Okay so a few screws in my mulch no biggie. People make it sound like its all screws and a piece of mulch. Thats an exaggeration. The Mulch is nice. Good quality. Delivery was smooth and the gentleman put it right where I needed it. Even carried a bag of rocks for me. I will order from here every year. And the price is right. The kinds of prices you pay up north. 2 yd delivered for $75. Not $250 like the rest of those Jokers want!

Big Earth is a gem. I bought some bulk top soil and the loader operator was able to load it into my small truck bed with no spillage. That guy is magician.

Big Earth is a beautiful nursery. They standout with their sign which makes it easy to find. I see it everyday when I work for my clients in that area. They have a big selection which is nice and easy to look through My! My only draw back is they arent very forgiving if you are a newer landscaper. I am slowly growing my encyclopedia of plants but Im just starting. I cant say for all the workers but one employee made sure I knew I was illiterate..... also sorry to Big Earth for posting a review on their site for another company. I hit so many places in my day that I shouldve read the name closer.

We bought sod there and gave been happy with it. I also bought some large aqua colored glass rocks the other day and they are beautiful!

This sod purchase was by far the worst. If I could leave no stars I would. I had purchased sod here before and was pleased but I received a pallet of Bahia today and I noticed the dirt was sub-par to begin with but went ahead with it. Top portion of pallet, upside down pieces, dry, dead, and all falling apart, gave it benefit of doubt and continued on in hopes of improvement. No improvement, ya know when you have dead grass and the root systems are dead it will not hold the soil together. So I called and asked to exchange what was left, because it is that bad. What I received on the phone was, well when we have so much rain it does that. Really?? this pallet has not seen water in a long time evidently, totally dry! Must have been stored somewhere. And I told him that. Then said Bahia will come back. I know that, when the roots are still good! But these roots are not alive, totally dead. And I told them the root systems would hold the dirt if they were alive and what he told me.. they dont have a root system FOR REAL??? ya know what I will never give my business to them again. The best advice I have for you is to pull a few off of the top before you buy it. If it starts falling apart, like crumbling in your hands run, go somewhere else. Maybe dont even go there to begin with :) They should NOT have sold that. I know I would not have because I care about the quality of my business. I guess they just care about their wallet. Shame on them, and shame on the idiotic explanations I received. I couldnt believe it. He was just squirming away... sickens me... no attempt to resolve the problem, just sorry about your luck. It was bad of them to let that go out the door to begin with.In response to the reply they left... I do not appreciate threats to my values and what kind of person I am. Your quote I can assure you, that if you are honest, you will change your one star rating to five stars in about 30 days Ummm I dont think so. (this is what type of person im dealing with) That sod should have not even left the truck. I am fully aware of Bahia and how they grow it. But you can not hide the fact that the cuts were bad, no soil, and dead roots, sorry but dead roots do not come back, the neighboring live roots do. It will take a very long time for this to fill in. Should have gotten seed...

Hi. We were referred by our local landscape company for a source for quality Floro-tam St Augustine full sun sod turf. That co used Big Earth exclusively for sod. I went to Big Earhs website & noted how easy it was to find the sod we were told to get, clear pricing & delivery options & very easy ordering. Within a few minutes i knew exactly what i was getting & what day it would be delivered. This was a super designed website & very user friendly! Pricing was way better than the big box stores. Delivery was as expected & very professional. My only complaint was i never knew what approx time my delivery of sod would arrive? It would have been nice to know a time window. Btw, my sod was delivered by 9:30 am which was just perfect. Its growing nicely. Thanks!

Staff personnel really nice. This place is your go to store for landscaping needs. A great variety of selections.They would have received 5 stars with the exception of the crushed rock delivery. Im creating a foundation base of crushed rock for an outdoor shed to be installed. I had flags out marking the corner dimensions of the shed. The delivery guy did not call nor ring my doorbell upon his arrival and took it upon himself to dump the load based on the very generalized map I provided to BE. I wanted to pinpoint the specific dump area as to minimize my work in spreading out the rock for the pad. The logical spot to dump the load would have been in the middle of the proposed pad. Instead, he dumped it (2 cu. yds.) right next to my house and now I have to shovel the entire load over to the proposed pad area! I could have easily grated it down if it were to have been dumped in the middle of the pad area! Im NOT a happy camper!
