This place is a true jewel in brawley. If you love Mexican candies and snacks, papas lokas, fruit bowls and raspados. This is the place to visit. The staff is super friendly. Lots of parking on the back. Prices are reasonable. I love this place.

Horrible experience here! Brought the kids in to get a scope of ice cream. For starters, we walked in and nobody was in the store and within the 3-4 minutes we spent in there looking, 3 to 4 others walked in. All others were helped first and no one even bothered asking if we needed help. My kids loved the colors and my wife started asking the flavors of the different colors in order to teach the kids and Diana rolled her eyes and sighed. It was one of the worst experiences Ive ever had. Normally, I would have just left but this trip was for the kids. Sadly, I told my family about this experience and they too have mentioned about being treated with horrible customer service. Even though this post will probably go unnoticed, this was the perfect example of horrible customer service that the Imperial Valley is known for. Very sad.

I went to la fresa like all the time and tbhis girl name Viridiana (name on her shirt) treat me rude me and my family she had an attitude and was disrespectful when she took our order acting like she don’t know what i was saying and start calling other employees disrespectful to help me with my order this isn’t the first time that’s why im complaining. I remember the other employees they were good and respectful… i just can say la fresa is not the same! I will never come back!!

I started my day at this little spot and was delighted with spontaneity courtesy and soothing earthy flavors...I had my share of tasting which so graciously was offered by Delia while Eugene enlightened me with history of this juice and treats bar, Teresa in the background was chopping away....thanks guys for the wonderful ecperience!🤗👍

The raspados are great n so is thee staff! Pretty friendly compared to previous staff.. overall I totally recommend yall to go visit and have a Cabo or a salad pretty bomb . Carne asada fries are pretty bomb 2!!

The best raspados anywhere!!!! My sister-in law loves this place too. Chili mango or Cachanilla are my faves. They also sell Mexicali-style flautas which are really good. But the kitchen closes at 5pm. Not sure when it opens.

As many years that Ive been going to La fresa Ive hadnt had a problem, but yes sometimes they can be a little slow but they try to get your order out quick. But after today my review and star has turned into a 2 stars instead of 5. Me and a friend had placed an order online to pick up and when we got there we told them we were there to pick up an order but instead of attending to us they closed the door and locked it. When they said our orders would be ready by 7:40 we showed up before our time and waited till 8:30 outside but no one came out and when we called they had turned the phones off. I called to get my money back but nothing and I called customer service and they said I would have to wait until tomorrow. But they saw us and even let another person in but wouldnt answer the door to us. I didnt pay but my friend payed with her card so they took her money and waisted our night waiting a whole hour outside with kids. So if you decide to place an order make sure you screenshot everything you order and how much you paid. Because to me this is a RIP off! And I aint a happy costumer!😤

Good food, and good drinks. Services is a bit slow, and they are a bit unorganized. If you go in your lunch break, you will probably wont have many time left after going. You have to make 2 lines to get your salad, one to pay and another to order it. The salad lady is Awesome, she is always smiling and gives you the best service there! So, order ahead if you are short on time.

They got some good items to eat but only a few employees working they lack of fast service, so if you going to order anything be prepare to stay there at least 1/2 hour for just an Icetea. The owner of raspados has become very greedy and hardly put enough people to work for a fast service. Understaffing and the tacos are good but pricey the icetea taste good with lemon but sometimes it tastes like too much sugar. And when they prepared fruit salads the fruit is super warm. Poor quality hot salads.

My wife and I came here and she got a smoothie and after one sip it tasted disgusting. She went back to ask the employee if she could fix it or make an other drink instead of fixing it the employee told her that she couldnt do anything about it.

After ordering my drinks, we moved to the side for them to get prepared. However, that wasn’t the case. The employee continued to take several orders after me. The employee also went ahead and made all of the other drinks & food before even starting my order. Then to top it off, one of the other customers who came and ordered after me, who was served before me, ordered additional drinks at the pickup side. The employee went ahead and made the additional drinks, and when she was placing the money into the cash register, she took another customers order. Then she made that customers drink before mine. After they finally made my order, it was sub-par, and it took about 20 minutes, and we were late to school. I decided to call to speak to a manager, and the same employee answered the phone. She said the manager wasn’t there, so I asked when they would be available? She said, I don’t know because he doesn’t really have a regular schedule, so I said can I at least get a name? She reluctantly gave me the managers name.

Good Mexican fast food had the carne asada tacos they were excellent. Unfortunately was not able to get the lamb tacos which were recommended by the local assembly person. The lamb tacos are only served on Friday Saturday and Sunday big disappointment.

Great stop in downtown Brawley.It wasnt hot this weekend but imagine how even more satisfying it would be at 110F heat. Not complaining and we just missed their tacos and carne asada fries. They ran out but no problem there since they had all sorts of smoothies and raspados. Worth the stop specially in the summer.

Great prices for sweet tea w/lime (I imagine you can request no lime but never tried) and their raspados are pretty good too. If I dont go for the tea I usually go for something spicy like their Chamoyadas or Hot Cheetos Papas Locas.

The service was slow and horrible.we ordered a lot of food! 2 super clammatos 2 special quesadilla plates 2 bean burritos and 2 horchatas.the only thing we consumed was the drinks.only because it was hot outside! We paid about $60 And didnt look at our food until we got home! I was grossed out. Everything was burnt and the avocado garnishes on the flautas tacos I forgot to mention were black and smelly! It was such a mess we called them. We were told the owner wasnt there. They promised to call us back. But they never did..so disappointed. Oh and their fresas con crema are worse. Its just crushed ice and syrup with 1 or 2 strawberries and a squirt of milk!! So lame....

Not as good as when it first opened. Clamatos always hot. Workers leave you waiting in line for a long time. They dont even acknowledge you. Starting to go dow hill!!!
