I had an appointment scheduled for 2pm and was running about five minutes behind, so I called to clarify that. Upon arrival, I sat in the waiting room and at the 30 minute mark, no one had even looked at my car yet. In a nutshell, I spent the remainder of my day sitting in an auto shop. I sat waiting for a total of 3 hours. The mechanic basically told me that there wasn’t a ton that he could do about my particular complaint, but he would give it a shot. Another 30 minutes later I’m told that he started working on the issue but would need to order a kit to complete the job. All of this to say, the repairs would cost around $200.00. This seems a bit extensive for the particular complaint I came in with. Today, as I’m driving around, the wheel that was worked on is squeaking and making noise now more so than it initially was. I reached out to huntsman because of the overall good reviews. With that being said, this was a highly disappointing experience.

These guys know their stuff and are honest. Rare these days. Took my truck to other major shops and they couldnt figure it out. Huntsman fixed right on up. I took back since for regular maintenance and they also very fair prices. Great place to take your vehicle and service cant be beat. They have high ratings already and lived up to everyone of them

I called and set up an appointment to have my ac repaired, as well as get a second quote for an engine repair and to have my breaks checked as it had been a while since they had been checked.The quickest they could get me in was about 3 or 4 days which is fine and understandable. I scheduled for a full week out to line up with my day off, and they offered the 8 a.m. time slot.I show up and drop off my car at 8 am, the person working the desk said that someone would look at my car and get a quote to me in about an hour or two. At the 10:30 I called to check on my car. They said it hadnt been brought back but it was next to get checked out. Which is fine I understand that things get behind. At approximately 1 pm after not hearing anything I call back. They said that the mechanic went to lunch and would be looking at it when they got back. At about 3 they called me back with a quote that included new break pads and rotors, and that if they started right now they could finish by the end of the day.At 5 they did have the AC fixed and the pads and rotors replaced. But when I asked to see the pads and rotors and have them show me why they needed to be replaced the responses I got were unsatisfactory at best. One mechanic showed me the rotors that were taken off and said the person who worked on your car already left, I cant say why they needed to be replaced I didnt work on the car another mechanic said the old pads werent to the squealers yet. Which to me would indicate that I wouldnt need new rotors. And neither of the two mechanics there could tell me, or showing me on my old rotors why they needed to be replaced.The people who I talked to were very nice. But the service I received was less than satisfactory. Not getting my car even looked at till nearly 7 hours past the time I scheduled, no one being able to show me what was actually messed up with my rotors, and they were unable to determine the cause of my check engine light being on.

Took my car in for a front end alignment while I was out of state. Turns out it just needed the tires rotated and alignment was fine- no charge!!!Hats off to these guys, they could have easily charged me but the were SO honest. I will use them for all my car repairs!!

I love these guys! I live in Nashville and I always come here to get my car serviced. Huntsman is full of knowledgeable, honest, employees, I have been getting my car serviced here for years. I wont trust my car to anyone else. They never try to sell you more than what you need, and will proactively let you know if you need something done soon. Also, they have OFFICE CATS!!!! Ive only got an estimate for work so far. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. I have an appointment and will update after the put in my exhaust manifold gaskets. Edit even after running in to problems and being delayed the work was done properly and quickly. I would use them again and will.

I appreciate that they do not charge to find out what is wrong. Nice that they give a warranty on the parts unlike the other places I have been. Will go back in the future.

I had them repair the crankshaft pulley on my car and they charged me only $50. Lee was very helpful and honest although I only metand spoke to him over the phone.

Took my jeep in for front and back motor seals. Last time, they kept it 7 weeks. When I drove it home, 2 miles, seals still leaking plus they put clutch linkage back with ZIP ties, When I confronted them with photo, mechanic responded, at least its not dangling!! Owner accused me of doing it. BEWARE!!!

Why Go Any Place Else? Knowledgeable staff. I have had many auto repairs and vehicles serviced here. Car repairs are not my favorite thing to do, but they are great to deal with. Upfront about what they need to do to make the repairs, and fair pricing. The oil change process is the best around too. Highly recommend.

I can’t say enough good things about these guys. To begin with their estimate was half of what the dealership wanted to replace an alternator. They could have just told me that I needed a new battery as well, but they charged mine overnight and it was just fine. The total cost ended up being about $15 less than what they originally quoted. Again, I wouldn’t have known the difference. Then, to top it off, they basically detailed the inside of my car while they had it. The cats are super friendly as well.

My experience with Huntsman is ongoing and I will wait until all is complete to do a final review. What I can tell you to this point ($2,000 later) with certainty is they are not troubleshooting specialists but rather practice component swap mechanics. They live and die by the scanner and seeing modern mechanics going this direction is disappointing. They are very kind and cordial group and that is why the 2 stars at the moment. I will go into elaborate detail with pictures of codes, analysis and receipts after completion of experience...........

This is the go to place for Jeeps. They keep my 1979 CJ7 Jeep up and running as needed. I trust them and when they tell me I need something I do not question it because they are honest and have integrity. I am a customer for life. Thank you to the owner and everyone there for the work you do.

Huntsman is an absolutely incredible automotive shop. The team is very kind, helpful, and educated.I got a starter replaced for an extremely great price with a two year warranty. About a week after getting it replaced, my car would not start again; so they provided a wrecker to tow it back to the shop, replaced the starter (which was faulty straight out of the box) at no cost, and fixed some other issues. After having my car back for two days the second time, my car would not start again. I called them, and they were very nice and apologetic. They provided a tow truck once again, and it ended up being a battery issue this time due to the dome light being left on. They replaced a couple parts at no cost and had my car ready the next day.They never had my car for more than two days. If I could provide more than a 5 star rating, I would. I am beyond pleased with my experience with Huntsman and would recommend them to everyone.

My sons freshman year in college at WKU and he needed some work done to his car on short notice today. They got him in and out in a timely manner and were very reasonable price wise. We took our family Van in to have the engine diagnosed. The assessment was to replace it. We were offered several options and the engine was then replaced. We found that it didnt accelerate as did the original. So when Matt took it back in for review they found the Oxygen sensor was bad. When they attempted to remove it the sensor broke in the manifold. Matts team, was very generous replacing both the manifold and the sensor.Well the problem with horsepower persisted. It was then that we found we had a smaller power plant that the original motor. Upon discussing this with Matt he took counsel with the management and presented an incredibly fair solution.I am immensely pleased with the quality of service and even more with the character of the team. This is a GREAT local mechanics shop who have been incredibly transparent and reasonable with us each step of the way.I highly recommend them to you.Well done Huntsman!

I couldnt be more satisfied. I had an engine light problem. Went to a local auto parts store for a quick test. The readout listed several things that sounded incredibly expensive to fix. I called one auto shop, the said they could do a full diagnostic to pinpoint the problem for $90. That was a lot of money to put upfront for a problem that could potentially cost three to four times as much.I called Huntsman after, to see if they could do a similar diagnostic for perhaps a lower price. When I told them the problem, instead of charging me for the diagnosis, they said they would do it for free for the first 30 minutes, then advise me once they figured out the problem.They pinpointed the issue, ordered the part and replaced it the next day. They did quality work and I was satisfied with the price of the repair. I would highly recommend them to anyone and they will most certainly have my business for any maintenance or repairs I might need in the future.

This place is awesome!!! I have very little knowledge of a vehicle. Midas has given me an estimate of all that needed to be repaired. Huntsman looked at my car and what Midas said needed repairing wasn’t even messed up. This saved me $609 at least. They fixed an oil sensor switch for me. My car was leaking oil. I was worried cause I still seen oil underneath my car. They looked at it again and verified it was old oil dripping down. They cleaned it did again. They didn’t charge me anything. I later returned for a 4 wheel alignment. They have reasonable prices too. The atmosphere is laid back and cool. I felt so comfortable in there. Plus they have some great cats to keep you company if you wait on your vehicle lol. As a woman I worry about being taken advantage of but I don’t have to have that concern here. Will return for all my mechanical needs!!!!

We were having some car problems while on vacation. Called in the morning and was told they could look at my car the same day. I have never been in and out of a mechanic so quickly. The guys were even patient as my 3 year old chased around their cats. These guys are awesome! It only took about 2 hours to have my car repaired, and they are very affordable.

This establishment ripped us off blind. We told them the part that needed replacing. They told us we were wrong. Charged us for another part only to call us the next day and say we were right and it would cost $500 more in addition to the $300 for the perfectly good part. Go elsewhere.

Took my car in with an unknown issue, they honed in pretty quickly to a faulty part (which was broken) and replaced it the same day. Had other car issues and they looked it over but couldnt find the direct cause- charged me nothing, gave me extensive knowledge on what it could possibly be and how to proceed. Very helpful and professional, i highly recommend them.

Extremely impressed. Long story short, took the jeep to get tires put on it, got it back, the rain guard on the window was cracked.. We asked them about it, and they said their guys didnt mention anything about that happening and assured us they would have... We left thinking yea sure, your a car shop, like your really going to admit to anything... Not much longer, they gave us a call back, said they had played back the video monitors and it looks like it had maybe bumped into a rack. They are replacing the rain guards! They didnt have to call us and admit to anything, we had no proof! Honesty goes a long way- especially in world of mechanics.

I bought four tires there, within two months all the weights fell off the rims , they replaced and fell off again, within 18000 miles in warranty the tires have got chapped ,they rotated them and they are so loud you cant even hear what youre doing inside the car , theyre beating around the bush on replacing them all theyre trying to do is get more miles on them so they dont have to replace the tires would not buy their ever again
