Not sure how this company has so many positive reviews given my experience with them.I was torn as to give 1 star or 2. I understand manufacturers are dealing with delays. That is not my issue here.I was told the Hot Tub would be 10-16 weeks.When I asked for updates, I was on 2 different occasions given anticipated dates from Chris in the warehouse. (They do not have showroom, it is a warehouse in the back of a business park).I called to speak with Lance and while respectfully and politely asking for a better understanding of when I could actually expect the hottub, Lance flipped out. It was like speaking to a child; cautiously trying to prevent them from throwing a temper tantrum. He hung up on me and told me he would give my hot tub to someone else. At no point during any conversation did I raise my voice. His frustration with the delays was taken out on me for asking.Lance told me that he cannot track individual orders and the basic response you receive is... I will know when they are on the truck. The relationship with the manufacturer seems non-existent.After waiting 4+ months, I was told the hot tub would cost an additional $330. Take it or leave it.155 days and all in cash payment, I received the hot tubI am still awaiting my stairs. Which I was told they have no idea when they would have them. I would have posted this sooner but I had to wait for a check in the mail to reimburse me for the stairs. I did get that.Am I pleased with the hottub? Yes. If you feel like putting down a $1,000 deposit and randomly getting a call sometime in the future that your hottub has arrived an not concerned with a time frame, updates or customer service, go right ahead.

We had a great spa purchasing experience with Factory Direct Hot Tubs. Even though the spa industry has seen unprecedented demand in the past 12 months due to the pandemic, Lance was able to source a great spa for us in a very timely manner. His pricing was fair and he did exactly what he said he was going to do. He delivered on time and removed our old spa in the same trip, with all the details cared for and our expectations fully met. I rarely write reviews so that should say a lot about Lance from Factory Direct Hot Tubs. We knew exactly which make/model of hot tub we wanted after using it at a vacation rental several years. When we decided to purchase one for our home backyard, the only question was where to buy it from.Price was most important, white glove service was less important for us. I believe Lances lower overhead cost (i.e., no fancy showroom or expensive staff to read the product specifications to you) = savings in your pocket. Because of this, if you go with Lance, youll need to make sure you have your own trusted team (electrician, contractor, etc.).Lance was always available (24/7 it seemed via phone and text) to answer my questions before, during, and after delivery but we did feel a little on our own with regards to learning how the hot tub works, settings, etc. Thank goodness for YouTube and the owners manual. We had to reach out to the manufacturer about how to program the hot tub to work with our 60 amp service so that the the pumps and heaters work at the same time. Apparently that is not possible with the 50 amp service, if you turn the jets on the heater turns off with 50 amp service.In summary, if you are an engaged buyer ready to roll up your sleeves looking for a great product to be delivered and installed at the best price, go with Lance. If you are busy, disabled, or elderly looking for full white glove service- you may want to try the traditional hot tub retailers but be ready to pay more for that service. We got the South Seas Spa Deluxe 748L with the lounger. We love it!

We could not be happier with our recent hot tub purchase from Factory Direct. Lance (owner) is great, very knowledgeable, always accessible, even answers questions after delivery/setup and just wants his customers to be satisfied. The tub is high quality and the price was the best. We did a lot of research and are thrilled with our decision to go with Lance and Factory Direct. Highly recommended. Thank you!

Amazing experience. Lance was awesome from the time that I called him to ask about his hot tubs. Ours was 20 yrs old and started leaking so we were in the market for a new one. I admit I was a bit skeptical when we went to the warehouse to look at what her had and ordered our custom one that morning. We took a chance and so glad we did! It came in the exact time frame that he promised and was delivered the next Day!! He stood by his product every step of the way. Mikey was awesome for delivery. Very professional and could not beat the price anywhere and trust me we did our research prior to going with them. Just purchased a new spa from Factory Direct in December 2019. Hot tubs are absolutely top quality and rock bottom prices due to Artesians business model of direct sales. Lance was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. Definitely not a hard-sell or a hand-holder but he was always there when I needed him and quickly resolved any issues that came up. I couldnt be happier as the service was great and this was the same quality hot tub I could have gotten for twice the price. Ive had the tub for a couple weeks now and couldnt be happier. Factory Direct Hot Tubs was great to work with and were very accommodating. Lance met us at his shop and spent over an hour with us going through every detail and expertly guiding us through the various features until we were comfortable with what we wanted. The delivery was equally as painless, getting the spa to where we wanted was not easy, but Lance and his crew were great and got the whole thing set and level. My wife and I have been enjoying our spa several times a week and it has been one of the best purchases weve made. Highly recommend Lance and Factory Direct.

I searched for a hot tub online, and came across Factory Direct Hot Tubs. I emailed, and Lance called back at once. He walked me through the whole pros and cons of hot tubs, taking a lot of trouble to find out what I really needed and what would work best for me. He wasnt just trying to sell me the most expensive. We ended up with a great deal, delivered promptly, and we are very satisfied with the hot tub and the customer service. I can definitely recommend buying a hot tub through Factory Direct.

Factory direct was a pleasure to do business with. Easy to reach by phone with questions and helpful with deciding on a tub. Their no pressure way of sales was comforting as a buyer and convinced me that they were more interested in customer satisfaction than just making a sale. I would highly recommend anyone in the market for a hot tub check them out and save some money at the same time. You wont be disappointed!

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Lance was really accommodating to our needs, spending a lot of time making sure we had the right tub for out budget, and even going as far as arranging a crane service to get our old tub out (which was really competitively priced). He then took care of everything for the install, which was 1st class. His guys were fast, thorough, polite, and made sure we were 100% happy before leaving.In summary, if you are thinking about getting a new tub, you should give them a call!

Dont understand those 1 star reviews...something is wrong there. My experience has been great from beginning to end. Lance is a stand-up guy who does great work at a great price. And he wont disappear either. Those one star reviews by dannel Malloy are bogus.

Lance and the Factory Direct Hot Tubs team provided a great deal on a South Seas spa. Delivery to a tricky spot in our back yard proved to be no trouble; our electrician found the layout and motors to his liking.The tub itself works wonderfully. Two pumps work efficiently and we especially love the lounge seat in our 748L model. Lance answered my questions and this was an easy purchase; he beat a local competitor by some $800. I cant comment on any follow-up service since we have only had the tub since June 2015, but Lance resonded any time I had a question. We bought our hot tub from Factory Direct about 5 years ago and love it. When we need parts, which is rare, we call them as well and receive excellent service. We have been very happy with them since day 1. Personal service and they go above and beyond!

Wow, never have left a bad review in 70 years. dont do business with this company. they do not stand behind there products. they dont return calls, they dont take care of any issues, terrible hot tubs, terrible service. lance the owner is a joke. i bought this for medical reasons, what a rip off. 7 grand down the toilet.

Company is a scam company from craigslist. terrible customer service, terrible employees, they dont stand behind their products, they dont stand behind their own work. I have had to have deans in southington come out and fix Lances mistakes.should have bough a thermospas hot tub, FDHT uses a dirty creepy public storage area for their showroom. will uploading pics later of the horrible service mistakes these guys made.100 % AVOID THIS COMPANY..... Have bough 2 hot tubs from this company. With this last 1 i bought, the company has gone to rock bottom. The new hot tub is a four winds caribbean and has had nothing but problems with it. the company who built it and the only service guy local is also the seller.......-- hot tub cover lasted less than a year, junk, needed to replace-- 2 different heaters have broke and leaked. paid factory direct to fix heater and manifold, and the new one lasted less than a year and factory direct hot tubs dont stand by their product.-- factory directs hot tubs employees show up reeking a smoke, leave garbage next t my hot tub, scratched the heck out of my tuscan sun shell, and yet again, factory direct hot tubs wont stand by their employees or their products.-- jets had issues with the stainless trim rings rusting, bought new ones seeing they are not covered even though less than a year old, factory direct hot tubs ordered me new ones that didnt fit, had trouble getting refund but did after about 2 months. ordered myself for less than half.-- still never got my hot tub stairs, my cover lifter, or chemical package from factory direct hot tubs. still waiting for my product i purchased valued at a few hundred.-- hot tub circuit board got wet and damaged due to factory direct hot tubs employee not tightening the heater tube correctly.-- when factory direct hot tubs delivered my hot tub, the gouged out my trex decking because he was to cheap to bring another worker even though i paid to have them set it up. and again, factory direct hot tubs wont help or fix it...go figure.I will never buy anything from this company and would advise anyone to do business with them. avoid the headaches and buy from a reputable company. beware of factory direct hot tubs.

The owner lance provided great customer service the whole way even after delivery ! Was our first hot tub and he answered every call on all questions. Hot tub is great !! Lance provided some of the best customer service I have ever received . Definitely recommend him and the artesian spas to anyone in the market !!! :)

Install tech issue, poor tools and struggle with drilling holes for the cover lift mechanism, broken bits and stripped screws.Slow follow up, spa delivered with wrong color cover, 3 months to correct issue.
