Stepped in to get out of the rain and wow what a nice place! Great friendly staff came out and made me feel right at home. Very nice selection of pistols for concealed carry and wow a wall of modern sporting rifles. And they got ammo in stock too! Mags, holsters, shotguns, you name it. Even a belt fed!A MUST SEE WHEN YOU’RE IN TOWN!!

I was in a pinch and needed to install a folding brace adapter on to a gun I didn’t even purchase from their shop. They were so nice and allowed me to use THEIR tools to install what I needed to install so I can get out on the range. Fair prices and a great team here. Will absolutely be driving 15min out of way to make sure I come to this shop anytime I need it make a purchase or need service done.

This place is hands-down the most welcoming and knowledgeable gun shop I have ever been to and all of my life as a floridian. I have bought guns at gun shows, pawn shops, and small mom and pop shops as well. i bothered the owner for three days straight with questions i couldnt get answers to online, and he was always patient and helpful. Went to the shop on New Year’s Eve and purchased a kel tec cqb. Shop staff was awesome to deal with. Really enjoyed everything they had in stock along with how friendly the staff was. Palm Beach Shooting Organization is the best firearm store in Florida. They have the greatest selection of firearms and accessories in all of the region. Along with an extremely helpful cell staff and service department. Mario does a great job making you feel like you’re at home. This is not like your typical gun store experience where you feel like the people do not want you there. Mario does everything in his power to make sure your experience is first class.

This business used to be a great place to buy guns and ammo but the business model has changed and with it a drastic reduction in quality customer service and inventory. I wouldnt recommend it anymore. Mick and Joe are still pretty cool employees, though.Edit -- OK, that was a prompt response to my critique. I applaud that and I will increase my rating to 3 stars for now. Maybe inventory is much improved, but increasing a $15 FFL transfer fee to $35 last time I came in just rubbed me the wrong way, also adding monthly membership dues just to shop in your store is irritating. Ill be calling you soon. Take care.

They had a gun nobody in our greater area had, and were selling it for fair retail price unlike other nearby retailers that are selling inferior models for the same price. Also, buy a gun and get 20% off anything else you want like holsters and ammo. They also do a great job putting on sites. Good selection, very fair pricing, and cheap gun transfers if you buy something unusual elsewhere, make PBSO my go to shop. Very glad to have such a good store in town.

He actually bought it back from me (obviously less then what I paid, but still) even after I fired it at a range. They have an amazing inventory unlike a lot of other gun shops. I went to their store for the first time on Jan 15 and was absolutely amazed. The entire staff and especially Mario were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Best place I have ever!! The owner is one of the most knowledgeable gun enthusiast I have ever met! The staff is so helpful and best of all no one is trying to sell you on anything, they explain the difference between brands and even help you decide what your actual needs are and then they just let you decide on whats best for you. I almost never write or review shops but had to put my 2c worth. I have know Mario before he opened his shop as he used to buy and trade with the shop I worked in. He has always been 100% above board in all our dealings. I have done business with him since he opened his place and can say that he is an asset to the gun community. As for the people that claim that they were wronged by Mario I cant comment as i wasnt there but i can make a few points.1. The guns were transfered to him from another FFL for transfer not for storage. Gun shops are not bank vaults and cant be expected to hold transfer guns for 6 months.2. Florida is not New York or LA. You can purchase guns with cash in an envelope. A receipt would be appropriate.3. In the video posted there is a recording of Mario leaving a message for the client and client admits that he didnt get back to Mario for 2 or so months. Is it possible that Mario assumed that the guns were abandoned? Maybe. But he still had money put aside for the client.I will repost this review on all sites but I hope that both parties come together and find a way to put this behind them.

My BF and I had 10 handguns transferred to PBSO from NY in June, handguns that he, Brian, had inherited from his father. Shortly thereafter we went into the shop, paid the transfer fees/expenses and WE told them we were not sure what we wanted to do with the guns yet.Brian called several months later and was told they were sold.Brian went in today to inquire about what happened with the guns. He was handed a white unmarked envelope. Brian said hold up, lets back up, whats that for one. Thirteen hundred in cash he was told. Brian asked about how that happened as we never agreed to sell, nor to a price. Never signed a thing. He asked for the paperwork. he was then cursed at and kicked out. Brian has been a licensed attorney in NY and FL for decades, and his father (dec) was in law enforcement for 40 years, Im a successful business owner; we a little familiar with the right & wrong ways to do things. Even if we are totally wrong and he had the right to sell them, he could show no paperwork, what was the price, what was PBSOs cut, why cash in an envelope? Seems sketchy but we could not get to the bottom of it as Brian was cursed at and kicked out.
