The Hot Topic Brea location is my favorite. Everytime we go in we are always greeted and everyone that works there is so helpful and they always make you feel comfortable. All of the employees talk to you and show you merchandise you might like and are just as excited talking about it as you are. That day Sara, a gentleman I didnt get his name and a girl with pink hair were AMAZING!!! I appreciate all of you that work there! Thank you for your amazing service. Ill be back for more goodies!!!

Found a cool baby Yoda patch for my girlfriends hat! Its a cool place to find patches, clothing and other stuff from movies or tv.

Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They dont hover but make sure to stay in the open to answer any questions.

My Favorite place for band shirts bought me a badass metallica shirt. Daughter loves it here as well. Always love to browse around.

Every time I visit U.S., I must go to a Hot Topic nears me the most

I’m someone who doesn’t usually do reviews however this HT and the staff are fantastic and very very patient!I came in two different days and both times the staff did amazing! On the first day(feb. 14th) the two girls who had helped me that day were amazing! One had helped me find a Tokyo Ghoul Sweatshirt which I was super excited about! The other girl with the rainbow hair answered some questions that I had as well and was very helpful. All the staff that day were very kind and welcoming as a whole.The second day I had come in to do an exchange for a small size denim vest that I had purchased the first day because I was too large. The second day there was quite a mix up with addresses and accounts and we had to do a lot of flip flopping. There was a I believe a new girl in training, working with either a shift lead or manager who was helping her.I felt bad about making it so complicated but we completely worked it out and I appreciated and still appreciate how helpful they were.Thank you HT staff! Keep rockin it and stay safe and healthy out there!

I received nice and helpful service from those working here. They had an answer to the questions that I had and also were very patient with me when I couldn’t remember my hot topic card info but they were able to find me by cell phone number. They were able to clarify some of the sales that they had as well because I purchased some non applicable items that they helped fix

I like Hot Topic. The has a lot cool t-shirts to choose from and I really like the accessories of Disney they have. I even bought a one direction shirt one time in Hot Topic. So Hot Topic is a cool store to look around especially when they have shirts of favorites bands and TV shows

Im not really liking how the company is moving back into the ultra goth try hard clothing. This store is cluttery and makes me feel like its crashing down on how its designed. I would love to see more of the quailty come back and more mellow nerdy styles. Plus they dont really have dresses anymore and thats my favorite.

The workers here dont check how many items people bring into the fitting rooms. A saw a young guy go in with 15 or more shirts, literally a stack! He had a backpack also.If I didnt know better Id think she was in on it (the short haired blonde who opened the door for him). He was clearly under the influence and stealing clothes.

I do miss the old days when moms, dads, grandmas and grandpas would be too scared to come into this store, then their 13 year old emo/goth wild child would make them come into the store and those people would be the only ones dressed in color. Now the store has rainbow unicorns and moms think they can be cool for shopping in it. Im not against moms shopping in HT but I am against them trying on fish net stockings in the store asking for their kids advice on if they should buy it.

Got something for everyone on my Christmas and a few things for me! Yeah! Cant wait until after Christmas to buy some more.

Dont judge by the fact that you see 14 year old girls, hot topic stayed true to its nature with heavy metal as soon as you walk in, the best piercings, and awesome t-shirts

This store has all the fandom merch you could ever imagine. Always super stocked. Its a bit small so walking through it is like a maze but the workers there are super helpful so it makes it easier to get in and out. Theyhave a lot of piercings that are usually but 2 get one or buy one get one half off and I believe they have a stamp card you can fill up from buying body piercings and get a discount from which is cool. They have CDs and Vinyls as well in the very back of the store that are definitely worth checking out if you like records or hard copies. The store is kinda broken up into sections. In the front where you first walk in, youll have all the fandom stuff with clothing, jewelry, and accessories. The middle of the store is where all the clothing for everyday wear is like band and music tshirts, pants and jeans, dresses, body jewelry, and other little accessories. And the back is the music related stuff, cds, vinyls. This last time I went was to get some jeans because they have really nice quality jeans and pants that fit my tiny frame and they were having a buy one get one sale so I went over there and the female worker there (didnt catch her name :/ ) stopped and helped me find the right ones I wanted and helped ring up my order and was out the door quick!

Pretty cool hot topic, they seem to have more of a selection and sizes than the puente hills version. the only bummer is that stuff you buy online may or may not be returned at the store... depends on method of payment and whether they sold it in store or not

HT in general has done a great job transforming over the years from something goth/punk catering strictly to an alt crowd to something edgy but pop culture. Punk just isnt what it was in the 90s. Now kids love their superhero stuff, clothes branded with their favorite cartoon characters and, of course, the awesomeness that is the Funko Pops. While you may not get Punk Rock Points for shopping here, you do get a 90s-themed brick and mortar where you can go to satisfy all your nerdy, geeky and pop culture needs.This HT as a store is a well-managed spot with enthusiastic, non-judging, non-elitist workers(?), Topicers(?), Hotties(!).. well call them Hotties. They have their scripting down, making their upsells flow seamlessly and their delivery of daily deals seem natural. Even their greetings are usually mostly believable. This is one of the best HTs around - a hot spot, if you will.You wont?Okay.

After a terrible experience at the GameStop inside the same mall, the sales associate at Hot Topic, Nicole, completely made my day. I had called earlier and talked to her on the phone about putting an item on hold. She told me it was in pretty bad shape, but I decided to come in and take a look anyways. When I came into the store, she remembered talking to me on the phone and told me she had found another one after she hung up that I could look at to compare and see which one I wanted. When I asked if it was in better shape she told me well that is objective so I will let you look and decide. The other one was in PERFECT condition. Other than just coming through with the item for me (and using the right language to avoid a potential let down), she was just friendly and helpful all around. Thanks Nicole.
