My time here was amazing! I had bought a pair of joy-cons a few weeks beforehand and they were a bit inconsistent with the button inputs. I put zero blame on GameStop for this because Nintendo has been making joy-cons with little to no quality control ever since the Switch came out. I was more than happy when Freddie said I was still able to exchange them and they still had the colors I was looking for. As far as I could tell, Freddie was the employee in and still had fantastic customer service. Trust me, when youre the only one running the store things get stressful and some times out of control. Not with Freddie though, he had it all under control and still gave some of the best customer service Ive ever had. Big ups to this guy, give him a raise for realEdit: AND HE PICKED UP THE PHONE WHEN I CALLED AHEAD. You dont know the amount of times Ive called any store only to be met with the ringer for 10 minutes just to hang up and end up not going. Seriously some of the best service. *****

As always my local games stop is fantastic it’s filled with a bunch of great people that always make you feel safe and at home surrounded by your favorite hobby. Btw Tanner is awesome.

This 5 stay is based on the interaction I had with a GameStop employee. Ill leave him name anon unless the managers would like to gratify him( which they should). This anon offered a lot of good knowledge not just what could be there in store, but helping a fellow gamer understand how to set up a particular installation.Pushed no sales, and was extremely helpful.

Freddie is the best person to talk to, hes very knowledgeable about everything!!! Hes been there for many years. The other staff is excellent also. But Freddie knows everything & if the staff doesnt know the answer they go to Freddie. I will ALWAYS go to this Gamestop & u should too!!

The staff is terrible and rude. There was no communication between employees. I pointed out an item and one employee was quick to speak to me as if I had no idea what I was talking about when i’ve been playing that series for half of my life. Do not go here unless you want to be treated like you’re stupid.

Outstanding service as well as selection of games and other items that my little boy wanted for Christmas. Nicholas, the customer service representative who holds the same name as my son (naturally we got along well) went over options with me regarding my account, explained thoroughly the details of my extended warranty on the item I purchased and was nothing short of stellar when it came to providing excellent customer service. For this reason Ill most certainly be back not just during Christmas time but all year long.

The guy that helped us tonight was great. My son ask him to see how much money was on his gift cards. He had 4 and he gladly did it. He then helped my son with questions. Great experience.

Was the only place I could get a gift card for the Nintendo switch online service. I dont think Ive been there in at least 15 years but they seem to be surviving and thriving which is a good thing!

Just purchased a preowned charger kit for the Xbox one controller. It isn’t working at all. Tried different power adapters and different usb cables. It’s either broken and was never screened though quality control or it’s labeled incorrectly. Staff was very off-putting during interqctions. Only one employee working, didn’t answer the phones and seemed flustered

How is this place still in business? 1 they wouldnt buy because IT WAS NEW AND SEALED. He said even if I open it myself A total of $12.50 TOTAL for all 3 games! The same games sold for no less then $19 EACH.

1.there attitude to customers on returning defective games is a problem for meFor example i had bout few games from a location in mall they did not check the games properly and resulted in me bringing them to another location to replace them and that location clerk had a problem with me doing itIf. Depending on the store you go to you can either have a pretty decent experience with some helpful staff and info on what youre looking for or a poor experience with no one willing to help you out. Just avoid this place if youre looking to trade in old games, as based on experience you will not get a good price for them at all whatsoever.

Worst customer service. Door was unlocked, i already knew what i wanted and they refused to take care of me. Said they closed at 6pm but door was unlocked. After asking the rep three times if he could sell me the game i already knew that i wanted, he refused. Management should really train their employees to go an extra mile. Wont ever be back to any Gamestop, going to stick to buying my games online.

All I wanted was a headset, but I got the worst customer service. There was a line of 3 people in front of me. They help the first 3 guys which takes a total of half an hour. Then when its finally my turn 3 families walk in and when he calls for next in line he tells me that I have to get behind them. I just left without purchasing anything. Its not like there arent other GameStops in the area, but I wish they were held accountable for their actions.

This is by far the worst gamestop i have visited. I will not return. On my first visit about a month ago, a store employee would not talk to me regarding playstation merchandise, every question I asked was ignored. When my boyfriend asked the same question, the employee answered. Frankly disappointing and sexist. Recently, we visited the store to purchase a new ps4, as ours had just died. The employees behind the counter chatted throughout our entire transaction, and the employee helping us had no idea what we he was doing. We asked for a brand new ps4 slim 1T. They told us they didnt have any, and brought a used 500GB ps4 to the front. We restated that we wanted a new ps4 and they suddenly had a bunch in stock. The employee had to void the transaction and start over. Really a terrible experience.

It a decent place, for some reason the place smells like it was wet vacuumed, with a rug doctor, nice staff but I think theft is very high in this store, employers arent very suddle they will just out right just stare at you, if theyre not busy with something else, there are better ways to deal with stuff like that, like going to the person and ask8ng if theyre looking for anything specific or if you can help them look or find anything, all in all they always have more games for a small store that I can never find at their larger locations, and they always have bigger sales.

Hahaha, this GameStop is where they must send all the incompetent employees from all the other GameStops. Thats the only answer I can come up with. They have no clue on how to do anything. Dont know how to run a credit card. Dont know what new games are coming out for the PS4...so many things that I dont have time to list. I thought it will be convenient because its so close to home but I rather drive out to the one on lumsden. Freaking pathetic
