I could not ask for a more patient, understanding and knowledgable Audiologist. I was not born hearing impaired; but, at the age of 39 I had a stroke which permanently damaged the nerves in my ears. Marcie has alleviated my anxiety about my hearing aid and necessary repairs. She has custom fitted my aid which has drastically improved the quality of my hearing. She is great at what she does and NEVER over promises. If you visit Jacobs Audiology you will not be disappointed.

I dont know what Id do without Marcie. I have an unusual hearing curve that has required many, many visits to fine tune my aids & to maximize my comfort level. Marcie has enthusiastically risen to the challenge and gone many extra miles to research & develop programs that fit my unique needs. Marcie genuinely cares for each client & over the 20+ years that I have been with her she has never failed to spend the time needed to give me the best hearing assistance available. I can not say enough about Marcie both as a person and as a professional. Highly recommended.

First I would like to say that I have been wearing hearing aids for the last twenty five years and in those years I have experienced all types of hearing aids and unfortunately in most cases they have underperformed. Last spring I took it upon myself to find hearing aids that would increase my ability to hear and I thought if I could do it without going to an audiologist all the better. You see I didnt want to spend a tremendous amount of money this time around. I found a company on the internet where all you had to do was answer some questions , call their office pay a much smaller price and they sent you the hearing aids. It was a quality company with very thoughtful audiologists all over the country to answer any questions you might have in regards to their product as well as an app to help you understand how they work, but after many months I realized I had made an awful mistake. The hearing aids I purchased were no where close to what I needed. They were not strong enough to make a difference. I also came to realize that I needed to meet a professional audiologist in person so that I could get the best possible results.Luckily I had a good friend who recommended Dr. Marcie Jacobs to me. The experience with Dr. Jacobs was tremendous on the first day that I met her. Yes, I was skeptical at first but the more time I spent with her the more comfortable and confident she made me feel that I was on the right road to hearing well. She tested my hearing , gave me all the choices in hearing aids and let me decide in what way i wanted to proceed. I selected the hearing aids and the continuing service that Dr. Jacobs has given me is incredible. One example, when the hearing aids came in, I could hear again at a level that I havent experience in a long time but Dr. Jacobs looked at me and didnt like the way they were resting on my ears so she ordered new molds and the fit is so much better.in closing if you are in the market for hearing aids and you are concerned as to who you can trust. I 100% recommend that you go see Dr. Jacobs , a person who really goes the extra mile for her patients.Thank you so much for making my hearing world so much better!

I’m so happy My Daughter and I picked this audiologist she was the Best!! Excellent services, Great Costumer service!! Very Great at following up. A must if you looking for a audiologist. Marcie Jacobs, audiologist and owner of this business, is awesome. Shes very knowledgeable and very patient. She can explain everything you want to know in great detail. Shes been able to answer every question we asked in laymans terms so that its easily understood. Moms hearing aid has been a very hard fit because she has an unusually shaped ear canal on both sides, and Marcie has been extremely willing to order new ear molds and work with Mom to get the fit just perfect. Shes highly recommended by me!

Ive been a patient of Jacobs Audiology for a number of years and expect to continue for many more. Luck was with me on the day I chose to leave my previous ear doctor, because my new ear doctor was supported at the time by Marcie Jacobs as the in-house Audiologist. Ive had many audiologists since I was a child. Im over 50 now, so Ive worked with quite a few. By far, Marcie is my favorite. She is caring, pleasant, and highly knowledgeable about many different brands of aids. I never feel Im being rushed in my appointments. She helped me find an aid that overcame issues I had for many years that other audiologists before couldnt. Before I met and began working with Marcie, I had always used whichever audiologist my ear doctor had in-house. When Marcie took the plunge to move into a private office there was no hesitation on my part on who I would use. I continue going to her for my Audiology needs. I highly recommend her services.

I cant say enough positive things about my experience with Marcie and Jacobs Audiology. I have had a hearing loss for several years and had put off getting tested. The entire process at Jacobs was positive. Marcie is so friendly and understating. She takes her time to explain everything, not only with the testing but also about options if you need hearing aids. I did need hearing aids (no surprise) and Marcie was great at explaining the options with absolutely no pressure. One of the things I like best is she is an independent audiologist, she does not work for a hearing aid company, so I feel like she has no conflict of interest and will really recommend what is best for each individual. I have had my hearing aids for about two months now and she has been great with follow-up. It is to the point that I often forget I have my hearing aids in (not always a good thing) and they have made a huge difference for me. If you suspect a hearing loss, dont put it off and make an appointment with Jacobs Audiology.

Im a patient for over 4 years. I have heard horror stories from people who visit other practices. I send them to Jacobs Audiology. I get the BEST service, support. I am never rushed, and I walk away understanding my options. Marcie Jacobs, the owner of this business, is awesome. Marcie s very knowledgeable and listens to everything I said about my hearing issues. Marcie explains everything you want to know in a way you will understand. I went to her almost 3 years ago with hearing loss in my left year. She set me up with a hearing aid that works great and I now hear like I used to. Whenever I had issues with my hearing aid she was easy to get a hold of and took care of the problems quickly. I would and have recommended her to others.

Marcie, the owner and audiologist , is a breathe of fresh air! She was wonderful with my 90 year old father who has a profound hearing loss. Marcie had the ability to connect with my father, put him at ease, and fit him with the appropriate hearing aids .She responds quickly to any questions or concerns, is efficient, and on time with appointments. The experience was smooth and easy and very laid back! Jacobs Audiology is amazing! Have been using Marcy Jacobs since around 2000 when she was with Dr Marinelli (who was also an awesome ENT) Years later, after using two other ENTs in the southern Maryland area and their audiologistand having no results. One doc ordered MRI, never got results, as when i came back to get them, the office staff insisted i was a new patient and had no records?? The doc never sought to get the report from radiologist, which if she had, may have caught my condition much earlier. Out of frustration, I remembered how informative Marcy was and wondered where she had gone after Dr. M passed. She now has her own company in Bowie and California, MD. Her associate, Randi is in the California office and she is AWESOME! Randi is the one, after no help from docs down here, who was suspicious of my continues failing hearing and encouraged to hook up with a neurotologist. I also found another amazing ENT who comes out of DC to Waldorf, who confirmed Randis suspicions! I had ear surgery in December on my right ear, thanks to the knowledge of a good Audiologist! Jacobs audiology is very professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful and encouraging! So thankful for their knowledge on the latest procedures, technology and willingness to help you find the best for you!
