This place is huge! They carry such a variety. My husband has been looking all over for just the right guitar but also at the right price. This place has competitive pricing. They also have very friendly staff. Brian and David checked with us several times to make sure we could find what we were looking for. Came in looking for a capo and left with that AND a new guitar.

It was Sunday morning, 04-11-21, and they were not even open yet. I was passing through Bowling Green Ky and needed to get some guitar picks to give away at my husbands Celebration of Life Ceremony later that day. I called and the owner was there working on a guitar for a client and said to come by and hed let me in and help me with what I needed. I got there, knocked on the door, and the owner let me in and sold me the picks. Thanks to him, I was able to give each person that attended ... a pick in remembrance of Peter, my husband. I was recently in need of some concert speakers and a mixer for my outdoor event venue in Rockfield, KY. I contacted Kentucky Music Co and spoke to David. He was very patient with me and gave me a good deal on purchasing some of their rental fleet of speakers. We had our outdoor movie night about two weeks go and I could not be more pleased with the sound and quality of the equipment that I purchased. A big thank you goes out to David, and the Kentucky Music Co team!

About 90% of my guitars and amps and everything else has came from Kentucky Music Co. I got my first “real amp “ a Peavey Duce w/Black Widow speakers 212 combo from David’s father at Blanton & Chandler 43 years ago. It was bigger than I was at the time. David has been nothing but good and fair to me on my purchases and trades. Will continue my business with him as long as can play guitar. Thanks David!

We really LOVE the friendly, helpful staff they have in there now, and the service cant be beat! I have bought several used drum kits, pedals, cymbals, and of course TONS of sticks from them over the years, as well as both acoustic and electric guitars, amplifiers, and accessories for my boys. Best store in town :)

I went in needing my guitar tuned up as i left all my tools back home. The person who does this was not in till 1pm and I drove 40 minutes from my hotel to get this done and it was 10:30. The gentleman working there told me he would restring the guitar but couldnt adjust the neck. That was fine with me as I had a gig and i had a vibration in my strum from one of the strings. He went out of his way and fixed me up. He cleaned and oiled the wood and charged me a reasonable price. I would recommend this place.

Im one of those fellows he likes to go in the music store fingerprint everything and play Everything Strum everything beat ever drum and then go eat lunch and come back and do it again and they never say a word that one fellow justs looks at me funny....but Ive been doing it for about 30 years and all theyve ever done is help me do it encourage me to play an fingerprint beat and strum thats why when I buy a guitar I bye it there because usually ive done played it..

Needed a guitar that night they had a perfect one for me. However they overcharged me by $80 on a Blueridge Dreadnaught BR-40 by telling me the one advertised online by guitar center for 419$ was used. I mean this is basically a used car lot but selling cars. They gave me a free strap and 4 picks but when you go in here just know they’re trying to reach deep into your pocket. Nice staff but digging into their customers pocket by saying the owner wouldn’t go any lower. Anyways I got my great guitar and willingly paid more because I didn’t have a guitar at the time. If you want a fair deal don’t go here.

Most guitars were the lower end. Most seemed a little high. Looper pedal I bought was good.

BUYER BEWARE! All they want is your money! Stay away, please! Bought some gear brought it back next day to trade. there was a difference and I had to make 3 trips to get my money back and I live an hour away! Save yourself from this greedy, lazy, take your money and run outfit. I wouldnt call it a business. Also marked price up well above what others everywhere are asking for gear. Lied to me about the prices and then once had my money would not return my calls!!! I will never be back and I hope you do not go there as well!

I bought a new guitar online from Kentucky Music a couple weeks ago. The day I got it I noticed it wasnt new however. The back of the guitar was totally covered in little scuffs and the guitar had the wrong pickups for the model I ordered. I checked the serial number and found out the guitar was manufactured in 2009. Well I put two and two together and it became pretty obvious that my new guitar had been sitting around their store as a floor model for the last four or five years. That would certainly explain all the scuffing along the back of the guitar; from shirt buttons, belt buckles, etc.I sent them an email the very next day, explaining that the guitar they sent not only wasnt the model it was advertised as but it was also covered in scratches. After not hearing back for two days I called and spoke with someone on the phone, again explaining what had happened. I was told the email was not received but that Dillon would look for it and would call me back. Another two days passed and I called again, this time Dillon, the guy that handles online sales was gone for the day... What a surprise! I proceeded to explain to the guy the owner of the business David what had happened. He basically laughed at me and told me to go f#@k myself. That because it had been five days that the guitar could have been to lolapolooza and back. He smugly told me to to enjoy my guitar because they would not take it back.Well, I did end up getting my money back by my credit card company and paypal acting as an intermediary and forcing them to but I had to eat the shipping costs to return it. These guys are very dishonest. and think everyone is as dumb as they are. They intentionally sent me a used guitar and tried to pass it off as new. When I called them out on it, they figured because I was in another state there would be no recourse. Unfortunately for them, they will likely lose more sales from a bad reputation than the extra couple hundred they attempted to gain from ripping me off.

The availability of parking is horrible and it is not wheelchair / Walker friendly. I brought my grandmother to a music recital there and I had to park far from the door and we had to push her Walker across a rough, gravel path. The owner said it was because of construction, but there are no excuses for how hard it was to get my grandmother in.

I ordered a guitar and it was packaged vey well and in perfect condition when I received it.The staff is very helpful and I highly recommend KMC to anyone.Thank you very much.

Only good things to say about KMC. Theyre super helpful regardless if your going to spend a lot of money there. They do it for the love of music.

I dropped my amp off in mid-June and didnt see it again until today (August 9th). I paid the guy the bench fee when I dropped it off, but come to find, he found himself to be supposedly too busy to the point of taking a month to send it to someone else in Nashville to finish. They refused to negotiate on the price or refund even at least some of my bench fee when I went to pick it up. Now he will tell you that hes the only person that does good amp work in town, but dont worry, I found out hes not. The guy who runs American Music across and down the street is competant and then some with audio electronics, just saying!
