I came from out of state 600 miles to meet my salesman REGGIE WILKINSON. He knew I was flying into BWI. I was prepared to take an Uber to the dealership then as I was getting off the plane I received a message from Reggie informing me, “No Sir, my customers get the red carpet treatment” He was waiting for me at my gate! Totally unexpected and to top it off he picked me up in the vehicle I was wanting to purchase and let me drive it back to the dealership it was topped off with fuel and fully detailed!!! I literally could not find a speck of dust or a piece of dirt on the vehicle anywhere. Once we got to the dealership he never left my side until all paperwork was completed, he actually had it already to go with sign here post it notes. He is an expert at what he does and made me feel very important! His customer service and willing to help are second to none. Reggie and I had been communicating for about 7 days prior to coordinate the pick up of a vehicle that had that I’ve been scouring the US for. Next time I’m in the market for a vehicle I’m going to make the 600 mile flight to deal with Reggie Wilkinson again hands-down no exceptions. I recommend you ask for him by name and you will get the exact same treatment I got. Absolutely the best car buying experience I’ve ever had in my life most times I sit in the dealership for 5+ hours I didn’t even have time to finish my coffee and I was already leaving in my new vehicle. Reggie It’s very polite and considerate and had absolutely all of the issues and concerns I brought up prior addressed and handled days prior to me arriving. Best car buying experience ever! I scheduled an appointment for 10/28 @2:45. My appointment was confirmed in an email. On my way to the appointment, I received a call to confirm my apoointment for 10/29 @2:45. I explained that my appontment was 10/28 and I was on my way. I was told that there were no appointments left for 10/28 and I would have to come 10/29. I continued on with the thought that I had a confirmation for 10/28 and I wanted to be serviced on 10/28. When I arrived I was angry. One of the service reps very patiently worked with me to get my car serviced. I did not get his name but he is the gentleman that is directly in front of you when you walk in the door, very tall. He directed me to another service rep, I believe his name was Brian who proceeded to take good care of me. I have never had as problem with my service and was prepared to be through with Ourisman if my car was not serviced. They came through

Absolutely terrible service. I went to the parts dept. no one at the counter, you have to press a button, when then employee comes, he couldnt get rid of me quick enough. Its the the new Covid customer service, no one in these places wants to deal with a customer face to face, instead they refer you to shop on line... I cant wait until someone tells the employees that customer service is not just something to talk about but to actually practice. I brought a Camaro from this Store in 2015 and just purchased a 1SS Camaro at their store in Marlow Heights, that was another poor service situation, never again...

When I was ready to buy Reggie layed out the red carpet treatment. I liked the salesman - Christian. Seemed like a genuinely good guy. The car was absolutely empty - no gas when I went to pick it up. Plus, all of the tires were underinflated. I am spending $28K on a car, respectfully -- I expect much better than that. I have bought Chevys my entire adult life and this was probably at the bottom of buying experiences.

Was there early for my appointment for a recall, was emailed that it would take approximately 30 minutes. However; it took about one an a half hours. When I inquired about how much longer, I was told because I got there early I was put behind other people that had appointments after me. I purchased my car at the same dealership but will never go there again.

Came to this dealership just to see the trade in value of my car and ended up leaving in a Chevy Equinox! Reggie Wilkinson was such a huge help the entire time, having me test drive different cars until I found the one I liked the best, and him and his team got me an amazing price and stayed hours past the time they close. While the one associate who assisted me seemed very helpful, all of the others came across very less then professional. The thing that i was most taken back by was the 16000 increase over the MSRP of the vehicle. Apparently they feel that that since supply is limited, its ok to gouge the customer. I would advise looking elsewhere.

Everything was above average until I went to pick up my car in the service bay after I signed my paper work. There was a gentle vacuuming my driver side of the car which I greatly appreciated. And then another gentleman who introduced him self as the QC inspector. He looked under the hood and then removed the plastic from the seat and then remove the number placard from my rear view mirror. He noticed all the bugs I managed to collect on my car and asked if I wanted a car wash. He sprayed the bugs before the car wash and explained why. After the car wash he showed me that my paint needed some TLC and recommended a detailed wash and wax fix the issues.This QC inspector made my day. Every body I came into contact with at the dealership did their jobs and nothing more or less. The QC inspector when above and beyond compared to his coworkers. I was treated like a customer should be treated when you want return business. Thanks to the QC guy I have a reason to come back.

I initially took my vehicle to your dealership because the air conditioner was not blowing cold air. After receiving a call that my vehicle was ready for pick, I arrived at the dealership, paid $1,700, and was on my way. I immediately realized that the air was still not blowing at the appropriate rate. My air conditioner blower has 6 bars of blowing strength. In order for me to feel sufficient cool air, I had to place the blower level at 6. At the level 6, I still did not experience sufficient blowing to both my face and feet. I could only feel the air on my feet.I went back to the dealership to convey the situation, but to also request a loaner vehicle. I was required to wait several days before having any opportunity to obtain a loaner. My description of the problem was exactly as I described initially, not one word was changed. I asked my Service Advisor where the accountability in the repair process was. I also asked if the mechanics are required to test their completed work before stamping the work as completed and the vehicle ready for pick up. His response to me was They are suppose to. I felt his response not only did not address the issue, but in essence was not addressing my question. After a couple of days, I received a call from my Service Advisor that the mechanics could not determine the problem. The next call that I received, a couple of days later was to inform me that the mechanics had found the problem, however a part needed to be ordered. After several more days, I received a call that my vehicle was ready, with a cost of $400 (approx). He assured me that I was not being charged any labor or diagnostic fees. My question then was well what did I pay $1,700 (approx.) for? No answer was given, as it related to solving the problem was given. When I arrived at the dealership to pick up my vehicle, I went to the Service Advisor with the hopes of obtaining information as to the status of what took place, and how the ability to properly diagnose the issue did not take place. He promptly directed me to the cashier. Once I arrived at the cashier counter, I voiced my desire to check the blower before proceeding to return the loaner and making payment. The cashier was able to have my vehicle pulled into the bay, and I could check the blower. Once I returned to the cashiers counter, I asked if I could speak to the Service Manager. She went to his office, and returned to direct me to his office. I explained (exactly as written here), as well as asking the same questions, regarding accountability of their repair process. He called the Service Advisor in, which I had to quote his comment they are suppose to. The Service Manager, who heard my questions, and expressed concern with the situation, was quite helpful. He also asked if I was OK with the dealership picking up the charges due. I agreed that it would be OK and I expressed my appreciation for his handling of the situation. The Service Manager stated his desire to retain me as a customer, to which I stated the cost of being a customer, as I previously experienced a $2,500 cost to have the air conditioner line replaced, $1,500 to have air conditioner doors replaced, the $1,700 to have more air conditioner work done, where the work was less than complete and corrective. Really?? You wonder why I would hesitate to recommend this service department to family and/or friends!

I own GM vehicles. This was my 4th visit to Ourisman for service. The service counselors are knowledgeable and friendly. The waiting area is very clean and has several conveniences. Ive never been dissatisfied with the service but I do have two small complaints. 1). I made an appointment to get a replacement key and a second fob for one of my cars. I made a 6:30 am appointment so could get them purchased and programmed before work. I got there early and was told they had to order the part and I had to either leave the car or come back. 2) They have a TV in the waiting area but it wasnt on. They dont seem to feature wifi either. However, they do have a charging station for electronic devices. When I returned the next day, my vehicle was serviced quickly and to my satisfaction. Ive never bought a car at Irishman. I would recommend this location for service.

I brought my 2017 Malibu in for service last week and left with a GMC Terrain. Although I had no intentions on leaving with a new vehicle, I am happy with my purchase. 2020 C8 Corvette. Needed an oil change. Filters are not available at the quick places. Made an appointment so I could get in and out fast. It took an hour and a half (for an oil change). And it cost me $200. This is really ridiculous. It is clear that I had no other choice or I would have done somewhere else. I will avoid doing this again. But until the aftermarket catches up, I have no choice. The people at the dealer were nice and polite. It is just the way it is.

I had such an amazing experience at Ourisman Chevrolet of Bowie. From the moment I got out of my vehicle and Reggie (Wilkinson) approached me, I felt welcomed. Reggie’s approach, which is authentically Reggie, was integral in helping me to relax and feel taken care of. He worked to get me exactly what I wanted, which has proven to be particularly difficult during a time when it seems like dealerships don’t even have cars to sell. I did not have to settle on anything and I felt like like Reggie wanted me to have this vehicle as much as I wanted me to have it. Christian Walker was a great salesman. Even know we couldn’t reach a deal on the vehicle I was considering, he was friendly, no pressure, he exhausted all options with BUSTER UNDERWOOD (manager). Buster was really no help at all. He was adding on a 2 month/2000 mile warranty for 4K, 700$ tire charge and 660$ in non-tax fee’s. Which all are insane charges. However, Christian gets 5 stars and his boss Buster gets a 0 star review.

Absolutely worse experience. Bought a 2017 Chevy Silverado back in January. The truck was in good shape and got a good deal. The issue was they never let the title go and give me hard tags. I waited almost 5 months and nothing. When I called one of the managers told me Im not responsible for managing your finances or bills. The next day I sold the truck back to them because I couldnt trade it for anything else since I didnt have a title. Fast for to last week the same dealership calls me asking who has the title and who did I purchase the truck from. I told the woman over the phone I bought then sold the truck back to your dealership. She seemed shocked. I have puchsed several vehicles from the ourisman group in the last 5 years. Don at the Hyundai dealership for instance is amazing and has always looked out for my family myself. If youre looking for a Chrvy product I would recommend not going to Chevrolet of Bowie.

Be aware about purchasing used vehicles from here. I purchased one back in January and have yet to receive my registration, title or tags for New Jersey. Ongoing back and forth with title department about tags only received the run around. Currently Im on my fourth set of temporary tags with bo expected date for permanent tags and registration. Had an 8 AM appointment for oil change/tire rotation and to repair a clank when accelerating/decelerating. Normal maintenance was completed, but they were unable to determine the clank issue. I was not notified of any of this until after I called to check on status. By this time, I was already on my way to the dealer as I had not heard from the service manager. They wanted to keep the truck overnight; however a loaner was unavailable. I informed the manager that I needed the truck back; she informed me that I would need to make another appointment when a loaner was available. As I pulled into the dealer lot, I saw my truck flying out of the parking lot. Seems they were doing a bit of last minute testing, but didnt realize I was there. I was not pleased in how they treated my vehicle. The manager was able to retrieve my truck and processed the invoice. She never mentioned rescheduling and barely looked at me. I sensed she was upset that I came for the truck and probably felt pressure to get it to me, but I wasnt in a hurry and could have waited until it was ready. If a loaner was available, they could have kept the truck for as long as it took to identify and repair the issue.The only reason I am rating a 5 is for the location convenience. Some days are good here, others not so much. Hit or miss on service. I havent decided if I will return to this dealer for the follow up service or go somewhere else. Or just trade the truck in on another make.

Decent experience, the truck we bought was priced per the market demand so there was NO room for negotiation. My only real complaint was that they sunk the hook for the sale by telling us the truck had a promotion for 0% interest. But once the credit was run (very good score btw), they had made a mistake, the promo was on the Silverado not the Tahoe. My BS meter went off but I was too deep to turn back, which is probably something they anticipate. Oh well, love the truck and otherwise the dealership was great, very quick process and very nice people. My advice, if they offer this to you get it in writing before sitting down to finalize the deal.

No diagnostics capabilities whatsoever. Two problems with five “ solutions “ and, of course, only two were real solutions. You did the right thing this time as opposed to some years ago when you insisted on payment for a non-solution and I caved and left you for a number of years. That was in the reign of the previous Service Manager. The current one did the right thing and reduced my bill for all the non-solutions- $2,214 to $987. But, you had the car for almost a month! You need some diagnostics capability- clearly- FULL-STOP!

After much consideration about who to trust with the task, my fiance took our 2009 Chev Corvette Z06 with only 13,500 miles to Ourisman Bowie dealer only to have them assign a non-certified mechanic who overfilled the car with oil and had it smoking like a freight train. They then had to redrain, refill then drive the car (who knows how) to blow it out. Bring the car home showed oil on the side mirrors, front spoiler and rear quarter - on a card kept immaculate and cleaned/garage after every drive! This is how a reputable dealer handles a car (no matter the model) only to then keep saying it will be okay. Even on a car where no discount applies, first visit or otherwise this doesnt cut the mustard! An indepth email was sent to the dealer Service Manager who again could only apologize but knew I wanted all on record because any foul up of plugs, codes or lights not seen before was going to cause a problem brought right to his desk!

I would recommend Omar. He was really great and I know he worked really hard to help us get a car. I wouldn’t recommend the dealership so much as they did falsely advertise their cars to get us in the door. We had to do a good bit of haggling with the manager with our 10 month old son there. Eventually my husband had to take the baby home while I finished the process. The reason we didn’t leave and go elsewhere was simply because we didn’t have the time with a small child to go from dealership to dealership as we had already sold my other car. Omar was great. Overall, wish our experience would have been better. The only reason I’m giving a 10 is so that Omar gets the credit. Not the dealership.

Check engine light appeared a week prior to this recent visit. Took my car for service to Koons Toyota, where I had purchased it. They ran a diagnostic, determined the car was burning oil, but could not service the car because it was a Chevy. Brought it to Ourisman 7/5. Diagnostic could not be done. I was told to return after driving 1000 miles or when engine light came on.On 7/11 engine light came on and remained on. I was able to get an early appointment on 7/13. Diagnostic was run and car was repaired and ready a few hours later. I am pleased how quickly service was done this second time and how quickly and efficiently Jeannette Derry and Medric Mills worked to resolve the problem. Thank you.

Purchased a car from here, 2021 Cameron SS. Very often the car wont turn on unless I jump start it.Took it the their shop once, they said they fixed.A couple of months later - same issue.Dropped my car in today, they gave no time frame of when it will be ready, the service advisor said he will call me back - never did.I called again today after 6pm - spoke with service manager who was useless and all he could tell me was that my service advisor was gone for the day.How about a Loner? - They dont have any.

I was working in Bowie the week of June 14. At the hotel all 4 of my factory 22” wheels and tires were stolen along with a broken back passenger window on my Silverado. This happened on Wednesday. My experience dealing with Ourisman Chevrolet gave me total satisfaction. AAA couldn’t help me out but Oursiman did. They made arrangements to have a tow truck come out with 4 spare wheels and was able to bring it to there place.They were very professional and was able to get the original tires, wheels and repair the back window by Friday so I can drive back home to New Jersey.

I was given a 10:30 am appointment my truck was not taken back for diagnostics until 11:30 a.m. You would think I took my car to a Mercedes-Benz dealer based on the per hour labor charges. They recommended that I repair four items. I was charged 1 hour to repair each item for a total of 4 hours when the items could have been repaired simultaneously in less than 2 they charge like the items were repaired in consecutive order and I dont believe that.

He was very honest told me what had to be done and he had 4 recalls done in one day even though I was told it would take the whole weekend. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE!! The mechanics must not be certified. I took my vehicle here twice in one week. They messed up my A/C system; said it needed a condenser and replaced it. The A/C still did not work properly. It is a new SUV. I ended up taking it to another dealership and they got it right. 👎

My experience with Chevrolet consistently entails being overcharged for minor work on my vehicle. I was stated and estimate of $2,200 for work, where another trusted mechanic, quoted a price of $500. While I understand it is a labor intensive job, the issue with my car was a known and consistent issue, which seems to be a manufacturing issue, and should be on a recall list. It is saddening to see that Chevrolet is dedicated to overcharging customers, even in times such as these.

The service department is inefficient and not customer friendly. When purchasing a new vehicle, they left off $4k of options, then there were 2 recalls on a brand new vehicle. It took us no less than 10 phone calls just to get service set up. Once the day came for service on our 8 passenger vehicle, we were given a small electric car as a rental for the day. Now we cannot even transport our entire family around today. Worst of all- this “rental” was part of the Ourismann Promise we were forced to purchase for $1k when buying the new vehicle. If you don’t buy the “Promise” they won’t sell you the car. Finally, said the car would be ready by 5. 2 hours past when it is due to be finished, we still do not have our vehicle back. Never buy or have your vehicle serviced by Ourismann.
