I wish the deals for loyal customers were more rewarding but the smiles more then make up for it. They almost always have every little doodad I need. When I’m trying to fit together this crazy thing with that and “what if I just macgyver this with this little clip and some tape?” — yeah they’re patient with me too.

Came to get an air filter for my lawn mower. While they didnt have any out front, someone from the service department saw me looking and went to the back to get one to sell to me. Great service!

If I could give zero stars I would. I was looking for a specific model of garbage disposal. I double checked that they had it in stock online as well as calling ahead to be sure because I live about 20 minutes away. A guy asked me if I was looking for something as soon as I walked in and took me back to a small endcap that had 2 or three disposals. I tried to tell him I was looking for a different model but he kept interrupting me and became kind of aggressive. I think it might have been because I was wearing a mask and some people get angry about them. I dont know for sure. What I do know is that Ive never had worse service from anyone in any industry and I wont be back.

Went there to get a key made and it had a chip in it so they had to hook up a computer to my truck and they did not bat a eye they were right on it . And then he put a battery in my remote start for me. Got treated like a person it was nice.

Needed specialty light bulbs for a chandelier. Young person took us right to what we needed but upgraded model for same cost. Excellent job, knew products very well.

Original issue was with their seeder - it was broken, they knew it, and still rented it to me without telling me that it was broken.They were originally only refunding me the rental price, not the price of all the wasted seed. The store manager did call me back and fix that after I left a message for him.

Always have a great experience at Ace! I know people think you can save money by shopping the box stores but as with anything some things are cheaper at Ace and some not. If you enjoy that 2 minute trip to get a bolt or something small, then shop Ace all the time to ensure we always have them!

My son went to find a net so he could catch minows and tadpoles. They were sold out of butterfly nets, so one of the employees went to their house real quick and grabbed their personal one. Showing such patience and encouraging him to be active outside by going above and beyond!!

Brought out riding lawn mower in because it wouldnt start. 3 weeks later I was told to come and get it. Immediately upon getting it home it wouldnt start. We went back and got their trailer and brought it right back to drop it off again. The young kid that works there wanted to argue about how he did everything he could. But I have a mower that still wont start after 120 bucks and 3 weeks. We go home and about an hour later someone calls to ask me where their ball for the trailer is. I told them I gave it to a guy who was at the counter. He looked up my name and I assumed credited me back my 50 dollar dropsy. Nooooo, instead he had charged me again when I dropped it off. Ok so I get that cleared up and 2 weeks later they call and leave a message that it was a bad battery they had installed and I can come get it. We come in on Friday and the mower wont start. We are told the mechanic is on vacation and will call us on Monday.... He doesnt. I have to call them today (Tuesday). The guy that answers the phone tells me I can come get it, its done. I ask him whats been done to it. He tells me they replaced the battery. I told him no, thats from the second time we brought it in. He transfers me to the mechanic and he accuses me of leaving the key on. Ok the mower was supposedly fixed on Tuesday and we came in 3 days later to get it and it wouldnt start. Did the mechanic leave the key on? He told me in his voice mail that there was no parasitic draw but now he says there must be one. I ask what theyre going to do and he tells me they are charging the battery. I tell him dont bother, weve been there and back 4 times now, spent 120 dollars and my mower still doesnt work after theyve had it for a month and a half. At this point Ill go get it and take it to someone else. . Will NEVER bring anything here for repair again

You cant walk in the door without being greeted or asked if you need help. They have a little bit of everything, a great service center for lawnmowers and snowblowers. A good selection of rental tools too. Love the small town feel.

I think the slogan used to say sometging about Ace being the helpful place, it holds true here. Small town values shine through with their excellent customer service. They are here to service your small engine equipment, mix your paint, cut your keys and help you find just what you need for your project or repair.

I usually go there for pet food, tools, rope ,shovels ,nails ,Etc! This store has absolutely the best customer service!!!! Ive brought all kinds of problems to them!! power tools not working correctly,, pulling harnesses that needed to be altered. They look up other information for me!! not trying to push me out the store!! And the discount coupons I get in the mail have saved me a couple hundred bucks the last year!! And one time I forgot my coupon for 20% off my whole purchase and the short guy that works there every time just gave it to me anyways,,,,,,,I think he recognized me!!! All employees seem and appear really Happy!! Im all out of coupons and need some more,,,,,,,No recent coupons in mail 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔😣😣😣😣

Good staff, as well as great selection of products. However I had a 5 LB propane tank filled and was told there was a minimum charge of a 10 LB tank. Something that typically costs around $4.00 to fill costed me $14.00. I understand that there is a minimum, however I wish I would have known this prior to having it filled.

Took a Stihl chain saw in for repair and paid the $20 diagnostic fee. I thoroughly explained the issue and waited the 3 weeks for it to be repaired. When I picked it up Brandon the tech diagnosed I needed to read the manual, Thats it, read the manual. Within less than 10 seconds of use the same issue reoccurred. I immediately returned it within an hour of picking it up and Brandon wants another $20 diagnostic fee. I would have literally paid the clown $40 at this point to tell me I needed to read the manual!! Extremely unprofessional and irresponsible service.UPDATE : Stan Houston Equipment diagnosed the problem and replaced the parts for slightly more than Ace diagnosis fee.

For quick fixes around the house, I know Ace hardware will have what I need. The staff is very courteous and helpful as soon as you walk in.

While selling girl scout cookies at a booth, I noticed the friendly helpers. They were quick to help customers with whatever they needed!

Good selection, maybe a little more expensive than the big stores. But for a quick fix or small projects they fit the bill.
