GREAT experience at the Bozeman Walmart Auto Center. Dave was so sweet,caring, and fun on the phone and in person. They were able to squeeze me to get my battery replaced in when I was in a pinch. They took great care of me and even went the extra mile to change my air filter because they noticed it was really dirty. Will be going back to them because you cant beat that service and the price I paid. The whole team was great. Definitely deserve raises.

I ordered $900 worth of tires from Walmart website. After I ordered I was offered a link to schedule install. After a tried I was given a number to call I was told by local wal mart I can only schedule After tires arrive. Tires arrived yesterday. I called an was told I cant schedule and that its first come first serve. Fair enough except the website and previous calls implied I could schedule. I asked to have the tires returned for a refund I was told that Walmart and walmart.com are separate companies (BS) and that Id have to process a refund through the website. Absolute joke.

Super rude on the phone, I asked when they would do oil changes and she said I dont know I dont know. and I was like ok sorry, didnt mean to bother you, and the lady said ok and hung up.

Looking for all terrain tires for my Jeep and Walmart had the best price locally for what I wanted.

The system is screwy and says they open at 7 when they actually open at 8. The lady running things this morning had to put up with a lot from a lot of customers and was so nice and friendly throughout.She happened to come in early to catch up on paperwork and saw me waiting at 7. Instead of just ignoring me she helped me get things arranged so that when the techs come at 8 my car would be ready. She showed sympathy and compassion for the circumstances that put me at her door an hour before opening. Angels are real!

Good place for oil change with lots of choices takes usually about 45 to 60 minutes in normal days.

The prices on tires brings me back, but the lady at the counter was rude. It might be worth the extra couple hundred bucks to not have to deal with her again. And one tire was half flat the next morning. Leaky valve stem core, I replaced myself.

Got a good job done. They didnt have air filter and I had to wait for 2 hours, but I was allowed to bring my dog inside and the air conditioning was great.

Best price in town and very reliable. Using the Walmart app you can keep track of your service so you know whats going on all the time.

So I came in not expecting much. But they have taken care of me to go on my travels! The polishing on my headlights is awesome and worth every penny! They were quite helpful and I love the staff. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Makes my stop easy. I will stop in again for sure. Even checked my spare tire pressure even though that is a major pain. Thanks!

Getting your oil changed even in the middle of a pandemic if something you still just need to do. The folks at Walmart seem just as overworked as all of the other essential workers, my heart goes out to you all. Todays experience was a pleasant one albeit they were busy and I had to wait while customers were on the phone with lots of questions and other workers were at lunch, totally my fault on the timing of getting my oil changed. Turns out I was missing a screw from an air filter, the part that covers the air filter and I had my oil changed at Walmart the previous time so somewhere between there and now I lost a screw. Not critical but they also did not want to take responsibility for it. Again its just a screw. One of the workers even came out to show me which screw it was and what kind of get to replace the one that wasnt properly put back after the last time I had my oil changed at this Walmart auto care center. My recommendation is that you go in early and be prepared to do your shopping and still wait for them to finish your car . Lots of people are having work done this time of year. I would give todays experience 3 and 1/2 Stars. Definitely cant beat the convenience of having your car worked on while you shop for food clothing school supplies makeup and other things you dont need but just cant seem to live without.

Dave is great and so are the rest of his employees. Always takes good care of us. Wont go to anyone else for tires, batteries or anything automotive.

I cant thank the Tire Department enough for helping my parents and me out with a last minute repair setting us up with another spare while traveling and having a blow-out. It was pushing closing on Sunday and their compassion and empathy for our desperate situation was amazing and so very appreciated!

The only place I trust with my car. Im late with this review, however, these are my go to, trustworthy, decent, and kind human beings ( & only one rude one) the management here is superb, the employees are wonderful. They were put to the test with integrity and passed. If anyone had a bad experience, Im sorry for them, its the isolated situation. They are good people here.

I do NOT recommend even getting an oil change here because they create problems and dont take accountability for their mistakes.I got an oil change here because of the low prices. They completely stripped my oil pan drain plug and put an orange putty around the plug to hold it in place. When I picked up my car from Walmart they mentioned nothing of this and refused to take responsibility for stripping the plug. Getting this fixed cost $200, of which Walmart paid nothing.

Minimally competent staff. Went to get tires mounted and was told Id they could get started in 15 minutes, after the car ahead was done. 30 minutes later the tech was still trying to balance 1 wheel. 2hr15 later they successfully finished mounting 4 tires on the car ahead and began working on mine. Cheap labor rates, but it shows.

An absolute waste of my time. I wanted to buy and install tires listed on their website but they refused to do so. I was told I need or order them myself online. What kind of customer service is this?! I cant even order tires listed on their web page through the tire department. The lady was very blunt about it and did not care. Talk about a turn off. Ill go somewhere else.

Came in for an oil change, we’re traveling. The service was so quick! The lady told us about our transmission fluids being dry and filled it up. Let us know our wipers were probably in need of changing. And I’m just now noticing our front floor mats were vacuumed!!!! (There was a lot of rocks and dirt from hiking and being on the road)!! I wish I would have noticed sooner to thank her! Little things like this makes great service!! Keep her around Walmart!

Took two hours to put on a new tire that was 3 days late to a rim not even attached to my car and they scratched the hell out of my rim and didnt say a thing. Wouldnt remedy any of the problems they created. Scarcely any interaction with me, I didnt even know the tire was finished when I was waiting by the counter.

Accused me twice of taking my car to other places because they found things wrong, like oil being overfilled and telling me a plug/cap was missing (a cap that doesnt actually exist per the dealership, mind you). I assured them those issues were due to THEIR staff as I hadnt taken my car to any other location. It was merely a convenience to go there when grocery shopping. The convenience wasnt worth the risk to my car. Never went back.

If you need a quick, simple tune-up dont overlook Walmart Auto Care as theyll have you in and out in no time. If you dont know exactly what you need Id definitely recommend giving other places a try first.

They put the WRONG oil in my Volkswagen than have me a list of things that wasn’t even wrong . called Volkswagen itself and they where much more help. Won’t ever be taking my car here for another oil change . Now my car is leaking oil . Which THEY caused and won’t own up to . Wouldn’t recommend letting them near your car with a 20 foot pole

Absolutely zero customer service. I brought my car in for an oil change and new tires. The counter person asked me what size tires I wanted and I told him that I wasnt sure what size tires my car needed. He refused to help in any way. I asked if he could recommend anything if I gave him the make and model, or just use the same size tires already on my car. He said no and would not tell me how to figure out what size I needed. I dont know much about cars, so I brought it in because I needed help. If I knew what kind of tires I needed I would have just done it myself. Also, the wait is incredibly long. The woman in front of me asked how long it would take for her oil change and they told her about 2.5 hours. Her car and my car were the only two cars in line. I can only recommend this Walmart auto center if you want zero help and a dreadfully long wait. Take your car elsewhere.

The girls are really nice and it was much faster than I thought it would be. I get all my oil changes there now because they know how to re set my notice when Im due for an oil change(I guess some places have issues with doing that) and they always do a great job.

This place was ok at first. They allegedly open at 8:00am. Dont believe the 24/7 thing that is for Walmart NOT the tire center!After giving them my business a few times, I realized I was always arriving when they were overwhelmed with business. I asked the individual at the front desk what he would do if he wanted to get there when the staff was not so backed up. He advised to come in around 7:30am. I took his advise and arrived as early as I could.One of their female staff members got extremely aggravated when I asked if I could make an appointment.WE ARE NOT OPEN YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!When I tried to explain what the previous gentleman had advised me to do she told me I was misinformed.That was the straw that broke the camels back. They have lost my business ever since.

Had a slow leak in my rear driver side tire- they took me in right away, pulled the tire off, found a nail, pulled, it, patched it, and handed me an invoice for $10. The whole process took less than an hour.Travis, John, & Casper were working, and were all very helpful and reassuring! I would come here again for small maintenance needs.

Had an oil change done, they put either a faulty filter or a defective filter on my car because the oil was pouring out of my car! Will absolutely never ever come back! To say these people are incompetent would be a compliment. Do yourself a favor and got to a real shop to get your work done, because Wal mart will break your car and blame you for it!

Had a flat tire, no one was working at the shop. They said it will take 3 hrs at best. They are under employed.

Grossly incompetent and needlessly cruel.My brother moved here recently and I had a spare set of studded snow tires that are the exact same size as the tires on his car. Not only did Walmart fail to change his tires, they changed the policy of keeping cars overnight to work on in the morning- the day after we left his car overnight. The next day after i removed the locking lug-nut (which i removed with a 17mm socket and a breaker bar in 15 seconds), they refused to work on the car, stating that the broken bolt on the back tire was unsafe to change. Funny, the broken bolt was only an issue the day after, when they techs already failed to remove the locking nut.This car is a 5-bolt pattern and has been driven on with with only 4 bolts for over 3 years. You know what is unsafe? driving on summer tires in Bozeman ice.The staff of the Walmart auto center were kind and accommodating. I believe the reason for so many negative reviews is the manager of the auto center. This individual was deliberately spiteful to me and my brother. I wanted my brother to have a safe vehicle to drive this winter. The manager here wanted otherwise. The manager here told me that there was no way to remove the locking nut on the tire, outside of visiting Big-O tires and having it professionally removed. This was a weird lug-nut I found in my tool box and put on the rim the day before. I put it on with a 17mm socket wrench and removed it the very next day with a 17mm socket wrench after the manager told me it was outside of the realm of possibility to remove the nut.The manager here seemed to have something to prove. Her mood changed when I told her I removed the lug nut, minutes after she told me it was impossible. This is when she told me that her techs would never touch a wheel with a broken bolt for safety reasons despite this being nowhere on the invoice.I have taken the car to Tire Rama where the staff there are COMPETENT. not only is the staff there more competent, they are more affordable and kind. Walmart charges 88$ and Tire Rama charges only 70 for tire changes.DO NOT GIVE BUSINESS to walmart auto center of Bozeman. They are incompetent, mean, disrespectful, and spiteful. They are also a ripoff compared to COMPETENT competition.

First, I ordered the tires online and Wal-Mart was supposed to call me when they arrived. They never called. The tire center is first come first serve, so I was there within 15 minutes of it opening and was told it will take 3 hours to install the tires and they would call me. 5 1/2 hours later I called, waited on hold for 7 minutes to find out my truck has been complete for some time. I go to pick up my truck and notified the cashier that I never got a phone call and that my truck was left in the parking lot, unlocked. You would think they would care but he completely ignored me. Dont support these clowns with your business, it only supports their neglect of customers.

I got four new tires installed, and one of the tires the Was on backwards. The tread was facing the wrong direction. I did get my vibration resolved though.

Will not sell less than four tires if there is a 3% difference in tread. Dear Sam, there is a 3% difference in tire tread among four new tires.

They took good care of us.

Complete and utter crap. Called to see if they had tires that fit my car. They did but could not hold them for me even though I live in Livingston and would be driving 25 miles to get them. Got there the next day and they had some them. So they ordered me some more and when I came to get them, they didnt have time to put them on. Finally the department manager was going to stay late and put them on only for them to call me and say that they had only ordered 1 tire. Will never give them my business again

The customer service is just awful. At best the employees act as if your inconveniencing them when your spending hundreds of dollars on tires and service and at worst theyre downright rude.

I walked in around 6:30pm (They close at 7:00) and the counter help was in the aisle trying to flirt with a girl who was looking at tires. It took about 7 minutes for him to notice me and when he finally did come over, I asked if they could balance my tires. He proceeded to laugh in my face and said we arent doing it THAT this late. I was taken back and said uhh okay, its only 6:30. He then said yea, we arent gonna do it, we open at 8:30 tomorrow. When I went to say okay and he interrupted me again to say we open at 8:30am. Needless to say, I will pay more money at Big O. Thanks Walmart-

This place allows there personnel to take customers products that had already been paid for from them with no exchange store credit nothing. Den of thieves this place. Go somewhere else.

This is a go to place for an oil change, its simple and I can shop at walmart while the change is happening. This works for me very well.

Service has gone downhill. Normally fast and decent with tire leak fixes and oil changes. Past couple time have been LONG waits, some unfriendly staff, and little customer service.
