So completely disappointed with a customer service at the store. In February my husband and I went in to purchase a washing machine. I asked about delivery and they said if I applied for a Sesrs credit card, I would get so much off my delivery and a $50 gift card. So I did this. A few weeks later my husband and I went in and bought a refrigerator, again wanting the discounted delivery my husband opened an account again was promised a $50 gift card. About a month goes by and I called Sears because I haven’t gotten my card yet they have me call the credit card company. Apparently my credit cards and my husbands credit card was sent to an address we hadn’t been in for years. By the time they canceled those credit cards and sent us the correct cards, the payment was due on the day we received the cards.Although our appliances were delivered to the correct Address. At that time I inquired about our two $50 gift cards and was given the runaround for months. I called the series store talk to their manager, I had to go back-and-forth between the credit card company. Finally I gave up, this is now almost July and I had given up completely on these gift cards. Finally a district manager called me from somewhere I don’t even know if it was from Sears or the credit card company and they gave me and my husband each a $50 credit on our credit card. So almost 5 months later, it’s taken care of. I’m sorry but a credit on my credit card is not what I want it, I wanted to $50 gift cards. And I told him from the beginning that I’m sure the gift cards were sent to our old address where our credit cards were sent, (by the way, this is what happened and whoever was at that address spent them) and I was given the runaround so many times in so many different ways. It’s pretty sad because Sears used to be a staple when I was a kid and a store that you can really count on and depend on. It’s unfortunate that their customer service is lacking today and they choose to use such a Dysfunctional credit card Company for their customers.. You blew it Brainerd Sears, you lost a customer

I tried to order a $9.99 Black Friday deal for a socket set. Website would only go to a $14.99 version of the same thing. I tried multiple different zip codes thinking that may be an issue, which nothing I did allowed me to get the black Friday deal online. Ended up just purchasing the set for $14.99 and am super upset at my experience. I will not be attempting to shop at Sears Hometown online again, I will be going to Amazon.The website itself is not user friendly. Home Depot and Menards are much better developed.

Awesome experience. Definitely going back there. Went in to look at vacuums as I needed a part for my vacuum before tomorrow. He didnt have the part I needed for sale new but he found a used part and he just gave it to me free. He could have pushed a new vacuum on me.

They were super helpful and have a good selection of appliances. They had to order what I needed, so had a wait on delivery. But they are very polite and knowledgeable about what they sell. Third party financing available, and really easy to set up.

People were friendly but per the reason of Sears failing ,when you need something like a multching cover for a standard Sears rider 46 inch deck you have to bring every night. And you can do it on line.
