It ok, fruits, veggies good. actually not much to say overall a good grocery store. some better. some not.

My goto grocery store when we go to Florida. Awesome selection, easy to navigate, and good pricing. Staff is always very friendly. Surprisingly good selection of beer to pick from. Definitely recommend.

Great store if you are in a pinch. Other than that you should go to the Publix off the island for better prices and selection. This location has some good beach/pool toys and they are much better priced than some on AMI.

Generally broad if mundane selection. Fresh produce well laid out in a spacious environment. High prices though especially as compared to nearby Walmart.

My first time in a public I was impressed with the store they had meals for single people and families. I liked the produce dept. All in all a good experience Ill be back...

It was fine. I still like the one on Cortez and 43rd street better.

Best Publix in Manatee county. Very clean. Easy to find stuff. And ALL the employees are all respectful and eager to help unlike the publix employees at Cortez and 14th.

I have shopped this store for a number of years and they consistently have a difficult time keeping certain products on the shelves. Seems like with computer programs and competent managers it might run better. There have also been times when I have asked for certain items to be order, staff has taken my number and told me I would get a promised call back only to never receive a call!

This Publix is in a great location and had everything that I needed.

Poor customer service refused to help me with an item I couldnt find because there wasnt a picture of it. Was rude and told me they didnt know where it was and I felt very dismissed and this was by a manager 😡😡. Not happy with this Publix location

Typical Publix, which means there is a wide selection of healthy, tasty foods, good customer service (because they treat their employees better than most supermarket chains) and a cleanly appearance. The major disadvantage is Publix tends to be expensive. Overall an above average supermarket chain.

I have been a LOYAL customer of this Publix for the last 25 years. Every Friday, I leave work go in to the store and shop for my family. I have especially enjoyed the meat department. They have exceptional, pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful personnel. Unfortunately, when I went there yesterday to buy meat for visiting family, I was horribly disappointed with the new arrangement that corporate Publix has instituted. Gone is the full service meat counter. Gone is the personal service. Gone is my ability to CHOOSE between many different cuts of meat. Instead, there is now a refrigerated case containing pre-made meals. When I complained to the store manager, he informed me that this is a corporate decision. He went on to tell me that the majority of their customers WANTED this change. To appease me, he said that they still could cut meat custom for me...although there would be a long wait. His explanation was hogwash! There is no possible way that the majority of Publix meat customers WANTED to do away with the full serve counter! If there are many customers who desire pre-made meals...FINE....put the damned case somewhere else in the store. I do NOT want to have to wait for a short-staffed meat department to custom cut a piece of meat that I cant SEE in the first place and rely on the butchers judgment as to what I prefer. I do not want to waste my time taking a pack of steaks to the counter and have them break the package when I just want ONE tenderloin. I want the CHOICE of porterhouses in the case...being able to compare them with others. I WANT the wonderful banter with the butchers...the ones who KNOW me and can anticipate EXACTLY what I want. I have put up with your high prices for years...BECAUSE I love the way your meat department has been arranged. What has set PUBLIX apart from other supermarkets has been their down-home customer service. Your founder, George Jenkins, would NOT be pleased with this disturbing trend. You have LOST a customer at this Publix store. I left, empty handed...disgusted and went down the road to The Chop Shop. I was willing to pay MORE for the meat there, due to them having a full-service butcher counter. There is another PUBLIX nearer my home (Lockwood Commons..East Bradenton.) so far, they still have a full service butcher counter. They HAVE informed me, however that they will be changing also. When that happens....I will stop shopping at Publix altogether. I have no use for a store that has such little regard for the personal touch. Im sorry that youve gone this route. I hope you rethink this awful move.

I take my 87 yr old mom to this Publix because they have a bigger variety of TV dinners that she loves, plus the salad bar is one of her favorite treats and of course fried chicken! Their electric scooters are always fully charged

Clean store with lots of options. I really think though all of the stores in Bradenton lack organic, gluten free, and non soy options. Im not vegan but actual healthier alternatives are always a plus

Update as of 07-15-21 this publix has self checkout machines. While some might fine this as an added benefit.It doesnt exactly seem they have the flow of cashiers and self checkout worked out yet. So it feels a bit cumbersome at times since they do not seem to know how many cashiers to have part of the time. Also seems they are not passing the culture on to newer associates.

It is just another publix. This one is very clean and organized. Great service. They are social distancing and wearing masks.

Your staff are always courteous and kind whether its an upcoming hurricane or this unforcene pandamic-the staff is stellar! The Publix in Wilmington Island, GA, was my favorite place to shop for groceries. Sales items were prominently displayed and I rarely found items sold out. The staff all greeted me and acted like they really liked their jobs.The Beachway Plaza isnt quite like that. I am greeted but in a perfunctory way and I routinely find the aisles blocked by stockers or staff who appear to be in training and to whom Im invisible. Neither of those things bothers me too much but heres what does: consistently finding items on sale not marked on sale and/or not ringing up on sale. Granted the sales clerk always corrects the problem but I dont like having to check on the price and pull out my printed list and holding up the line while the issue is resolved.I also do not find their bakery items to be as good as what Im used to. Since Im sure they are following standardized recipes, it might be that the quality of desserts and breads at all Publix is decreasing. Just as well because I need to cut back on carbohydrates.Ill continue to shop here but Ill have to play a more active role in checking prices.Addendum: Today is Christmas Eve. The store is full of shoppers and there are a half dozen people in each of the three open checkouts. I asked that they open a quick checkout lane but they didnt.

Clean store, good amount of registers were open and available. The deli/sub area could have been quicker.

Publix is over all good about keeping up to date.Always check expire dates.

Great place to shop, fresh fruit and vegetables, bakery is outstanding.

I come here so many times for the deli and order online so you know..so you dont have to wait in the line which is the point of ordering online and everytime i come in (the last 3 times) its never been ready when i come in. How does that happen? Its slow and 3 online tickets are just sitting there not even mine, i usually dont care cause its not a big deal but its been 3 times in a row and once or twice before in the past

Excellent service. The cashier went out of her way to find a coupon I had missed in the paper. She had to look in her drawer to find it. I appreciated the extra service.

I was disappointed to find the butcher section no longer has a display case and also claiming that the machine wasnt working right for getting the cut I was after, guess I will just have to go somewhere else now.

What an amazing grocery store. A great selection of quality products that everyone enjoys, especially during holidays and social events. Even better when what you want is a BOGO sale special. I especially love the fresh made subs in the deli, the best in town. The only downside is that unless you are incredibly lucky, dont plan to park anywhere near the store as the parking lot is usually full during busy times. Park by KMART and walk a bit, it is worth it.

Always a pleasure shopping here. Aisles are stocked. Employees offer help & suggestions. Checkout is quick. I often find new items on the shelves that appeal to my taste, just a little different than what Im used to. This is a well run store:)

By one get one free is an insult to anyone and thier smarts. Buy one get one free but the price is jacked so far up they aint losing as much. Other stores do the same. ✌

I always shop this location. It seems to be a little smaller than many of the other Publix Stores in the area, but has the same quality as the larger stores any always plenty of help. Produce is always fresh. Thats my biggest reason on top of it being a little smaller for shopping here. I have mobility issues and can usually hide them while shopping this store , so this is the perfect store for me. Extra bonus is a Publix Liquor store, next door. Its a one stop shop.

Were shopping only goes under pressure. Not sharing American core values any longer. Will avoid. Bad Corp decisions

Its Publix!I expect it to be clean, have sufficient inventory turns (especially in produce) and have staff that are willing to help.This Publix has all of these things as expected.We have been doing grocery shopping here for some time and they do have all of the basics. I dont usually buy meat here with the Chop Shop just down the road.The bakery here is really good.

Good ambiance and most importantly,.a clean place. Cash Register professionals always have a kind smile when they greet you. In regards to ethnic food, wish they had a greater selection. Heard once the green plantains turn yellow, they are thrown out. This to me is outrageous because thats when they are more delicious! Its a delicacy for many people.

Awful service and I cannot stress that enough.. AWFUL. The integrity of these Publix employees at this specific location is disgusting and I just cancelled my entire transaction because the cashier couldn’t scan a simple legit coupon without making me feel like I was the devil for having them in the first place. You get an immediate attitude if you have coupons and the three other Publix’s in my area never have an issue EVER with it EVER. I get my savings and great customer service at every single other Publix and not to mention this one in particular always seemed very understaffed with only a couple of lanes open when people are lined up almost to the front door. I just went through with the same exact transaction with the same exact coupons at the Publix down the road and was treated wonderfully and got my food and savings :). Moral of the story, me and my many Publix shoppers won’t be going to this location anymore and that’s a lot of people.

Most people complain, Im not most people. I had superior service in the floral department with Belinda. She provided excellent information for the flowers we were seeking to purchase in a bouquet and for centerpieces. She went out of her way to satisfy our every request. I cannot say enough about her knowledge and the quality of her talent with flowers and arrangements. Thank you for all you did to make our event so memorable. Always stocked on everything I need but the front end could really use some help on making the customer feel welcomed and not a burden to their day.

The Publix at Beachway Plaza is one of the smaller stores. The selection is good but sometimes they are out of main stream products. The employees are very friendly and will go out of their way to be helpful.

I just wanna give a big shout out to Katie the Manager from Customer Service. Todays Mothers Day 5 10 2020. The money order machine was down and she was very friendly helpful Professional courteous and accurate. She advised me that the machine would be fixed within the hour and when I called sure enough it was. I came in and got my 2 greeting cards saved by Katie behind the customer service desk and my money order and Katie apologized for the inconvenience. Overall very satisfied with the results and the professionalism and excellent customer service skills from Miss Katie Thank You and God Bless!!!

Nice and convenient place to shop! It is a little smaller than some Publix but it does a descent selection. Cant go wrong with a pub sub, or the soup currently my favorite is on Monday Lobster bisque.

Horrible deli at this location! Ordered two subs online and went to pick them up at the time I requested but they weren’t even ready. The guy there said they didn’t have the bread we ordered and tried to call, but I never got a call. He ran around to get what he needed to make the two subs while complaining about having to make them and saying how horrible one of the subs was. Should have walked away then. After waiting for 20 minuets for my order I get home and he didn’t even make them correctly. I order a chicken tender sub with lettuce, peppers, mayo and honey mustered and only got chicken tenders smothered in nothing but honey mustard on soggy bread, which didn’t even look appetizing. What a waste of money and time! Will not getting subs here again. So much for Publix being know for their subs! Ha!
