We were in a hurry, we just dropped in and picked up the I item they had waiting for us. The evening before we called them as they were closing to see if they had the item we needed which we had tried 6 other stores for closer to our home. As we talked to one of their staff another went and got the item.They appeared to have a varied and well stocked inventory.

Ive been going to Brown & Roberts for 40 years, and I feel so lucky to live in a town with a hardware store like this. Excellent customer service, worth their weight in gold.

They have a lot of the little things in some of the big things that you really be looking for that you would have to go on a drive to King or somewhere else to get its a great stuff Im going there all my life check them out theyre good

Love this place! I drive an hour form Mass to go here. They always have the best Stihl products and accessories fully stocked! I am totally enamored if their creaky wooden floors and “card catalogue” nuts and bolts storage!!!!

Helpful and well stocked!

This is, for a good part, that old fashion hardware store there you can find anything you expect from a hardware store. Screw, nuts, nail, various shaped pieces of steel, that missing part for your lawn mower, you name it. I love to go there, get advance from one of the workers there, knowing that I have the right part in my hand. I have been there many times and I dont think I ever left disappointed.

Im probably in Brown and Roberts at least once a week for something. They have all the essentials from tools and hardware to kitchen appliances and canning supplies. This last trip I was able to get a key copied, fabric dye for one project, and silicone caulk for another project. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Fantastic local downtown resource!

They were very pleasant. Gave my service dog, Cinnamon, a treat. Employees and customers always enjoy Cinnamon.

I have been a client of Brown and Roberts for almost 40 years. Its a fantastic place. It recently was sold and some things have changed. Fortunately they still have some of their old workers. I highly recommend them.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Purchased an orbital sander for the first time. Rob was very knowledgeable about the product and even threw in a few sanding discs for me. Will definitely shop there again

This store is very well stocked with three floors of hardware, kitchen goods, and home & garden needs. Their staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and they seem to always be open. I love this store.

Great maze of a store and amazing employees!

The staff always shows a deep knowledge of how to do any kind of home repair, even tricky problems. They get you the best tool, or paint or primer, for the job. And the array of stuff packed into this store -- whether its ordinary hardware or specialized forestry tools -- is incredible.

Hardware stores should all be like this one. Helpful staff and just about everything you could need - way beyond tools and fasteners - all in an old historic building right on Main Street. Check them first for most any household needs.
