We found this donut shop about two years ago when our son started his private tennis lessons in Brea. It was by accident when looking for some coffee and donuts while waiting during the lessons. They by far have the freshest donuts around. When I say “around”,  I live in Downey near a Randys donut and I make the 23 miles trip to Brea for these fresh pieces of goodness at SY donuts. We always get at a minimum one dozen. As you can see this time we got two dozen one for the in-laws, didnt want to share this time 😁 Thank you/cảm ơn bạn SY DONUTS. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I’ve come here since I was a kid and I didn’t realize until I was older how much I took being walking distance from the best donut store ever for granted. I used to think they were just my local donut store, but they are so much more than that! All their donuts are great, but I am always finding myself comparing the glaze of other donut shops with Sy’s. Nothing had beat or matched their glazed donuts! The donuts here are always fresh and fluffy. You won’t regret going here!

Donuts are very good. Better than most donut shops. Prices have gone up and service is hardly friendly. Luckily, the donuts are good enough to overlook the almost rude owners so I will continue to stop by.

Rushed in for a coffee and donut. I didnt have cash so I attempted to use my debit only to be denied because my total amount was too low. I wouldve paid the card fee, but the rude cashier wasnt having it. There are plenty of other donut shops in the area.. Gladly taking my business elsewhere. Dont waste your time here.

Sys is a good value old school donut shop. The prices are very reasonable and the selection is good. They also have donut holes with sprinkles, which is great for the little ones. Its got a small seating area, and a good beverage selection as well. Their hours are early riser friendly and Ive never had an issue with the freshness of any of their donuts. The proprietor and his wife are attentive if not overly chatty. This is our go-to local donut shop on weekends and will continue to be.

Love the donuts. They are supplied by Bakemark, by far the best ingredients. Does ma & PA have the best customer service... No. But, once you see them consistently, they open up. And their coffee is great!

Best Donuts in Brea!! Great independently owned donut shop!! They remember your order after you go a few times! And the best is they make a cronut!! And french crullers!! I havent been able to find another donut shop that does that!! Well worth the drive & stop! But get there early, they sell out of these!

Yummy, friendly and affordable, and they do a surprisingly good iced coffee. I dont get the comments about the owners not being nice, ive been eating here for years and theyre always pleasant/efficient.

Lets just say customer service was horrible! I said hello as we walked in, no response from the person behind the counter. Very sad it was my first and last time.Also when I asked for box since I was getting a dozen donuts his attitude was very rude. I love to support our local businesses, but respect and common curiosity goes both ways.

This is an honest review. I really want to like this place, it is conveniently close to my job and.. well, they have doughnuts! I have worked in this area for 8 years so I have visited this place on and off for the past 8 years. This is not based on a single visit.First and foremost, every time I walk in here, the couple behind the counter (the owners, I assume) act like theyre doing me a favor by selling me their product. No matter how cheerful and polite I am, it is not reciprocated, which makes me feel unwelcome and rushed. So I only stop by here when I absolutely have to. You know, when I need to buy donuts for the office, etc.Also, the doughnuts are okay, not horrible, but not amazing or anything. Just okay. Today I stopped because I had a craving for a Cronut. And it was honestly horrible, I didnt finish it. The coffee is watery, again, not horrible, but definitely not great coffee.Price. The prices in my opinion are not indicative of the quality of their product. Theyre a bit high, in my opinion.So over all, this place is below average and it should be avoided unless you need donuts for the office, where the people wont complain because theyre getting a free donut. If you want quality donuts and good customer service, shop elsewhere.

First and last time here , very expensive.2 dollars and some change for a cold plain butter croissant
