Hello people that need some quality mechanic work done but are trying to find someone to trust and are reasonably priced. I am a mechanic myself but didnt have the tools to do it myself. I needed suspension, transmission and A/C work on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Im old school with values and morals and its hard nowadays to find that in anyone, especially a mechanic. Let me tell you, Dan the owner is the man. I had 7000k worth of work done and my Jeep is as it was 40,000k new. Dan and his wife treat you with respect and if you do the same, everyone wins. Immediately when I walked in I was met with someone courteous at the front desk. I know a bit about what I need to hear from a mechanic to be reassured he is honest. They checked my transmission fluid level on a sealed unit for my tundra and he was honest and said the level was good and then gave me honest opinions about other stuff I needed done that I myself already knew about. Ive had a favorable experience with them on a variety of auto repair items ranging from brakes to chasing down oil leaks and rebuilding a transmission on my 2013 Suburban. It now has 210,000 miles on it and theyve helped me nurse her along for a while now. Estimates are pretty accurate and if they find surprises along the way Dan is more than fair and equitable in addressing them reasonably. They are pretty prompt and good with communication as well. So far so good!!!

Very professional staff, fast service, pricey but good work

Ive been there for a couple of different transmission rebuilds, both very successful. My Ford Super Duty F-250 7.3L never shifted properly until after Dan was finished rebuilding it. My most recent visit was because it was smoking white/blue smoke. After a couple of bad computer replacements and 1 very bad turbo charger, it no longer smokes and run great. Thanks again to Dan and his crew, Im on the road again.Update: I had a small problem with the torque converter moving in-and-out of lockout mode, It wasnt until after Roberto took it for a long test drive with his diagnostic computer in line, and said he thought it may be a problem with the break light switch, that I remembered that, I did change out the old switch, and that since that day it has had a problem with the torque convertor and the lockout mode. I gave him the old switch, and after changing it out, the Lockout Mode works perfect. GOOD JOB!!!Thanks again for taking the time needed to figure this out.

My sons truck had lubricant leaking out of the rear end. So I saw his shop as I was driving by and decided to stop and possibly get a quote. He was very professional and came across as an honest man. After talking with him I went home to check into his company, finding his business website and reading his reviews. To be honest I was a little concerned of a couple of recent reviews but decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and took my sons truck to him for repair. He gave me a quote for the repair and later that day he called me because the damage was worse than we thought. He asked if I would come in and see the damage myself, which did make me feel more comfortable taking my sons truck to him and he did not do the job and try to charge me more than we agreed on without talking to me first. So after I saw the damage to the rear end he told me what needed to be done to fix it the right way. He went over and above expectations and finished the truck faster than I expected and had the old parts out for me to look at. In conclusion, for whomever is reading this review, do not pay any mind to those few that are bashing him in the review section and give him a chance! I will continue to do business with him and also will not hesitate to refer friends, family, and strangers to him!!! Thank you for your professionally and remarkable repairs.

Toyota dealership wanted to put a brand new transmission in my Daughters Rav4, Dan and his mechanics found nothing wrong with the transmission, but rather worn wheel bearings and brakes. Enough cannot be said about Dan and the guys at USA Transmission. Brought my wifes car in after another shop totally failed to fix the issue and made matters worse and Dan and his mechanics really did an incredible job. Had a slight issue after the repair was done, brought it back in and Dan made it right at no additional charge. I recommend them highly and will most certainly go back again!

Charged me a $100 to diagnose my jeep. However they didnt drive it or even open the hood. Told me the torque convertor needed replaced and transmission rebuilt. $3400. Well took it to Aamco 301 in Sarasota. They spent hour and half driving scanning my jeep. Checked fluid etc. Said the torque converter and transmission fine. Did not charge me a dime.

THIS is the only place you should get your car serviced!I went to another local business and they told me I needed a new transmission. I came to USA for a second opinion and it turned out I didnt need a new one after all! That alone saved me $2500.00! I did end up needing new wheel bearings in the rear(that was the sound I heard), new front brakes, a recommended transmission service ( both by USA and a friends hubby) and an oil change. It still saved me $1500.00! They are fair, honest, reasonable and fast! They have a customer for life now and I am so happy! Trust them, they are very good!

The owner Dan is as honest as they come! He is straight forward with what your solutions are. I had to have my transmission rebuilt - and I am happy I had them do it. I have found an honest full auto repair and maintenance shop for all my needs going forward. As a side note, I had an engine replaced in my Jeep a year and half ago at the local Jeep dealer - spent an arm and a leg - only to find out while having my transmission replaced here that they left out 3 bell housing bolts. Don’t go anywhere else - USA has your back without bending you over

My Saturn Vue had transmission problem, I call several transmission shops before calling USA transmission and did not feel comfortable with the responses i was getting. When Dan at USA transmission answered the phone he was very professional and made me feel he know what he was talking about. He quoted me a reasonable price. I brought my car to him. They fixed my car on time and for exactly what he quoted me. I am very impressed with Dan and his staff.

I stopped in the USA Transmission shop to get a estimate on my Cadillac the transmission was not shifting as smooth as it use to, my first though was on no there gos $ 3000.00 but to my surprise Dan took it for a test drive and told me that in good conscience he did not feel that it needed a new one he suggested that we change the fluid and replace the filter and he was rite the car shifts just like new again the car is12 yrs old but because of his honesty he fixed me up and saved me thousands thank you....

I took my gold Dodge Ram 2500 truck in to have the transmission rebuilt. I had problems with the rebuilt transmission from the first week I got my truck back. It took me a few days to be able to get it back to them because of work. I took it in to them a couple times but the problem wasnt solved. Then I got busy and just drove it the way it was. Finally, I was able to get it back to them, about a year later. They remembered both me and my truck and assured me it would be fixed correctly. They did exactly what they said. I am so impressed with both the way my truck runs now and the service I continued to receive from this shop throughout the problem solving process. They have a customer for life and I will continue to recommend them to all my friends.

Brought in my 2005 Honda Element because there was a shift delay. They could have told me I needed a new transmission and I wouldnt have known the difference, but it was a simpler, much less expensive problem. Service was fast, honest, and effective. Definitely recommended!

Newcomer to Bradenton and took our car in for turn signal problem. We needed it fixed right away as we were travelling the next day. They were extemely polite and efficient. Even though the shop was full of cars and trucks they took the time to help me. They found a defective bulb, changed it and charged me only $10!I had been to two other garages and they wanted me to leave the car for the day and they would give me an estimate. The USA people are very honest and kind. I will return for everything our car needs and highly recommend them to friends.

HONEST, AFFORDABLE, KNOWLEDGEABLE 🚛🚗😀 I recently purchased a 2005 Nissan Altima and have never had any issues , but all of a sudden my car just shut off. Thinking it may be the battery AAA came out and ran a battery test . Despite the battery only being a year old , they insisted it needed a new battery. $141 later for a new battery and five minutes later feeling frustrated my car was dead again. So I found myself looking for reputable and trustworthy mechanic . Ive known Kim and Dan for years , as Dan was the DM for Firestone for many years and is very knowledgeable about cars. He and his wife recently relocated back to this area and are extremely honest and trustworthy people. I contacted them for an estimate and he called me the same day , stating that I needed a new crank shaft , and cam shaft sensors , a sylinoid and an oil change . He was very understanding of my financial situation and was very generous with the cost of labor.I compared his price to those in the area and his was well below those of several other mechanics. Best of all, he finished my car by the next day!As someone who drives long distances i also really appreciate that their shop is NAPPA certified , so that if anything should happen to my vehicle in another town, or state , I can take my car into another NAPPA approved shop and it will be covered under my warranty.I can feel confident that when I take my vehicle to Dan , he will provide quality work and stands behind his name .He is knowledgeable about everything from transmissions to oil changes. I highly recommend anyone looking for a trustworthy and honest mechanic to give Dan a try!

Super great service! The a/c in my car stopped working one afternoon and i needed to drive out to miami the next day. Panicked, i called usa transmission and they got me in immediately to take a look. 5 minutes later he comes back and tells me it was just a bad connection in the wires, they took care of it and i was out the door free of charge! They have the worst attitude if you choose not to do business with them again. Purchased shocks for my vehicles and they went bad within 20,000 miles. Have a warranty on them but because i dont want them to replace them man hangs up phone in my face. I would rather repurchase them somewhere else than to go back to them.
