I really like this store. The grocery, bakery, meat department and produce staff are great. They are all very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The staff in the meat and produce departments will go out of their way to answer a question or find or get you a product that you need or cant find. A few times I was in the check out line and forgot something. The staff at the register immediately sent an assistant ( the person that helps up front) out in the store to retrieve what I forgot or to replace eggs that were broken and I didnt notice. Again, outstanding customer service.This is not the case with the deli department. Numerous times I have waited at the counter while the persons (plural) stood around behind the counter and talked, joked around or ignored me and other waiting customers. When they finally got around to waiting on me they acted like they were doing me a favor. I have stood there many many times with other customers have have experienced the same level of service. I usually let my wife go shop while I wait around to get some deli meat cut. I have brought this to the attention of the store manager and assistant manger before.This last time this happened is the last time I will shop at Vons. I waited while two deli employees helped a person with an order for sandwiches. I dont have a problem with waiting my turn. What I do have a problem with is the two employees making me wait for serval minutes after the previous customer left, meanwhile they were standing just a few feet away from me and completely ignoring me. After they finished their discussion and decided who was going to wait on me, one of them finally turned his attention to me. I asked this gentlemen if he needed a few more minutes to converse with his co-worker. His response was extremely rude, condescending and unprofessional. His explanation (which I didnt ask for) was that call in orders come first and too bad I had to wait. I replied that was fine and said I dont want anything today. I went to the meat department and purchased a ham which I will take home and slice myself.There were two employees standing there doing nothing. And one of them could not even stop for a second and address me in a professional manner. It doesnt take two people to wait on a customer. They should have both been fired.I will not shop in a store where I am treated like this.I will take my business to Walmart or Target in El Centro.Sincerely,G. MannLong Time (15 years) Vons Customer

The manager Charlie is awesome its very courteous and kind and always has a smile on his face great customer service skills. Just by the way that they treat their customers and me which is what makes me coming back. Its good to see friendly faces of the employees there. No complaints.

Pretty good place. Only complaint I have had for YEARS is that there is no delivery and now no pick up like walmart. The pharmacy is wonderful and friendly. They are open 7 days a week unlike other places (pharmacy). I will take pictures next time I go because the pharmacy has a private waiting room. Its worth a stop to see if they have good deals. The meat is locally sourced, not sure about the seafood though. Stop by and give it a try. They sometimes have really good deals!

They moved around everything when I was out of town and makes it so easier to find any item , they also put discounted items in front of the entrance so people can see when they enter . Nice!!!

Its a little more expensive but less crowded than other grocery stores we like that 😊

Great deli selection. We were spending one night in a hotel and able to grab a great breakfast to make back at our room.I was able to find all the items I was searching for.

We dropped 8n a got some Deli chicken for dinner

Have some niche stuff, always look at expiration dates on packaged foods, especially cheeses and any tofu. They will leave it out on date thats it suppose to expire

We visited the Vons to get a sandwich from the deli and unfortunately they didnt have sub rolls... that wouldnt have been a problem except they wanted to charge me the same amount to make the sandwich on regular sandwich bread. not cool Vons.

I like Vons thats where my mother would take us when we were growing up.

For a growing city like Brawley, California this is a 5-star grocery store! Very nice clean store with a top notch Starbucks with friendly staff. The bathroom were super clean.What a blessing to stumble into such a friendly place when just passing through a growing city.

They carry many products but only 2 registers open, and their inside Starbucks theres always 1 person working, during Christmas 2020 is closed for remodeling, hopefully in 2021 January will be open

Vons is a good store. The only thing agienst it is the high price on the items at its regular price. Some of its specials are at an excellent price.

Great meat dept. Butcher will cut to order before 3:00 pm weekdays, so if you like thick steaks while they are on sale this is the place.

Went to Vons for munchies in Brawely..my granddaughter Graduated. Bought cupcakes drinks, fruit. Beautiful flowers and balloons.

Wait in a long line, then wait in a long line again to get back the money theyve overcharged you. Ive had to do that a few times, and wonder if its even worth my time. This last time they didnt even honor their its free policy. They know that a lot of people just arent going to bother with checking their receipts or coming back to get their money, so they just purposefully price things wrong.Another issue is that this store will put things that they know are out of date right back on the shelf. I pointed out some badly out of date cereal to a manager and went back a couple weeks later and it was still there. I then started putting it up on the top shelf and theyd just keep putting it right back on the shelf. Before I knew how awful this store is and started checking everything I buy there, I bought sun-dried tomatoes that went out of date in 2016!Ive frequently found very rotten produce in the store shortly after they open at 5am. I never experienced that at the numerous other Safeways and Vons Ive shopped at.With a couple of exceptions, the cashiers are all extremely cold. I definitely dont expect smiley-cheery-happy-I-love-my-job type people, but the vibes are usually just really cold here no matter which language I speak.I really wish this Vons would close and a Winco or Grocery Outlet would move in.

6 am was denied entry for seniors I have work at 7 am Im just trying to get baby formula. Now Im going in late to work because of this.
