I got the urgent care facility to send my prescription to this Walgreens. I have VA as my medical insurance and the staff and the pharmacist told me that Walgreens do not have a contract with VA, even when it explicitly says otherwise in the VA website, and I have had prescriptions filled at this Walgreens before. Ok, so they recommend that I go to another pharmacy and ask them to transfer my prescription. So I go ahead and do that. Pharmacy calls and Walgreens says they don’t have any prescription for me in their system. I called them. I had to speak with 3 pharmacy techs for them to tell me that they don’t know what happened to my prescription. Its gone! So then what? Clueless AH.

They offerd me a walgreens med card free of charge,save me over 300.00 dollars, thanks walgreens

This Walgreens is okay besides having to wait a little longer at the pharmacy sometimes because hardly anyone is ever back there, but some of their products are priced WAY more expensive than they should be. Another example today is that I needed sunscreen that is $7.99 on their website as an online deal but needed it now instead of later. At the store I thought it wouldnt be much for expensive but it was almost TWICE the price. I looked online at other stores and theyre also $7.99 to buy IN-store OR online while Walgreens is almost twice as much. These small price gouges are what keeps my family going to Walmart and CVS for Summer stuff.

This place has terrible reviews but I can say at least one good thing for them. They are open till midnight when everyone else around closes early. Convenient for late night medicine runs when you wake up not feeling too good.

I wish I had read the reviews before going here. Absolutely the worst pharmacy staff!! They are rude and extremely uncaring!! Will lie as opposed to taking the step to actually call the presciber. They kept saying they did. I went outside and called myself and found they didnt even try.A few days prior while trying to get the same prescription filled there, as it was desperately needed, was told it wasnt filled out right and refused to fill it. Told them without it ending up in the hospital would be the result. Pharmacist said how is that my problem!! Well the hospital we had to go for 2 days!! Dont know why we gave them a second chance!!If you want a caring compassionate Pharmacist this Is Not the Walgreens for you!!

Pharmacist is lazy and wont even confirm if a medication needing to be filled is *actually* a controlled substance or not. He would rather lie and get an attitude with the customer than just call the doctor or even look at the prescriptions.

Won’t recommend this place worst customer service , worst pharmacist they are supposed to fill two of my asthma inhalers .. they filled one and out of stock for another and never knew about it until I went there to pick up the medications .. no phone call or text message .. absolutely nothing.They don’t know when the stock will arrive or didn’t want to help to find out if any other Walgreens in vicinity have them. Just blank look and rude answers Talk to the manager? Just another waste of time .. will never ever go back

Incompetent pharmacy staff I took a prescription and was told 15 minutes came back was told an hour and a half! three hours later I’m being told one more hour for prescriptions for my husband who had surgery four hours prior then was told by pharmacy staff that they are short staffed and that if I did not like the wait I could come apply ! Then was put on hold again! Another staff member came on the phone and I was told that if I didn’t want to wait anymore that I could take my prescription elsewhere! terrible customer service will not be coming back! Only person who cared about my issue was the store manager Angel ! She was able to my prescription in 10 minutes!.

Worst Pharmacist around. Always has an attitude and judging the customers. He should take his job a little more seriously without the people this clown wouldn’t have a job.

A pharmacy member made me feel like a pill head by referring to my medication as your pills after my insurance did not go through immediately. I wish they knew that I began taking this medication as a child through no choice of my own.

Worst pharmacy I went for a Covid test 72 hours before my flight and the day for my trip I had not gotten my results and the rest of my family did it at CVS and next day they had their results, I had to stop my trip because they didnt do their job, give me my results in 72 hours. WORST PHARMACY EVER!

My husband was shopping there after a trip to the pharmacy across the street. While in Walgreens he dropped his prescription bottle and didnt notice till he got home in Apollo Beach. I called the store manager Fernando, who was extremely busy, yet still took the time to check not only all around the store, but the parking lot in a downpour. He found my husbands medication and saved the day. And saved my husband a lot of stress and suffering. To thank you Fernando for being kind enough to take time to help and save the day! What a kind, thoughtful person you are. We wont forget what you did. ❤️

I have been going to this pharmacy for years. As of late they have become the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. The y will lie and tell you the have your medications when you order. And when you pick it up they only partial fill. Which causes the cash price to double. And then they say you better take it because its on back order. But if you call a day or 2 later they have more in-stock. Seems like they just dont want to honor discount card prices. But have the full prescription in if I use my insurance.

The pharmacy is never staffed appropriately. Today we waited almost 30 minutes in the drive thru. The person inside said they only had one person on duty. Could.only see one customer through the window. Not an efficient way to run a business. Management needs to be more responsible. Pretty sad.

I called in for assistance with the clinic. Unfortunately the clinics are closed until June 9 but the staff on the phone were great. Way more helpful than I anticipated.

Good liars on the phone but when you go there Your not able to get the meds you called for 2 days ago I wouldnt recommend this place. Ive even took someone elses medicine home I called they told me to bring it back so they could give it to the right person untruthful and untrustworthy

My daughter went in this evening around 7:30 pm to get her prescription filled after missing a day of her medication and going through terrible withdrawal. The pharmacist told her there were no withdrawal symptoms associated with Cymbalta. She told him the ER doctor said it is one of the worst, to which he shook his head and scoffed at her. When she asked if he could recommended anti-nausea medicine, he snapped back, ginger ale and crackers. Avoid this pharmacy and go to CVS where pharmacists know about the medicine they deal with. Look up Cymbalta withdrawal and you can see how wrong this so called pharmacist was. On top of being wrong, he mistreated a young person for no reason.

Young Asian female is an absolute nightmare of a person. Didnt care to check into ANYTHING, spoke extremely loudly, revealing very personal information to all in earshot and then actually SAID OUT LOUD that she thought I was peddling two of my prescriptions because of the clothing I had on (was in sports pants and a TV shirt, my pjs). Never mind that the chemo Im undergoing, round 4 in fact, makes even changing hard enough, but making me go all the way there only to be berated publicly FOR BEING A TERMINAL CANCER PATIENT, but they have been my go to pharmacy all along. FIVE YEARS OF CHEMO, RADIATION, SURGERY and they have record of ALL OF IT!

I give this store absolutely ZERO, no stars, I would not piss on this store if it was ON FIRE... Im constantly told I cannot have this or that persciption for some dumb ass reason... And Im not talking about controlled substances.. I ran out of blood pressure meds and they REFUSED to give me meds even though Ive been filling here for over 3 years??? I was forced to go to the emergency room over blood pressure medicine???!?!! Now my license has been suspended, and I cannot fill any of my scripts??!!!??Do yourself a favor do not use this Walgreens.

I wouldve given this particular store a 5 stars until what happened yesterday on May 24, 2016. My husband and I had just moved to the area in July 2015. We started going to Walgreens here on Brandon Blvd because they had offered a 10% military discount every Tuesday. My husband has served the military for 26 years and still counting. Well, starting on May 24, 2016 this Walgreens no longer offers the 10% military discount/appreciationDay. It may seem ridiculous to some people but after serving the country for so many years, we know that saving every penny counts especially with the prices of everything going up except for our paychecks. To my husband and I, it feels as if Walgreens no longer supports our troops. So, we will no longer be shopping at this Walgreens and will continue to shop elsewhere where at least they do appreciate our military.

While this is the only pharmacy in the area that seems to ever have my meds in stock, every month I get my oxycodone filled at this pharmacy and im shorted pills every time. ONLY the pain meds are short, my several other scripts(non-narcotic) are all accounted for. So it seems to me either there is a thief in the pharmacy or someone doesnt know how to count or follow procedure. I brought the issue up to the managing pharmacist and was called a liar and told they cant make mistakes on pill counts as they count two and three times which know for a fact is not correct as my father has worked in their pharmacy several times. I will be escalating the issue to Walgreens corp and filing a report with the board of pharmaceuticals. While the store staff and manager are very friendly and kind, the pharmacy is a wreck and their staff is unfriendly and uncaring.

Was confirmed to have the medication we sought only to arrive and be told we had been lied to.NOT TRUSTWORTHY!
