Hard to park close to the store on our Sunday afternoon visit. Although the mall was really busy, Sears was fairly quiet. Their offerings not appearing as good as the close by Macy’s and Dillard’s.

Able to find good deals right now but the store is closing, so hurry.

I purchased a dry/wet vac for my husband truck. Found out he already has two. Took the item back today, the return process was quick and easy. The best part was, no waiting in line. I went to the jewelry department and got a good deal on earrings. Great customer service from both employees.

They are giving huge sale right now but all sales will be final. There is still a lot to choose from at low prices after the discounts are applied. I would definitely appreciate if some cashiers are more friendly and greet the customers and answer all their queries in a more polite way since the sales are final and cant be returned.

Pales in comparison to the iconic store that it was. Although some areas of the sales floor was sparse and sometimes empty, it did not offer the deep discounts normally found in that type of atmosphere. Hoping they find their identity.

Located inside of the Brandon mall. Passed through today looking for 1 item and ended up with 3. GREAT sale (up to 70% off), but limited cashiers for checkout. There were at least 10 people ahead of me, but the two cashiers were very quick and efficient by making sure the proper discount was applied.

It so sad the store is closing in a very upscale Florida mall. Deep discounts were being offered for sale. Even the fixtures are so sale. The end of the American icon is here.

They didnt have much of a selection for lawn equipment, shelves were bare, and the only positive I can think of was there was not a crowd of people. Its almost like the store is preparing to close down (I wouldnt be surprised if it happens sooner than later!).

This location is being closed. Had expected to find better deals. Most items only had small mark downs.

Went to pick up my online purchase. They couldnt find it. Went back and they lost it. Went back and they said I already picked it up but they had another order for me. They called and said they found it. I live 45 minutes away. It would have been cheaper and less time consuming to pay the shipping.

Sears at the Brandon, Florida Westfield Shoppingtown Mall is unfortunately closing. Theyre having a storewide clearance that has been going on since early February 2021. Ive purchased a number of mens clothing items like jeans and cargo shorts, nice summer polo snd golf shirts, socks at 60% to 80% off in the last month. Unfortunately I missed most of the best pieces of mens jewelry like the better Seiko and Bulova watches. Still much stock left of everything even this week, like better mattresses 1/2 off, kitchen appliances, ladies casual jewelry, kids casual clothing. Check it out before it really is all gone.

Do not ever purchase appliances from Sears. I was under the 1st year warranty and my refrigerator was giving me problems. I tried numerous times to get it fixed but their scheduling system is HORRIBLE! It has been 3 months since then and now they are saying that I am not under my warranty. Mind you I scheduled repair before my warranty was up. From my understanding I have a 90 day grace period from the last repair date to get everything fixed but they are making it a hassle to come out to look at my problem. This has been the worst experience and I will definitely write corporate about this. So sad because I am a former employee!

They keep display boxes for items they do NOT have in the store and are UNABLE to order on-line for reasons they canNOT explain.Very frustrating😠

Visited Feb 2021. Apparently the store is closing soon. Usual trick of raising prices so that discounts look better than they are. Very sad and dismal.

I work in a sears in Ohio and was trying to contact this store for assistance in having one of our customers order a saw that we cant get at our location but they can that she wanted to order for her son who lives in Brandon. Couldnt get through to anyone after a dozen attempts.

The woman at the jewelry counter was so very sweet. But she was the only one and was lined up with people waiting. She needed another person or 2 more hands! She was very very nice and calm, politely telling them she would be with them as soon as possible. She was an absolutely wonderful employee! Give her a raise!

No longer sears, liquidator selling goods at premium prices, example floor model stove they post $4,000 sale $2,000. I googled the model, another sears selling same in box for $1,400 new regular price.

Sears is AWESOME!!! They always have exactly what I need for a great price! For example, Im slim, but not super tall, and I can NEVER find ANY clothes ANYWHERE!!! But Sears always has my size. I shop in the womens petite section even though Im a teenager, because the girls department is just too frilly and pink and the juniors department is too... I dont know... not my style. I prefer wearing mature clothes that will make people respect me more. Sears I guess is the only place that understands and respects that. Thanks so much Sears!

Buyer beware...Don’t buy appliances or extended warranty from Sears! Bought three new appliances, all Kenmore Elite, fridge already down after less than 2 years. Bought the extended warranty and 6 weeks later we still have a broken refrigerator. Called for an appointment, for the 16th of September. Repair people came out and had to order parts. Waited a week for the parts, and repair people can’t install parts until 1st October. I was told my area isn’t serviced until then, however the repair people are servicing Clearwater which is in my trail Thursday the 24 September. Sears customer service is terrible, apparently there’s only one repair contract and they’re overbooked. We spent no less than $6,000 and will not be back. I expect service for that kind of money, not a run around. There is a reason why Sears is going out of business...they don’t care. Frankly, they deserve to be closed. I only wish I could get that old refrigerator back, it ran with no problems for 42 years and send them back their junk.

Westfield Brandon mall location is closing. Visited today and was surprised how very little merchandise is left.

Went to the Sears at the Brandon mall. I was attempting to return an item that was purchased On 5/23. I had previously attempted to return the item previously while I was still within the 30 day period for returns. At that time I was told that I would not be able to make a return due to a state mandate that would not allow businesses to take returns till a further unspecified date. Fast forward to today. I attempt to make the return again and the manager on duty (Sharon) tells me that they won’t except the return because it is past their extended return period that I was never informed of. She was extremely rude and unprofessional and offered little help. I’m a disabled veteran with breathing trouble and haven’t left my house much during this time as I am considered high risk. I can see why sears is going out of business with employees and procedures like I’ve seen today. I’ve shopped at sears my entire life and today they lost a loyal customer.

Lets be honest. You only went to Sears to use their parking lot.

Come on, people, what is it that you want from a retailer? Great prices, same brand names you know, helpful staff, clean store, ample parking. They are desperately trying to win back your business. Their pickup window is fast, under 2 minutes wait time. Too long? Install their app and have them walk it out to you.

Made a major appliance purchase and was assisted by Wanda who did not pressure me into any particular model but answered all my questions and was very helpful and friendly. My experience was satisfying, relatively quick and absolutely painless. Very happy!!!

My husband and I purchased a washer and dryer online Friday for pickup Saturday. On Friday night, he received an email stating that the items were no longer available and that our money would be refunded in 5-7 business days. He called customer service on the Sears website this morning, and was told that the item was available and that we could reorder it, but we would have to pay for it again even though we have not yet been refunded for our first order. We called the store several times today (the large appliance department and management) to see if the items are in fact available or not, but no one answered the phone. My husband left a message with large appliances, but we have not received a call back. We have already removed our old washer and dryer because we planned to install our new ones today, and we are beyond frustrated that no one at Sears will help us.

They had a good selection of items on sale. Horrible problem, we could not find salesperson for over 30 minutes to help us. When we are ready to check out and pay it was about 20 minutes to find someone.

As a 39 year loyal customer of Searss, my visit to the Brandon automotive department was exceptional. Anthony, Abel and Ben were superb in the customer service they provided. They truly take care of their customers and make sure they answer all your questions. They take pride in their work and exceed all of my expectations. I refer them to all my family and friends. Used to be the go to place. Had to get a specialty tool and they were the only ones who had it. Walked through the store and was pleasantly surprised how great the prices are. Did some comparing with the online stores and Sears was actually the same or cheaper prices. Will be visiting again

Sears is going downhill.... nothing left in the tool section which was my need for visiting. As a former Sears employee many years go, this makes me sad.

Very friendly staff but we had a horrible time trying to find work boots for my husband. The woman in men shoes did look them up online and we ordered them that way and they had free shipping for shoes.

Almost no registers open no matter how busy and rude staff. On one occasion one cashier was not listening to me or ignoring what I was saying to her during a price check and on another the cashier would not adjust the price for an item that was marked down and smirked off about it. Of course this was after sitting in a line of a few people for 20 minutes or more. ALL of the issues Ive had resonated around older workers in this particular store. Do not want to listen and blow people off. Will try my best to never come back again

Store felt VERY dated, and dingy. My wife did find jeans on sale for our children at a discount. The person working the register was very rude. With Sears being in the position they are in, they should be trying to do it better and brighter to change the public opinion.

Sears is an American institution, I hope keeps going strong. They are the only department store that still has everything. Their appliances and tool warranties are universally relied on and appreciated. I always have great, friendly service and find everything I came in for.

We rented a car from Avis inside Sears at the Brandon Towne Center. Our car had an issue and we needed to do this last minute. The girl behind the counter was efficient and nice. Their price was cheaper than others and had something available right away. Very happy.

Bought a pair of work boots there. Didnt notice security device wasnt removed, till we arrived home. Went back next day to have removed. The cashier was rude to my wife. Demanding receipt first. Cashier was told 3x, receipt was in bag. Also when I asked about sizes being available. Associate said no without making any attempt to check backroom stock.

This Sears Department Store location in the Brandon Mall has always been a favorite of mine over the years. The store was always clean, organized and well maintained compared to other locations in this chain. This store is in need of a major restock however in the tool department but this may be due to the current financial situation. The staff has always been helpful and friendly and I find the tool selection and quality to be first rate. I hope that Sears can turn things around and regain their place in American retail dominance.

Normally I would not even get 2 Rats Ars about Sears,but I have to give this lady in the shoe department late on a Saturday night 2 Thumbs Up and Five. (5) Stars.The prices on the on sale shoes had already been changed and she stepped up and made sure we got the shoes we were looking for at the right SALE PRICE.I truly believe you should be a manager, and not just a clerk thank you for caring...from Marlene ,Eloy and our service dog Butchie Boy..

Went to get some lawn tools. Limited inventory and choices in store. I was able to order online and pickup at this location.Staff was friendly, but not readily available to answer questions. One can see that this iconic chain is having a hard time.Did not purchase clothing, but those areas of the store looked like they had a wide variety of choices and inventory as compared to hardware area.

Lots of great deals. Great selection. Better than Coles for clothing and shoes. And much better than Home depot for appliances !Shop Sears save it from extinction...

Prices on signage pretty much never are what you pay at register. Just payed extra three dollars for a shirt that was in the correct location (atleast fifty of the same shirt there), that was under huge signage that touted a lower price. More trouble than its worth to argue, so they get away with it

Automotive services are still in place - at least for now. Warranty covered tire services are also unaffected. Abel and his fellow associates are doing their best to be the best. Prompt, courteous setvices at reasonable price. Under the circumstances, this is one part of Sears that has not given up the ghost!

I am really surprised at their clothes and shoes. Far better quality than Walmart or Target. This store is typically almost empty when compared to other mall stores, but it is clean and neat. Has a tire department where you can buy tires and get them changed on your vehicle.

Line was going all the way through the department and no one would come it help the only cashier. We were looking at the diamond sale and the two people I. Jewelery were to busy having a person conversation to acknowledge us. After 10 minutes we walked out without the items we were going to purchase.

The auto center was awesome they repaired our tire, changed our oil and replaced some lights for the tag in the back and did it in no time. The gentleman that helped us at the desk was very nice. Turns out there was a nail in the tire and they repaired it. The only reason I didnt give it five stars was because the woman that we needed help with checking out our clothes with... was too busy and worried more about her sale and getting commission at her jewelry section rather than helping us get checked out and was really nasty about diturbing her. She was a short old lady working w glasses and blue eyes in the front in the jewelry section with dishwater blond hair and glasses. Guess what? She lost my sale. Put the clothes back on the rack.
