Recently I purchased a Duranautic 13 aluminum boat to replace an old 12 footer I had for years. The Durnsutic is nearly 1 and 1/2 feet longer and slightly wider than my old boat making it much more stable, yet very easy to row. Thanks Andy for all your help and information during my search for a new boat. I will definitely be doing business with The Boat Guy in the future. Next will be a small outboard for the Duranautic.

I have purchased a lawnmower in the past and now a chainsaw from them. I specifically go to The Boat Guy because they are so nice and explain everything clearly and put all necessary fluids in the equipment so its ready to go. I will continue to go there for all my power tool needs!

Thanks for everything backpack blower awesome

Bought a cub cadet LT 46 at Home Depot about 6 months ago. The starter shaft snapped off and required replacement. The boat guy is 1 of 2 authorized repair dealers in my area that would cover warranted repairs. Gave them all the information and my tractor and was told I would need to leave a $65 deposit in case the repair wasn’t covered by cub cadet and that it would be returned if the repair was covered. Received a phone call later saying that the repair was covered and my tractor was ready for pick up.Upon arrival at the store I was told that my $65 deposit would not be returned because “cub cadet doesn’t pay enough on Warrantee repairs” and they aren’t making enough money. And that because Cub Cadet only paid them the cost of the part and not the retail price, I was responsible for the difference, which “coincidentally” came to EXACTLY $65.Spoke with a guy with a beard. He gave me the number to cub cadet and said they would probably give me my money back just to keep me happy. He also told em that my agreement was with cub cadet and not them, but the boat guy also has an agreement with cub cadet to make repairs. If it’s not profitable, you don’t steal and scam people out of money that isn’t due you.Cub cadet customer service told me that this was certainly not what should have happened, spoke with them in the phone while I was on hold, confirmed that my story and The Boat Guys story matched. Cub cadet is investigating but I guarantee I will be going to other authorized dealers for repairs and services and will never step foot in this place again.

Called today looking for service and parts , the man told me he could help me Tuesday. Went to Morrisons Power Equipment in Plymouth $26.00 and I was all sett in 5 minutes. Service counts !

Fantastic service at a family owned local business.I needed a new power washer, I had ideas about the capacity Id need and options I wanted. They recommended a Greenworks EPW 2000. Pickup of the item was done with no contact - I appreciate this consideration in the times of COVID 19.The new tool was already assembled - try getting that at a big box store! Youll only get a box with parts in it! It was assembled and the literature that came with it in a plastic bag so I wouldnt lose it.I started using it on my front porch, it cleaned off the lichen and mold from the bricks perfectly. As a bigger challenge, I used it to clean my yard swing which hadnt been washed in the 15 years that Ive owned it. Look at the picture Ive attached - the results were amazing.Once again this proves the value of good local businesses.Thank you!

Ive taken 2 boats over 11 years to the boat guy. The team is excellent. From early on they got to know me, and what I like. From a single guy to now married with a family they have met and exceeded my needs and expectations. A few points along the way - I almost bought a smaller boat way back in 2007, Andy told me he knew my fishing interests and work schedule, and recommended a slightly bigger boat so i could get out when the weather was a little choppy on my limited days off. I think of that often when now 9 years later my family and I are running back from the Vineyard in a steady 3 foot SW chop... He encouraged me and helped choose radar when we had kids - for safety. When I call Jenn knows my voice, and addresses my needs or questions promptly. I recommend the boat guy to everyone I know.

As a GM of a Chevy dealership I am very aware of the unfair treatment/pressure the manufacturer puts on your business when you are simply trying to pay your bills and your people. I purchased a Leaf Blower from A big box store, against my normal policy, because it offered a free 4 year warranty..... Only to find out after the item broke in 11 months that the Big Box store no longer services what they sell. I went to the boat guy and was appalled to find out the manufacturer was only paying $18 to replace the carburetor and cost of the part. No business could survive.... After working with the staff I now see I need to view my extended warranty as a discount on repairs not a guarantee the repairs will be free..... I hope these manufacturers wake up and realize these service facilities are gold and with out them they will not be selling product for very long....... As for me, Makita and Home Depot will not have any future business from me for power equipment........ Fair is fair and the only unfair treatment I got was from a bogus extended warranty that is trying to undercut the hard working guys ...Probably why Home Depot no longer agrees to service what they sell.

I have been using The boat guy for 4 seasons to take care of my boat and am very pleased. I stopped in the new showroom to thank them for a great season and ended up leaving with a snow blower. Cant recommend this place more.

I went to The Boat Guy because they are a STIHL dealer to purchase a backpack leaf blower i allready had made my mind up that i wanted the BR700 because it seemed like a logical choice since i was looking for a powerful machine but the gentlemen that was showing me the machines explained the differences between the 700 and the 650 models and turn out for what i wanted to use it for the 650 was a better choice and he was right on he could have easily sold me the more expensive model but steered me in the right direction and could not be happier.And to top it off i recently received a phone call by The Boat Guy to make sure i was happy with my purchase i dont think that has ever happened to me and i have bought alot of stuff over the yearsThank you Boat guy you have yourself a customer for life see you soonNathan M

Good Honda dealer who also carries a full line of Stihl products. Repairs were done quickly without too much sticker shock when it came time to pay. This review is for the retail location off of Route 28. The other Boat Guy on 28A near North Falmouth does boat work and repairs Honda outboards.

Friendly employees however, the owner is a narcissist.Walked into the store to get a blade for my chainsaw to see the owner standing n the middle of the store in his cell phone, speaking obnoxiously about how great he is and how customers just throw their money at him because hes The Boat Guy. Also heard him refer to his employees as monkeys.I was trying to explain to the employee at the counter the type of blade i need. Unfortunately, he had a hard time hearing me since the guy was still on his phone, chuckling and praising himself. Afterward I walked over to the saws and to my surprise they mark all of their prices ABOVE every other stihl store. When I asked about Stihls saw the 170 i was told it was a piece of junk and to throw it away. UNBELIEVABLE. Not what I expected from a dealership selling a dealer only saw.So if you want to feed the pockets of a man who thinks hes better than you feel free. But I will do my business with a more humble and sincere power equipment dealer.

Called and asked if they had two specific things. (Gas tank and ear muffs). They said they did. We drove one hour to get them and when we got there they said they had neither! Are you kidding? We will never go back.

Andy and his staff have been taking care of my boat for many years. I couldn’t be happier . From general maintenance to a repower ,they do it all. I have purchased power equipment as well, a generator and snowblower. Both Honda ‘s which says it all. The generator got a workout last year and ran like a champ. The snowblower works as advertised. My boat is powered with Honda outboards, quiet,economical, and reliable. Give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

I do not know how he survives. Had bad experiences every time. Kept my 20 hp Honda for months and told me he would not be able to get to it. Today I walk in for a cap on a Stihl chainsaw. The parts guy was nice but the owner told me to get the ‘F’ out of his shop when I reminded him about the Honda. I have learned my lesson no more second chances. Go to Botellos in Mashpee. Well worth the extra miles
