I LOVE bagels! I don’t understand why my bagel sandwich is never hot when it’s handed to me! For months it’s never changed but we don’t have another bagel shop in town so…

One of the few places left in Bozeman where you can get a decent sandwich for a fair price; their New York-style bagels aint half bad either! Definitely worth your patronage! Tip them generously!

I’ve been going to Bagel Works for about 20 years. I’ve always loved the bagels. Unfortunately the place has gotten really dirty. The grease on the ceiling is almost dripping. The floors look like dirt floors.It really needs a deep clean. Let me know when that happens. I’m be looking forward to coming back.

I used to love this place got bagels all the time here, but they’ve had a horrible decline in quality. Last time I was here I noticed a lot of kitchen practices that were not clean, and not in a covid sense. I mean hands touching the floor and going right back to food. Especially coming from their grill cook. Wouldn’t eat here if you don’t want food poisoning. Took over half an hour for bagel with an egg with very few other people in there. Just makes me sad to see such a steep decline in quality.

Went in on March 5,2021 and let me tell you. These guys are the best. Super funny and just all around hard working people. I love bagel works and I will always come back. Keep up the hard work Guys. You are killing it!

I got a jumbled up mess of 2 bagels...I told them about it... because this is the 2nd time they messed up my order...then refused to fix it...they actually told me the cook and the order taker girl....*why do you keep coming here if we always mess up your order? I wouldnt* I just stared at them and left. Sooo disappointed in this once amazing place 😔

This establishment keeps our local kids working hard. Fantastic establishment with well crafted food. Not bad prices either. Thanks to the owner for keeping our community strong with young hard workers. Did I mention the food is delicious?

The bagel was alright, but not quite what I ordered. Instead of sausage and an extra egg with provolone on Asiago, I got egg and provolone with extra ham on Asiago. I personally would also toast the bagel.

Ordered 2 bagels with just cream cheese and one with sausage and then sat for 10 minutes and watched the 4 people in line behind me get there whole breakfast sandwich before me. Didnt realize it took so long to spread cream cheese on a bagel

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Used to be a home town favorite, we used to eat here multiple times a week. The service has gone straight down hill. The cleanliness has gone out the window. The young, unprofessional people working behind the counter are so disrespectful and rude it’s really sad. The cleanliness is so bad that you can feel the sticky floors and grime when you walk in the door. Sorry bagel works but you won’t be seeing us anymore!

A true classic. Inexpensive, yet delicious. Bagels are baked fresh every morning. The cream cheese variety is just right. The combinations are endless. Even during 2020 with the insane amount of call-in orders, they were quick with my order. A true Bozeman staple and its easy to see why.

This place used to be amazing, but I have had nothing but bad experiences lately. In the past 8 times I’ve picked up orders, 4 of them were completely wrong, and I’m yet to call in where they actually make my order ahead instead of “losing” it or something ahead of time.Just today I ordered 2 bagels with cream cheese and a half dozen bagels. I got 2 bagels that were not what I ordered, with cream cheese that was ALSO NOT WHAT I ORDERED. Normally I’d chalk this up to a mixup with my order or someone else’s, but today was one of those “oh we lost your order” days and I looked the guy in the face, told him what I wanted, and he turned around an proceeded to make me the wrong thing. I’d highly suggest checking everything you’ve ordered before leaving.

Their bagels are not gonna knock your socks off but they’re pretty good.Their bagels are small to medium sized with pretty good flavor and a variety of cream cheese options.3/5 stars because I ordered a half dozen and they said I was getting 7 bagels. I thought this was a bit strange but I went ahead and picked out my 7 bagels. I received 6 bagels.

The best REAL bagels around. Boiled and baked to perfection. Lots of flavor choices and yummy cream cheese options. The salt bagels are heaven.

Despite the delicious bagel the customer service was absolutely horrendous my baby a little girl with the blond and black ponytail was so disrespectful to the entire crowd screaming she was going to kick people out straight line if they didnt form a straight line while wielding a knife in the air very erratically and slam it into the cutting board If This Were my employee she would definitely not be an employee should be cleaning the bathrooms if it was my authority and not sending people away and shooing perfectly good customers

Taste like heaven

As someone who used to work here, Im severely disappointed. Every time Ive been here in the last year service has gotten slower and slower. The people there care less and less. Quality has gone down and prices have gone up. I dont think Ive gotten a sandwich that hasnt been smooshed in the last year. Not to mention it took 35 minutes for this egg andcream cheese sandwich. I love that the bagels are made from scratch but I will not go back.

Bagel was good, but they gave me garlic flavored cream cheese when I asked for plain... didn’t go well with my cinnamon raisin bagel (to go order so I couldn’t ask to change it). My partner enjoyed his bagel sandwich.

By far the best Bagels in Bozeman. The bagels are both tasty and actually have the consistency that bagels are supposed to have. My family frequently stop by and grab some to go bagels on the way to go skiing.

Great bagels

While they have great bagels, they are beyond slow. 28 minutes for a bacon, egg and cheese to go.I went in at around 10:30am and one of the employees was barefoot. GROSS. While I cook barefoot at home all the time, it is an establishment and you have no idea what is on the floor nor what might fall on your foot. Put some shoes on.

I never write reviews but this place has compelled me to. I always order the same thing most weekends 6 bagels sliced and toasted, to go, thats it. My average stay to get me order is over 20minutes if the order is correct. I wish the managers would look to improve there system to produce order more efficiently.

Pros- Great food and friendly staff, inexpensive for Bozeman area. Bagels are best in town.Cons- slow service if you dont call in ahead of time expect to wait 20 min. for a bagel, even on a weekday... And dont let no line fool you when you walk in, everyone calls there orders in ahead of time.They are always very busy especially from 9:00 on.

This is a no frills local establishment with good quality bagels and basic “serve yourself” coffee. They do a great job with a minimum amount of wait. I’ve been stopping in for my bagel fix for years. Beware that service can be spotty at times which is why they get 4 out of 5 stars!

Best bagel shop in town! The breakfast bagel with egg and meat is the way to go. Ask to get jalapeno cream cheese added on there and its the best! They carry bottled kombucha too which I love! Wait is generally a little long depending on the time of day but if there is a wait its worth the wait.

One of the most reasonable places in town to get a good breakfast. Perfect when your body needs nourishment and energy for the days activities. I recomend the works bagel, also their cream cheese is phenomenal any flavor. Also the owner is a very nice guy.

Their bagel sandwiches are an excellent breakfast. My favorite is a double sausage egg and cheddar on an asiago bagel with veggie cream cheese. Totally a high calorie breakfast, but awesome for a treat. Their bagels are an excellent option for a breakfast or to have around the house.

The food is freaking delicious. Service is a bit disorganized. Parking is very minimal. For example, today today I ordered 2 sandwiches. 40 minutes later I garner the courage to ask what the eta was for my food, as 10 other orders had come and gone. Low and behold, it had been ready for quite some time and had been set out of the way on the counter. They did offer to remake it, but I had no desire to make my quick stop into an hour. Good thing I did, as when I went to leave a tow truck was waiting at my car next door. I had parked in the lot next door due to no parking at Bagel Works, which apparently is a no go from Mavens Market, as they called parking authority on my vehicle after 30 minutes.

Good place, very busy, seemed a bit overwhelmed but got through it. Prices are very low and its in a good location. Would go back

This place is awesome, they have fantastic bagels and a good selection of sandwiches on said bagles. I do miss the pizza Bagels though they were incredible I have no idea why they would have taken those off the menu. Be careful out the lines especially on Saturdays and Sundays and even more especially if its during the college season.

Your experience here will directly correlate to your willingness to wait. The other reviews are NOT exaggerating. During a not-so-busy time, with at least 7 people working, it look 20 minutes to make a simple egg and cheese bagel. Their inefficiency is just hilariously absurd. The bagel was good, though, and the kid at the front taking orders was awesome.

If there is one food that I eat very often, its bagels. And BagelWorks in Bozeman, MT has amazingly good bagels! Possibly one of the best bagels Ive ever had. And the atmosphere is very cool - reminds me of every cool college-town restaurant that feels authentic.

Top notch original bagel place in Bozeman. They have a variety of house made bagels and cream cheeses! Ive loved this place since I discovered it in the early 90s and it hasnt changed one bit.
