Technician knocked a pair of AirPods out of the car door and they ended up underneath the car behind a tire. When we went to move the car we backed over them and broke them. Won’t be using Safelite ever again.

Worst service ever. Dropped car off ať 11am And after 5hrs was told it Will be Last one finished. IT supposably takes 2 of their shop workers to replace windshield. And they Only have 1 Guy working in shop... They dont give a sh_t About the customer. So unprofessional. Také your vehicle And money somewhere else.

Set up an appointment for windshield replacement for Thursday December 17th. Tech showed up on time. Communication was awesome. Tech then called to inform me that the windshield side moldings would have to be replaced but they were not an in stock item. He gave me the option to order them myself or they could order them for me and install once they arrived in probably 2 to 3 days and the parts would be roughly $50-60 each. I told him to just go ahead and order them and Id gladly pay the difference so I didnt have to spend the time trying to track them down or order them myself. A few hours later, the office called to verify that I wanted them to order me the parts and install them. I again, told them to go ahead and order them. They said ok and they would call me when they arrived. Fast forward to Tuesday December 22nd, I called just to follow up and check on the parts. Was told the parts manager was out for the day and would be back tomorrow (Wednesday) and she would have her call me first thing and give me an update. Wednesday rolls around, no phone call. I call again. This time Im told the parts were never ordered and they would be $160 each, triple what I was originally told.Forget that mess. Im paying cash, out of pocket for a windshield and theyre trying to absolutely price gouge the hell out of me. And pushed me getting a new windshield back for 6 extra days for no reason. I called the local gm dealership and I can get factory GM parts for less than $80 each. Which is half of what Safelite quoted. This place is a joke. Hope a manager or owner sees this and realizes how the business is being ran. Only thing I will do is say the original tech was very nice and courteous and did an excellent job. Customer service on the office level and with the parts manager fell apart.

Made appointment with safelite online, got text msg confirming appt. after waiting the 4 hour window , i went online to check status, and without notifying me they changed the appt. I called the local office ,which is less than a mile from where the car is , they came up with a bevy of excuses about there messages going out to customers voicemails were not going through to customers phones !!!!! the bad weather, too much snow, the trucks are not made for these conditions, all of the drivers live deep in the country!!!! too much !!!!! cancelled apt . dont use the bowling green ky office , the lady who answers the phone will just give you excuse after excuse and hang up !!!! not on time & not professional ! now that i called a independent glass repair shop safelite is overpriced by $75 !!! dont be fooled by the commercial . these folks at the safelite in bowling green ky are just lazy and dont care about customer needs !! they will use any excuse not to work !!! called the safelite corp office , they were not really interested in fixing the problem, just kept saying they were sorry !!! well, i am sorry that i called them in the first place !!!! nice response! very well thought out & nicely worded !!!

If I could put 0, I would. I was in need of a motor/regulator for the window on my truck, so I looked to safelite. You could not talk to a person on the phone. The prompt tells you that they are not taking phone calls due to covid-19. Im not sure how covid-19 is contagious over the phone... but fine, I went to their website and made an appointment. The next available was for 13 days away. Again, fine, I took it. With my window propped up with a 2x4 to keep rain out, I was excited on the day of my scheduled appointment. I received an email reminding me of my appointment. All is okay at that point. And about an hour after I received the appointment reminder, I received another email. This one was sending me a survey asking me why I canceled my appointment. Well, I could not call anyone to clear this up, since they think covid-19 transfers over the phone. And they forbid walk ins. The only thing I could do was go back to the website and reschedule. I could not get my scheduled appointment back. And now appointments were 3 weeks away. I never canceled this appointment. I was excited and ready for it. In the end I was left extremely disappointed and going to a different company.

I had unfortunately broken my front windshield and Safelite made the replacement so effortless. I am extremely happy with my experience, and with the onsite repair technician, Mason. Safelite was also conscientious of my safety and demonstrated this by both sending me an email of the name and photo of my technician; as well as giving me instructions for safe social distancing during COVID-19 state of emergency. Mason was efficient and thorough, even cleaning the dashboard of my vehicle and my front and side windows. Safelite also took care of payment through my insurance, and other than my new windshield wipers there was no exchange of money for services. Safelite processed my insurance claim via phone with my insurance prior to the repair, so that I would know exactly how much the repair and wipers would cost before arrival. Thanks Safelite and Mason! My windshield is doing great!

The Safelite technician arrived within the specified time frame. Before he began, he took a look at the windshield, and then went over with me the procedure he would be performing. He made certain that I understood everything and then got me to sign before he began. The process took approximately the length of time that he had given me as an estimate. He showed me the chip/crack and explained that the specific area would be even stronger now. He told me that the repaired chip/crack was guaranteed not to spread as long as we own the car. After the repair, the chip was much less noticeable. He also cleaned our windows and vacuumed our carpet, for which I tipped him. He was very polite, respectful, and was well-groomed. I will definitely use Safelite again.

Scheduled an appointment with a days notice and my scheduled time was between 8:30-12. The technician called me at 8:30 to tell me he would be at my house around 9:45 and he was. I also received a text letting me know when he was on his way. Unfortunately for me, what I thought was a repair turned out to be a replacement, but he scheduled me another appointment for Monday and In the mean time he put some filler in my crack so it wouldnt get bigger free of charge. Monday came and by 10 AM I had a new windshield installed at my Fiances work! Thank you Safelite

Upon arriving we call to make sure that our appointment was ready and set up to go as we got there there was a man that stood there and said are you the one with the car today that has an appointment at 11 I told him yes he took the keys and he drove it to the back then got right to work on it very little talking he did to us we did walk around and look inside the work areas what little he did talk was friendly and he knew for sure what he was doing I say this is a great place they got to work right on our vehicles as soon as we got there and for the other people that put less reviews on it if they came in Saturday without a appointment there was probably left work the head to wait but everything turned out great for us I do recommend this place

Bruce was FABULOUS!!!!My windsheild ended up being a 2 days event because what I thought was a possible repair ended up needing to be a full replacement. The first day Bruce arrived he immediately recognized the type of damage on my windshield and we spent time together discussing my options and why a replacement was a much better idea than a repair that would make it look better, but not be an actual fix. We scheduled the full replacement for the next day and he arrived, was very professional and had my windsheild done and ready FAST! He used every safety precaution to protect my vehicle, he was careful and also cleaned every window on my vehicle when he was finished because he didnt want just the one to be clean looking, he wanted to make sure they all were!I highly recommend Bruce and Safelight!

Called to get a window replaced, was given a quote of $412.00 and I gave them a credit card and scheduled the installation. The technician came to install the window, and called and didnt ask, but rudely DEMANDED that I come and pay $900.00 because it was a dealer item and was going to be higher. After calling there was absolutely no satisfaction given. I called a local competitor and even being a dealer item it was still only $495.00, not $900.00. Wont be calling these quacks to get ripped off again!!

Called and canceled the appointment after I’ve been waiting for 4 hours for them to show up. Then scheduled me for 4 days later. Didn’t offer free wipers or nothing. I have already call Geico and let them know that I will not allow them to ever again perform work on my vehicles. We schedule these appointments for a reason. Feel free to contact me.

DO NOT USE SAFELITE!!!!!!!!Called and scheduled an appointment 10 days out...technician never showed.Called again and scheduled another appointment, another 10 days out...for a second time no one showed. The car was at my work and it sat there all day, so its not like I waited a little while, they were late so I left. No, they just never showed up. Not once, but twice. Never bothered to call, give a reason, apologize, nothing. They obviously get so much business they just dont care. Ive never seen a business operate this way.

Fast service friendly staff. Although I question the quality of the glass. First dirt that hit my windshield left a blemish. My factory glass had 550,000 miles with no blemishes until it cracked of course. This was within two weeks. I dont see this one lasting a half million miles.

The people at the call center were very friendly but were unable to help me at all with getting the windshield repaired on my truck. The windshield was smashed by an object on the road and was completely unable to see through the windshield. Despite me telling them how about this emergency situation the nearest appointment I could get was one week away. This was very difficult to deal with and we had to make other arrangements with a different company.

Poor workmanship, and attention to detail. They put 3 dents in my front fender which they denied and I found scratches in the paint where the trim was removed. I took it to a reputable body shop and they said the dents were new and consistent with damage done while removing and installing a new windshield. The paintless dent removal service I use said the same thing. Cost $100 out of pocket to fix the dents and leason well learned not to use safelite. I had heard plenty of horror stories but took a chance. Obviously accountability is poor and they lack trained reputable honest technicians.

I had a really, really bad experience with safelite at corporate when my windshield was replaced covered by insurance that ended up being not covered. It was really bad.The local manager here in BG, Thomas, worked hard to make it right. The folks at corporate are brutally incompetant, and need to be fired. Thomas needs a raise.Next time i need glass, i will contact him/ this safelite directly!

I had the Safelite store on Cowan Street in Nashville, TN, replace my windshield on my Toyota Tundra in September of 2015. When they finished, there was debris on my dashboard, seats, floorboard, the trim molding on the right front side of the windshield was broken and another piece of molding was missing. WORSE, THE NEXT TIME IT RAINED MY RADIO QUIT WORKING AND I NOTICED WATER DRIPPING INTO THE CABIN FROM UNDER THE DASH. THIS WAS THE BEGINNING OF A 21 MONTH ORDEAL TO GET SAFELITE TO FIX THE DAMAGE THEY DID TO MY TUNDRA.During this time, I returned to the Nashville and Bowling Green Safelite stores five separate times WITHOUT MY PROBLEMS BEING CORRECTED. ON MY WAY UP THE SAFELITE LADDER I SPOKE TO Jonathan Martin, (Store Manager - Nashville), Michael Kemp (Quality Manager –Nashville), Troy Perry (Store Manager – Bowling Green), and Shawn Trulock (Acting Operations Manager – Nashville/Bowling Green).In June, 2017, I paid Toyota of Bowling Green to see if they could determine the source of the leak. Within an hour, the technician REPORTED that whoever replaced the windshield HAD NOT reinstalled any of the (8) cowl drain caps, nor did they replace the MISSING trim molding. The technician also pointed out that Safelites TECHNICIAN had drilled out the holes in the plastic louver sub assembly to be bigger and replaced TOYOTAS FASTENERS with ORDINARY sheet metal screws. IT WAS THIS HACK JOB THAT CAUSED RAIN WATER TO DRAIN INTO THE AIR BOX AND OVERFLOW INTO THE PASSENGER CABIN!BY THEN I HAD SPENT TEN HOURS IN VARIOUS SAFELITE WAITING ROOMS AND COUNTLESS HOURS CALLING MY WAY UP SAFELITES MANAGEMENT LADDER TRYING TO GET THEM TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR AND REPAIR THE DAMAGE. ULTIMATELY, I SENT A CERTIFIED LETTER LAYING OUT ALL THE ABOVE AND MUCH MORE DETAIL TO THOMAS FEENEY, THE PRESIDENT AND CEO OF SAFELITE.WITHIN A FEW DAYS, MR FEENEYS ASSISTANT CALLED ME. I TOLD HER THAT I WOULD NOT ACCEPT ANOTHER ATTEMPT BY SAFELITE TO REPAIR MY TUNDRA, THAT THEY HAD MADE IT ABUNDANTLY CLEAR THAT THEY WERE NOT ONLY UNABLE TO PROPERLY INSTALL A NEW WINDSHIELD IN MY TUNDRA, BUT WERE EVEN LESS QUALIFIED, IF THAT IS POSSIBLE, TO REPAIR THEIR DAMAGE TO MY TUNDRA.THEY AGREED TO PAY AN INDEPENDENT COMPANY TO REPLACE THE WINDSHIELD; TO REIMBURSE ME FOR THE DROWNED RADIO AND ONE SPEAKER; AND TO PAY FOR A TOYOTA DEALER TO REPLACE THE DAMAGED AND MISSING PARTS.THIS STARTED OUT AS A WELL DESERVED ONE-STAR REVIEW FOR WORK UTTERLY LACKING ANY DEGREE OF COMPETENCE AND FOR SAFELITES REFUSAL TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR CAUSING MY WATER LEAK. I RAISED IT BECAUSE ONCE I PAID FOR A TOYOTA DEALER TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEMS, THEY ADMITTED RESPONSIBILITY. AND ONCE I REACHED THE PRESIDENTS LEVEL, SAFELITE STEPPED UP TO THE PLATE AND FINALLY AGREED TO PAY AN INDEPENDENT GLASS SHOP TO PROPERLY INSTALL A NEW WINDSHIELD. THE FACT THAT GETTING THEM TO AGREE TO THE ABOVE TOOK 21 MONTHS AND COUNTLESS HOURS OF MY WORK LIMITS THE INCREASE TO ONE STAR = TWO STARS.

Dont take your vehicle in thereThey have replaced 3 windshields on my vehicle,Water leaking in still damaging interiors inside and they act like its not their fault,Oh boy there will be lawsuit coming to get reimbursed.Very unprofessional,Check with your insurances frist,There is a reason they will tell you that company is terrible.
