Great selection of books, organized, helpful staff! Kind of silly that they dont price-match Amazon, though. I all-too-often end up getting into a book I find there, only to end up ordering it/them on Amazon because its *significantly less*.

Early Saturday, 10:15 am, had the place almost to myself. Doors were open, fresh air sweeping through the store. Purchased a couple of magazines, disappointed they didnt have bags at the Starbucks counter. Purchased a Starbucks coffee, to go...made to order, very hot, perfect!!

I am so glad this B&N didn’t close in the convenient Braintree location. I came early during the week and had my morning coffee which was freshly brewed and delicious. Their heated up breakfast sandwich was good and the quiche delicious. They have a wonderful selection of magazines, books and a kids section. Definitely worth repeat visits.

My whole family has the best experience from my daughter-in-law aged 17 years, my 10 year-old boy to my little one who is 6 years, all of them found a book, not say many books which captivated them. It was very hard to get them of the store!😁😁😁😁😁

Not a big selection in the Gaming section and the Sci-Fi and fantasy, have shrunk considerably since my last visit (prior to 2020). Clerk at check out was friendly and efficient at getting me rung up and on my way.

Loaded with great books for everyone. Kind, helpful staff. Donations taken for books to be donated to Childrens hospital. Great special deals too. Fun place. Plenty of parking. Not crowded at all.

Cant find a better place to get something for everyone, books are unbelievable you most definitely will find want you are looking for, they also have a great toy section not to forget amazing music room with every kind of music related item you could think of..Very helpful and polite staff just a great place to spend some time roaming around looking for that special gift for someone or yourself. If you have never been to a Barnes and Noble I can guarantee if you decide to go you wouldnt be disappointed, you can even get yourself a cup of Joe and something to munch on while reading that book you just got yourself!!!!

Plenty of parking. Customer service desk closed, but associate came over to me in 1-2 minutes. I made sure the book I was looking for was in stock before going to store. The book rang up $3 more than it was listed online. The cashier said it was quite common. They have no problem matching their online price, but you have to ask for them to do it.

Online order pick-up is in the music area at the back of the store and you cannot purchase additional items at that register. Both lines are well managed- I wasnt waiting long in either.

The time I spent in Barnes and noble was about an hour. I would have stayed longer I love this store everyone is so helpful, I was kind of wondering around and z young lady ask it she could possibly help me with something . I gave in and sad yes and right away she brought me over to her computer and found the book that I was wishing to purchase. Love this store ,,,thank you all for being so intuitive to others and being so helpful ,without being over baring 💖

Great place to look for a book and get lost for hours.

Honestly, B&N has been steadily going downhill for ages. They dont have a great selection and would rather order the book from Amazon than give any meaningful help. The removal of all the chairs also changes the feel of the store completely. Only shop here for the new releases if thats your thing otherwise skip the lines and go to Amazon directly.

Horrible visit today, I totally understand limited number of visitors at one time! I absolutely agree everyone wears a face mask! I do not understand why store is only open 7 hours After work I wanted to shop this evening, Store clerk basically yelled at my grand daughter, ‘we close in ten minutes’I have a 12 yo young woman and a 21 yo young man who do not see the point in going to a bookstore so when this visit is cut short by a rude clerk it is going to be a challenge to convince them BN is better than Amazon

Book shelves out front with 50 percent off sale.. this place is way too Brittany true for a book lover and creative writer like myself. . A lot of is the ecology books Dangerously in the self-help workbooks in mindfulness so for it. We also have so many things that I didnt even remember that trust me like chakra readings and enneogram workbooks etc. . Not going to attend the fun little stuff they have at every corner especially at the front like magnetic bookmarks and so forth. Mary Mary play the liked selection of the writing material along with the journals. But they also of different Style diaries that almost speak to you with questions on all different subjects. Memoirs to leave for ur children. Books that if you write a paragraph a day for three years you have covers of now to learn of how you paint a record it. I mean theyre just waiting and everybody is very helpful a lot of sales going on bookstore its more crazy than an independent bookstore but it is such an adventure even just to stop and plan to go back to buy.

I Love Books and this is one of my Favorite chain. bookstores.The staff are attentive when needed, but dont follow you about.Staff are proffessional and know about tech gadgets, ebooks and paper books which are my fave. Audio books are great to listen to on the radio. Overall that are great GREAT!They have a great variety.

Super accommodating staff!! I called them over the phone asking about the availability of a book I had trouble ordering from their other Boston location. Someone answered immediately and stayed on the phone until they found a copy and ensured it was the exact book I was looking for. They then put it on the holding shelf for pick up. They even offered to extend their online discount I had originally gotten before my original online order was cancelled. When I went to pick it up an hour later, the person on the phone recognized me and was friendly.

Great kids section. I actually loved taking my 1.5 year old there. We picked a few books together. Much easier to get books that he might like vs. Taking a guess at Amazon. But still not amazon prices, unfortunately.

They didnt have what we were looking for, but the sales associate was very helpful and looked up the item in the computer. The cashier was also very helpful for item we did purchase. My daughter had a birthday gift card that apparently needed a pin and she was very kind, helpful and made my daughter feel more at ease explaining its happened to her and the card just needs to be activated via the 800 number.

Megastore for book lovers. Contrary to usual belief of it being over expensive - you would be treated with good surprises when you visit. Right discounts at right time helps you shop what you need. During school days you would get school supplies at cheaper rates, during summer breaks comprehensive syllabus books, revision books becomes cheap.A cafe inside the store provides option to have coffee and enjoy reading.They host regular sessions with good authors, which is good to be part of.

I’ve been coming here for over ten years.We buy all of our books for our at home library here. Recently, we purchased a poorly printed Percy Jackson paperback book set.The manager offered to help us exchange for anything legible. We found the same set but it was wrapped up. Then Hannan/an employee who had been working at this location for 10 years had found us a new book set printed by a different company. It was a hardcover set so we will have it for a long time. The book set even had a bonus book!I want to let everyone know that Hannan is amazing and has a phenomenal wealth of knowledge.My kids love her! I love her!She’s efficient and knows her stuff. She shows up, works hard, and is always so helpful.

Prices are very high as is expected with most bookstores. The parking lot is cramped and not level which can make parking a vehicle different. If you can’t find something here, there are several other bookstores nearby. The cafe is good and moderately priced. It offers a good amount of seating and quiet spaces for reading.

The bookstore staff were knowledge and experienced. The prices were reasonable. Has become our new favorite book store, this includes my family members!

Within minutes of looking around, an employee asked if we needed help looking for anything and made suggestions on certain items. Very helpful and friendly staff. Went in looking to buy one book and walked out with 6 books and a toy.

This store has a great deal of both book and gift options. Gift cards are available. I visited close to Christmas and they were wrapping presents which is a lovely bonus. There is a cafe. They used to have more seating throughout but I think the cafe ate it up. There is a customer service counter in the middle which I had to use because I had trouble finding a book.

I know most people order their books online but its good to see theres still a good old-fashioned book store around. This particular Barnes & Noble has a great selection and a varied amount of books at discount prices. They have comfortable sitting chairs and a coffee shop built-in side. I dont get up this area that often but when I do I always make it a point to swing by here.

Bookstores with real vs electronic books are my favorite places. Friendly, helpful staff. Great variety of literature, journals, stationary in paraphernalia, from which to choose. The store will order an item for you, if it is not yet in print or if it is not in stock.

This is the store to shop for,books, music,childrens books-activities-and toys. They have a great cafe with much to choose from. One of my favorite stores. I definitely would recommend Barnes and noble to anyone at any age.

Visited the cafe only and the lovely young lady in the picture made us the best drinks! I got an iced latte with skim milk and a splash of cream... Best one Ive had in a while☺ my daughter was unsure and was recommended the strawberry refresher...delish!!

The cafe is a great place to study. It would be an even better study spot with more power outlets.

Great selection and hours, but no chairs to sit while browsing. Not looking to real a novel at the store, but as a middle-aged woman with purchasing power, I expect to be able to sit and peruse before purchasing. People come to a brick & mortar store for experience. Add chairs!
