We are very grateful to find Custom Carts through the manager in our community. Marci in service was very helpful and knowledgeable about our Club Car cart and she got our service call setup quickly. They didnt try to sell us anything that we didnt already know that we needed.They came to the house and the service tech, Jake, was very knowledgeable and thorough and got most of our items repaired at our home. Just wanted to share my awesome experience with a top notch golf cart dealership. Brandon my salesman went above and beyond regarding the order purchase of a new Star Sirius 6 passenger. He stayed in contact with me through my decision making process and gave me an education on the benefits of Lithium battery power. I made a visit to the facility today to order my golf cart. I met Brandon in person and was given a dealership tour by Dan and Brandon giving me the confidence to make the order. Lastly I had owner and head guy Kurt personally introduce himself to me even though he was busy took the time which impressed me.If anyone is on the fence on where to buy a golf cart with confidence this is the place no doubt. Came here from quite far away since they said they could do what i needed. got there and they said the opposite and tried to sell me 4 new tires with rims. beware of the bait and switch, customer service isn’t great either.

The company came to University Park country club to look at our cart and our cart charger because our cart was not charging. The man who comes to University Park to look at the carts indicated that he would have to take the cart back to the shop. Because we were not aware that the cart was going to be taken off site,we had not removed some personal property that was in the cart including a brace for an ankle, several towels, and most importantly a jacket from Pebble Beach. When the cart was returned, it still didn’t work, The wrong charger was returned, and all of our personal property was missing. I talked to the service department, I talked to the woman who answers the phone, I left a message on the answering machine, and I talked to the man who attempted to fix the charger and the cart and told them about the missing property. I was told they didn’t know what happened to the property, that they would look for it and they would make sure to let me know and deal with it in a way to make me whole. That was three weeks ago and I’ve heard nothing from anybody at Custom Carts since then. At the time, the correct charger was returned and the car charged for a couple weeks but nothing was done about the missing property and now the cart doesn’t charge again and my property is still missing. I am not sure how a company can continue to function with these results and treatment of its customers.UpdateAfter reading this review, Custom Carts did call me and attempt to explain what might have happened and that they wanted to make me happy and somehow deal with this issue. Unfortunately my cart is not working and my property is still missing but I do give them credit for making the effort to finally address the issue. And because of past experiences with Custom Carts where everything has gone smoothly, I have raised the review to a three star. We will try other providers however before returning

My golf cart stopped working last week, so i called Custom Carts! Within a week, they picked up my cart, fixed it (bad speed sensor), and dropped it back off, all for just $200! Very Happy! Thank You!

Great experience! I went to Custom Carts for repairs on my cart and to take a look at getting a new one. The service was absolutely fantastic! The repairs were done quick and were fairly priced. The facility, staff, inventory, and service were all great! If you are in the market for a new cart or just need a repair I would highly recommend them.

The St Joseph Food Pantry has a golf cart that is used to help process food for unemployed, underemployed, homeless, and low income families in Manatee County. To be without this is a hardship for us. We purchased golf cart batteries from another vendor who ended up not supporting us in our valid warranty claim with one of the batteries. Custom Carts stepped up and not only honored the warranty, but did it promptly. We will never go anywhere else. Their prices were competitive and their service is exceptional! We highly recommend them.

I called this place six weeks ago to reserve a cart to rent for two weeks. I called the lady every week , just once per week , for six weeks and on the day the cart was going to be delivered I received a call from her saying that she had bad news and that the people that had the cart were extending there lease . So I got screwed. Now with one day left I have to try and find one for rent . Bad customer service!!!!!!! Wouldn’t buy the last thing on earth from these people

A big Thank You to Adam and Vince in the parts department for going the extra mile in making my Doorworks enclosure fit perfectly. When i ordered the enclosure for my custom cart i was assured that it would be custom made and i would install it. It would normally take 3 to 4 hours to install. After working on it for 4 hours and not being able to get it to fit properly, I stopped in the parts Dept. and spoke with Vince And Adam and explained the issues. They told me they would send a truck out to pick up my cart and evaluate the problem. They not only evaluated the problem but hand made parts to make the enclosure fit correctly. These guys really know what customer service is all about. They delivered the cart back to me with every detail worked out. I live in a park with 300 homes and will never shop anywhere else when it comes to cart needs. I will also encourage anyone else in the park to shop at Custom Carts Sarasota. THANKS
