, reluctant to hand it back to me. Then she shakes her head and says no I can’t accept this. I’m over 30 years old and have been to this store several times per week over the past several years and have presented my ID to other competent workers who actually knew what they were doing and accepted it. Needless to say, I’ll never be back to this store. The store manager called me a couple days later acting concern. She did nothing to address the situation.

I had a raincheck for 12 boxes of Double Chocolate Krave at the sale price a month or two ago. At the same time I came in to use the R.C. I was told they dont carry that anymore just Chocolate Krave but would order me a case of Double Chocolate. Was told to come in the following Monday to pick it up and was not there. Came back two days later, same thing. Another couple days later the same thing. 1 1/2 weeks it looked like it was finally there. Well, it was but not the Double Chocolate, just the regular one. The Guy at the check stand said he would make sure it was ordered correctly this time. So I came back the following Monday and started the shenanigans all over again. At tho point my Raincheck had expired. They Did renew it for another month. So now Im still waiting like last time and it never comes in. They have me every excuse in the book. After talking to the Manager on Duty (Forgot her name) She assured me She would order it from a different store who carries that particular cereal...... Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha on me. Its now 3 weeks later and I HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED A CALL BACK FROM THAT LADY!!!!!#!!!! Ive been a loyal customer for decades and Vons Employees cant even keep a promise to a customer??!!! VONS BREA IS A JOKE, IM GOING TO TRY THE ONE ON BEACH TODAY IN LA HABRA.
