I have been in several times over the last 2 years to have them fix the speakers they installed in my car.The last time I went in to get my buzzing speaker fixed, they told me it was falling out, so they just pushed it back in. A week later it started buzzing again.I decided to take my door apart to try and fix it myself. I found that they had bent the housing for the speaker and used WOOD SCREWS to fasten the speaker in, after using a drimmel to shave the housing down in an attempt to make it fit properly.I believe I have been more than patient with this business and have given them multiple chances to right the wrong, however I will not be returning, and I advise others to do the same.

I bought a deck deck, sub and amp from the Billings store 2 years ago. It was installed and worked great. After about 22 months, the Amplifier quit working. They tell me it is in protection mode. I called and the Billings store was permanently closed. I called the Bozeman location and was told the guy I needed to speak to was out and he would call me back. I never got a call back and called again a few days later. He was OUT again and again was told I would be called back. No call. I forgot about it for a week or two and then called a third time. Finally got in touch with the guy named Russ. He looked up my information and called the company. Russ told me my warranty was for 1 year and I was out of luck. This vehicle gets driven about 7,000 miles per year and there is no way it should have quit in less than 2 years. The last amp i bought for a vehicle lasted 7 years and then I sold the vehicle. Not happy with their lack of response and they were not willing to help fix the situation in any way. I realize they were not required to help but I feel it would have been a good practice. Be careful when using Sound Pro.

I had my whole radio deck replaced by sound pro and when they replaced the deck they had to disconnect my sub woofer, so I decided to have them out wiring in for an external sub woofer and then that way I could hook it up myself. So I called them asking about which wire was ground and which wire was power, and they wouldn’t answer me unless I brought it in and paid them. Given this is after $800+ on a new deck and all I wanted to know was the wire arrangements. Also after all that work one of my speakers was now (wasn’t before the work) wobbly in sound, so I complained about that and they just told me to buy new speakers. When they were perfectly fine before I went in. I didn’t enjoy my experience with sound pro and I wouldn’t recommend them, I try not to just see the negative so I will say that the customer service while in the shop was not bad and I appreciated that. -Gideon

These guys were great I bought an experimental radio unit from a company in China. Came with no instructions or directions and the guys took the time to work with me to figure it out and get it installed. Highly recommend and easy to work with.

Really friendly, helpful, and genuine people. Helped us out when we were having problems starting our van which we thought was due to the anti theft. Only charged us half an hour labor after spending longer than that helping us find the cause of the problem. Highly recommend these guys if you want quality service.

These guys are so great!!! Stephen helped me pick out a new stereo and he was super nice and honest. The person who installed my radio (Tim, I think?) took the time to explain all the features to me after he installed it, which was super helpful!! All the staff there was fantastic. They clearly know what they are talking about and they dont try to rip you off. I definitely recommend this place!!

Update, got ahold of me and apologized for the confusion and lack of communication. Made everything right and will definitely be giving them my future business.

Excellent customer service with answering all questions about radio system

I got a deck and speakers installed at Sound Pro. Good quality speakers. The reason Im giving three stars is because the speaker in two different doors came off its mount shortly after the install and started rattling around when I would open or close the door. I had to get in there myself and reattach the speakers properly

Had a huge mess of wires in my car that had been previously owned by a kid that obviously had tried to put in his own system and cut all the stock wires so I only had one speaker that worked. Brought it to good vibrations in Billings who had it for two hours and couldn’t figure it out and sent me home with wires to do it myself. Sound Pro was able to clean up the mess of wires and get all my speakers working within a couple hours. They were super friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.

Horrible attention to detail and when I had problems, they give me the attitude of prove it before we will fix it, even if it means leaving my vehicle there for days.

I wouldn’t let any other car audio professionals in the area touch my vehicles. Billy and Tim are the best. The products and the service are hands down the best in the area.

These guys were really helpful and knowledgeable about getting me set up with a car stereo that fit my budget. They took on the unique challenges that my car has. They are music lovers and its easy to tell. They are practical but also just cool people. Their passion about getting the best sound was obvious. I will come back to them the next stereo that I need. Total pros. They installed a remote starter on my Sequoia. Probably the best money Ive ever spent. Worked great until my car battery failed. They took care of me right away even though the problem wasnt really on their end. Thanks Mike and Harley, much appreciated!

Communication is a problem. They did a great job installing a deck but broke the bezzle. They said they would order a new one and call when its in so they could install it. No call after 5 months. I finally stopped in to see if they had it. They found it in the back and then tried to charge me for it. Didnt even offer to install it. They also would not call me back when I was trying to set up my deck install in the first place. Should have taken that as a sign. Install was done really well, its just the customer service that was terrible.

Great place to get your electric car starter.

My RV wouldnt start. Thought it was antitheft system. Had tow to SP and it was just bad battery terminal. Charged just for partial hour. Excellent!

Remote starter installation on a Mazda with a push-button starter is notoriously tricky. Asking around a lot, I learned that Sound Pro was the place to get it done and done correctly, which they did it. They were also very accommodating and pleasant.

Wouldnt come back here at all. Extremely disappointed with the service overall after spending over 7 grand at the store. Many shortcuts were taken in my install. Nothing was rectified. I ended up with a half install and they wanted me to come back later. They had MORE than enough time to do the job right the first time, and they absolutely failed to do so.

Just did business with these folks today for the first time based on a friends recommendation. Very glad I did!I asked them to install a CB radio that I already owned and wanted a custom install into a small space in my truck. Mike at Sound Pro took great care of me and my vehicle. His install was very clean and what they charged me was extremely reasonable. Not very trustworthy people. I went in here Saturday, May 19, 2018 looking for marine speakers for my boat. They had two options at the size I needed but neither of them were white, which is what I wanted. They kept trying to sell me on the ones they had but I kept saying no. Right before I walked out they said they found some white ones that they would order from Wetsounds, which is also a brand they sell. I agreed to have them order it as long as the speakers would be here before I left to my lake house on Thursday May 24, 2018. They assured me the speakers would be in on Wednesday the 23rd so I went ahead and bought them. I received no call from them until Tuesday May 29, 2018 telling me my speakers had come in, which was when I had already returned from my lake house and had just bought new speakers there. I went to return the speakers and one of the guys said they don’t return special orders and the other guy said Wetsounds will not let them return the product. If I would have known that my order was “special” and that they don’t take back “special” orders, I would have never purchased the product in the first place. Typical salesmen.

Brought these guys a repair job from billings from a shop here that did a very crappy job called sound pros and told them what I had going on and they told me they could do it and it should only take about 2 hours. Well after I got there we found out it was way worse then we thought and they wound up putting over 5 hours in it and stayed way after closing hours to get it done. They did a amazing job! Everything is clean and nice and looks like it came from the factory! They go above and beyond what is needed to make it work like some shops, they make it look nice even if chances are they are going to be the only ones seeing it. To me that says a lot bout what kind of guys they are. When it was all said and done they billed me a reasonable amount and did great work, if your thinking about using them dont think just do it, they do the job right the first time and you wont have to hassle with going back to some other place to get things fixed over and over. Great group of guys and great work, any work I need done from now on will be coming to Bozeman from billings.

I was in incredible pain through my buying process… Came back multiple times, and I had no idea what I wanted. One even took time to work with me off hours to make sure that everything was working well before a long road trip. Absolute killer team, there is no one better for stereos in the greater bozeman area.
