My only mistake was not checking out CarDrop first and 2 months before my truck lease ended. I could have made some extra good money. I initially went to Carmax as there was quite a bit of residual value on the truck after the lease ended. Problem was that Chrysler Capital, and many other leasing companies I have since learned, will no longer work deals with a 3rd party. Long story short, I bought the truck from Chrysler Capital and got the title reissued in my name and sold it to CarDrop today. CarDrop’s offer was better than Carmax’s offer….much better. I have taken 3 cars there one mine and the other 2 were family members cars. They are very nice, quick, professional, and the office is very nice. However with every car I took carmax was able to beat their offer and they would not match it and yes I brought the carmax offer with me. They claimed they both base their offers from wholesale value and they didnt understand why carmax offered so much more, but I think carmax uses a large corporate database so I wonder if that allows them to offer more for certain cars, I dont know. Ill still check with this company anytime I have another car to sell but be sure to check out carmax and see what the dealer your buying from would offer for trade (remember to take into consideration the sales tax credit) if you want to be sure you get the best offer. I also wanted to add I never felt like they were trying to cheat me or pressure us to selling the car to them for less than its worth and you should definitely come here. I rated 3 stars just because they say they will pay more than carmax but couldnt the 3 times I went

I am glad to say that I have finally sold a car to this fantastic company!!! I have used Cardrop for years (See Gannons Garage review) to get the most for my vehicles and admittedly have used their offers against the dealers to maximize my trade in and avoid taxes. This time though, I wanted to get rid of my car clean and quick (2004 Jeep Wrangler X 4.0 Straight 6 with a 5-speed manual and an aftermarket OEM hardtop). They blew Carmaxs offer by $500 dollars!!!! I walked away happy with $8k and they took my car to auction. They are beyond simple to work with and you can cash your bank checks from them immediately. I cant recommend them enough to everyone I know. I will undoubtedly use them again in the future!!!

Just keep in mind a few things when going to any auto purchaser. Keep an open mind especially about being realistic with your selling price. Remember any dealer is a wholesaler when taking in a trade or buying it out right. Wholesale means they have to resell it for a profit. Maybe that is easy for me to understand since I am in the wholesale aluminum business. Condition of the vehicle is everything, including paint, tires, and mileage. These team members are experts in this business. The pricing offered in my opinion is very fair within the wholesale / trade-in context. Finally, if youre looking for a good place to purchase your vehicle from you, at least give Auto Drop a try and most of all, walk in the door with a smile and be humble, it just might go a long way for you! Im 56 years old, been a mechanic my whole life. Was going to car max in Boynton Beach to sell my 2004 Nissan gold quest van. I saw this sign guy right across the street from car max. So I made a u turn and went in. The staff was friendly asked a couple normal questions they took my key, said they would be 10 minutes and it was 8 minutes with my quote!I said Im going to car max to compare. They said thank you and I left.Entered car max, 36 minutes later, they gave me a ridiculous quote amount. It was actually insulting, what they wanted to give me!!!!My whole life dealing with cars and selling cars, recommending people to go to car max. Well no more!!!! You need to stop at Car Drop first and see how fast and fair they are to you. And they drove me home!!!PS I hardly ever spend time to write an review!What do you have to loose? Except your money at car max! Shameful!!!!!!!!

This is not a place you will get a private party value for your vehicle, but with that being said they are very professional, straight forward and willing to work with you. My opinion is they are a lot better than Carmax because they can be rude or overbearing. This didn’t take a lot of time and they have more of a mom and pop feeling. I took a loss on my vehicle, but that isn’t their fault and overall I’d rate them 5 stars.
