Gettel of Lakewodd Ranch has always given great service. The staff there is always so courteous and friendly, particularly referring to my service advisor, Karl Gardner and the service greeter, Greg. I always have the impression they really care about me and not just getting me in and out as soon as possible. In this world today many businesses have staff that are stressed out because of being short handed, but not so with Gettel. Their focus is their customers needs and it is refreshing!

Kelby was my advisor and from the beginning of the visit to the end, her customer service and expertise were top-level. I’ve generally had good experiences at Toyota dealers for maintenance service, but this experience was exceptional and I’ll definitely be returning here for my future needs. The mechanics worked quickly and efficiently and when I got my car back it was in great shape. I waited for about half the time I’ve waited in the past. Also, the customer service waiting-area was clean and attractive.

I just bought my new 2022 Toyota Sienna Limited last week and couldnt be happier! Greg Smith was my sales associate and he made it the best car buying experience Ive ever had. I had been looking for a new Sienna for over 3 months and put my name out to numerous dealerships, all of which gave me the runaround. Once we picked the vehicle that checked all the boxes of needs and wants he turned me over to the finance department. If you’re looking for a new (or used) Toyota, stop in and see Brian MacNeel. He was our salesman and took great care of us when we were looking for a new Highlander. I originally went in to have my Camry serviced and was interested in the Highlander. Due to the car shortage there was very little stock available but luck would have it that the Highlander with the trim package that I had in mind arrived that morning. I was recommended by a Director and the CEO at my work because they have both bought several cars through Gettel and promised they would take good care of me. When I arrived at my appointment, I was greeted by everyone who walked by and was offered help whenever it appeared I was waiting.I was fortunate enough to work with Ryan, the General Manager and Luigi a Sales Specialist. Both of them had the same personable, helpful, honest, no pressure attitude that made me feel comfortable and valued. They answered all of my questions completely and without judgement. They provided me with several cars I was interested in and it was very difficult to decide between the good deals I was offered. Again, the allowed me sufficient time to make my decision because they wanted me to be happy with my purchase. It turns out the exact car I was looking for was traded on Memorial Day, and they were able to get it ready for me the next day when it wasnt even available in their inventory yet! On my test drive, Luigi explained all of the cars features to me so that when I was ready to take it home, I was knowledgeable about all of the safety and other features.I wasnt sure I was ready to buy a car yet because I had negative equity in the car I was in. They were understanding of my situation and were able to offer me a financing plan that met all of my requirements. They gave me over KBB for my trade-in and under KBB for the purchase price of the used Rav4. They handed me off to Jack in financing to purchase the car, and he was amazing as well. He really explained everything thoroughly, but also without wasting my time when I was excited to seal the deal and leave with my new car! I was very impressed at the technology used for signing the paperwork...it was extremely quick and easy. They offered me a warranty package I couldnt refuse to keep me safe and on the road longer. At the end of my purchase I even took a picture of the rainbow that appeared over the dealership and joked that it was a sign that this was the destined place to buy my car!This was the best used car buying experience I have had in the over 10 cars I have purchased. I purchased a used Toyota venza from here a few months ago. There were a couple of things I had an issue with and my sales rep told me he would fix them before giving me the car. After getting the car and realizing that they were not fixed I tried to contact him multiple times leaving messages. Never responded back to me. This is not the first time Ive had issues with this dealership but thought I would give them a second try. I guess some people dont deserve a second chance. They have lost my business for good.

Very slow service and unfriendly staff. I was told it will take 2 hours without appointment. I waited in my car for 45 min just for someone to take my information. Took over 3 hours to get the service done which is a general maintenance 10k miles, oil change and tire rotation. I usually get my service in sarasota even though i live in bradenton since their service is more efficient and customer friendly. Saw several advisor sitting in chair and chatting with other advisor. I thought it would save me time since I am in the area I was wrong. I understand I don’t have appointment but pls don’t promise a time frame where can’t be met. This is where sarasota toyota exceed because they are honest when it comes how busy they are and good at giving the how long is the wait. I have been doing my service here in lakewood toyota when I had my new scion and had some problems with their services won’t go to details since it will take long paragraph. Now I upgraded to a tacoma I won’t come here anymore.

Be sure to look at everything before buying your Toyota and leaving the dealership. When they add a bunch of add-on that cost a lot of money and dont even have them on their vehicle its really sad : /

When i called service they said about a week out then transferred me to service rep no answer left message i didnt get a call back that day.
