Nice shop Tyler was very helpful quoting me installation for a rear mirror backup camera installation. Out of 6 other companies Tyler quoted me the best price by a brick and mortar storefront and I scheduled my installation for this company. Other big box companies were extremely expensive and Im very happy I took the time to quote them. Mostly I liked his right out front direct spot on down to earth quote. He earned my business!

These guys are great. Wish I had more business I could bring em. They took care of an alarm issue I had with a system they didn’t even install. I had to bring my truck back 4 times due to an issue with the manufacturer shipping incomplete parts etc. and CSS didn’t charge me a dime more than the original charge for the first visit even though they had to take the system apart each time I came in. Yeah it took a while and was a little frustrating since I live a good ride away, but it wasn’t their fault and they handled it the right way.A stand up, solid business that I would easily recommend.

I remember Scott from many years ago since hes been open in Brandon since 1987. I took my son in with his equipment that he wanted to move from his truck that he sold to a new car. Scott quoted a very fair price for installation and a new ported sub-woofer box for 2 10 subs. Plus, they did window tinting for a very fair price. I really liked my experience here.My car stereo abruptly stopped working. I was driving and listening and then there was nothing. I checked and changed the fuses with no success and realized I needed professionals.I called their location about 10-15 minutes before showing up to inquire if they may be able to help my situation. They said they could take a look but sounded positive so I gave it a try.I neglected to get the name of the gentleman I interacted with but he was very nice and didnt make me feel less knowledgeable as I have found can sometimes happen when a female seeks auto service/repair.It took about 20-25 minutes for them to find and fix the problem, which after the gentleman explaining how they said my after-factory installed stereo was hooked up and what happened to cause the loss of power, is impressive in my mind.I would definitely strongly consider this location again, if needed.

For the past 10 years I have taken three cars to get window tinted. They do an excellent job with a lifetime warranty. I never had to use the warranty on any of my vehicles. Although this place is known for stereos for the car, it should also be noted that they are extremely excellent on car window tinting. Very honest and helpful. We had a problem with a device malfunction we were not aware of that was causing the new stereo to not work. They found it and advised us what to do no charge since they couldnt help us at the time due to us having to reorder it.

I Called B at 3:30pm he said that they closed at 6pm and it could take up to two hours to complete my radio installation. I got there after 4pm. He had me in and out in 30 mins and he also spent time enplaning dual mirror technology that I could use with my new radio. Great guys. Very professional. Im not exactly sure what the negative reviews on this page are about, but I encourage anyone to go check out The Car Stereo Shoppe and make up their own mind. A business doesnt stay in business 30+ years by ripping off their customers. Its unfortunate that a couple customers with a grudge are more likely to leave negative reviews than the hundreds, if not thousands, of customers that have had amazing experiences.Scott is very knowledgeable and fair on his pricing. The thing to remember is that his shop is not a huge corporate store. The prices are comparable a retail chain, but the customer service is a lot more personal. TCSS offers a walk through for every system they install instead of simply handing you a manual. They also explain the pros and cons of the equipment you are about to buy before you buy it instead of simply smiling and nodding just to make a sale. Their window tinting is high quality, fast and very inexpensive as well.Again, I encourage anyone to check out The Car Stereo Shoppe. Im glad I did.

Ive taken three vehicles to Scott over the years and have always had a pleasant experience. I am reading these negative reviews because I actually just bought a new truck and looked up his shop to get the phone number so I could check their hours.. Im not quite sure how these folks managed to have such a horrible experience. Ive been a return customer there now for years and he and his staff have always treated me fairly, respectfully and steered me in the right direction when I had questions about my system setup. So I thought I would include my own positive review because I feel he deserves it and we need to continue supporting local mom&pop businesses in this area before the big box stores run everything else out of town.

I,m always happy with the work I get done here. I have had windows tinted on my F150 and BMW, New deck installed, speakers, and a back up camera. Theyre the best in town!

This place is the epitome of professional, in every sense of the word. I have had several vehicles upgraded here, and the utmost care was always taken. Scott and his team worked on my car in January, and eight months later they accepted it again to address some concerns I was having. They had the car all day, addressed several issues, some of which even preceded them, and returned my car promptly. Installation included new carpet, a new box for my 3k watt speaker, new wiring, and controls to name a few. Did I mention they did all of this free of charge!? I did not buy the box, speaker, or amp there but they treated it all as if it were their own. See them for your audio and tint improvements!

Great Expereience! I called Friday before they closed and talked to Scott he said be here first thing in the morning when we open and youll be the first one in for tint. I showed up right before they opened and got service for tint right away. Took an hour and the price was super affordable. The owner Scott talked with me during the wait time and what a nice guy! Ive known Scott since the 90s when he first installed a system into my Camaro. I walked in not knowing anything about car audio and he helped build a really sweet custom system. I have continued to get equipment from them over the years. Every install Ive had done from them has been rock solid. I would recommend them to anyone.

Mediocre. Some small bubbles. Not a big deal my car aint fancy, I didnt expect much from a place promoting $99 tint as apposed to quality and professionalism. I got the strip ($30 more + lifetime tint) and ended up paying $180 after taxes.If the bubbles get bad Ill take it back. Life time warranty right? If it comes to that and they deliver, Ill give em a couple more stars. They almost taxed me twice too.

We got a double din stereo installed on 350z and the guy knew exactly what he was doing. The price was reasonable and no extra charges, all one price. The tech even went above and beyond and showed us how to use the new app radio.

Ok. I have a motorcyle I did an upgrade on. Speakers and amp and I was going through speakers spent alot of money moved and found a new place to go ands it was wired wrong. I told them it didnt sound right and was not right. They told me it was me. And made me think I did not know what I was talking about.

My opinion of this place has been solidified after reading all of the other poor reviews of this establishment. I called two separate times earlier today asking about two separate issues and both times I was met with an extremely rude associate who was unnecessarily condescending and acted like I should already know the answers to the questions I was asking him. Im also not sure if it was two separate guys both times or if it was just one, but either way, he/they were absolutely the opposite of someone you want answering your phones. Not to mention the guy acted like he wanted nothing to do with making any money from me . Thats fine because I went over to Performance Pit Shop and they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable, in addition to having basic social and communication skills. They have my business now.Also they quoted me 30 bucks for something that was 15 over at Performance Pit Shop, lol.Anyways, if anyone from this shop is reading this, its no surprise you have awful reviews and I GUARANTEE you will earn more 1 star reviews in the future if you continue with whatever employee/employees that I spoke with today.

Ask them to build me a speaker box with 1.25cuft airspace, the box was 1.1cuft not what I paid for,this place is a joke dont waste your money here.

I got my car tinted there about a year and a half ago and they did give me a lifetime warranty but I have to constantly get them re-tinted and it’s hard to get in contact with anyone

Absolute worst place to purchase anything, unless you want to pay triple what you would normally. The owner Scott charged me 380 dollars for speaker install and 1 box for a 12, on my 2010 Altima, gave me a crappy attitude when I questioned the price and then ignored my calls after. Installer did a great job but im surprised this sorry place is still running.

Unproper installation payed well over 2300 for 1 15 and a radio and amp the amp os the 2nd one in 2 days and no power so i spend 2 stacks on nothing i hope Tuesday i ether atleast get money for the amp back wich was 800$ and on ebay there worth 100. Dont waist your money and time here please trash..

I have a 2004 Ford Ranger XLT FX-4 4 door truck and went bye Brandon Car Stereo Shoppe to ask Scott. How much it would cost to do window tint on the front 2 doors and the front wind shield eye brow and Scott said 75 dollars and I waited about a week and then had it down and there to do it for me. The guy that installed the window tint said 30 minutes and I will be done with your vehicle and he was done alot faster than 30 minutes more like 20 to 25 minutes. Scott has a very nice setup and knows his stuff with car audio and other things like that in the car stereo area.

This place is a joke, dont waste your time or money. The owner does not need your business, and thats exactly how he treats you. If you want to go to a place where the prices are high and the customer is never right, this is your place! The Car Stereo Shoppe, the place where customer servicecame to die!

Dude named Wayne half assed everything and I caught him charging me for speaker installiation which he didnt do! Anything to get comission up or however it works. He called me a M fing (n word) and screamed never t come back. These people are trash. I would speak to managment but are likely in on the scheme to so why bother

The owner ASSAULTED me, threatened my wife and my new born baby after I went with my receipt and told him the stereo he sold me does not work just after 6 days of purchasing. He wrote down our license plate and told us that he knows people and to watch our back.
