I took my car in to get an emissions test first thing in the morning. I was 1 of 3 people there when I arrived. Normally those checks take 20-30 min tops. Instead, I waited for an hour before anyone spoke to me. I noticed that my tail lights were on the whole time, so I assumed they had been doing the test. Instead, they then did the usual run through of hey you need new filters, new fluids, etc etc which was confusing, because that wasnt related to why I came, but oh well.I then waited another 45 minutes before they came to me to say that my emissions test had failed because my battery died and needed a new one, which they could sell me. I had them jump the battery and left.I took my car into another shop and asked them to check the battery. Absolutely nothing was wrong with the battery. Effectively they had left my battery on for nearly 2 hours, claimed the battery was dead, and tried to gauge me for more money.I will not be going back.

Ive always been happy with my oil changes at Jiffy Lube because they allow me (and my kids and frequently my dog) to stay in the car while they work on the car. This is a huge deal for me because I can keep my kids in their seats rather than run around chasing toddlers around a waiting room. This alone will keep me coming to them.

Went on 6-11-21. Was told to park in front of Bay 1 and that we had 4 vehicles before us. Was told it would take 45 minutes. Seemed easy enough. Communicated that I wanted an oil change and was told to leave the car in Bay 1. Came back and my oil change was not completed. The women made it our fault that we would leave the truck to get an oil change. Crazy, is this not an oil change establishment. Didn’t follow up with anything but an annoyance that we came to get an oil change. The checking in process was not made clear. You would think that they could at least apologize and offer to get us right in and get the oil change completed. Nothing.

I have had issues with my gear shifter not gong into park, purposely I told 2 people to let me know when it was my turn so I can pull it into their bay. 20 minutes later I see someone pulling my vehicle in and off course going into park was an issue.It then took 45 minutes for the oil change, they didnt tell me anything about my vehicle, like they used to, such as; a quart low, wiper fluid, transmission fluid, lights...Then when I asked why they didnt pay attention to having me pull in the truck the response was, oh sorry about that, you can drive it out because I dont think I would want to. HUH?This place used to be so good.

States open on Sunday 9-5. Came on Thursday to get emissions test completed, truck had been sitting for a few months and computer had reset, needed to drive vehicle 50-150 miles to get emissions data. Stated I would be coming back Sunday, “stated we’ll see you then.” Came back on Sunday around 1200 and figured they had gone to lunch, came back at 1500 no one here. The people are awesome though.

I was out of town and I had a flat and was trying to get home. The store was closing in 10 minutes and I called them and they told me to come in. I had my daughters with me and they were extremely kind and thoughtful. They fixed me up, stayed open late for me. So kind and went out of their way to help me out! They made a stressful situation wonderful! Thank you!

I bought a new set of tires for my work truck and the process went very smooth. They were done ahead of schedule as well as they pointed out a few worn out suspension components. Their manager, Will is very thorough and professional.

They did a good brake job for me but the final bill came back significantly higher than the quoted amount.

Went in yesterday to get my oil changed. As they were changing the oil they noticed a crack in my steering rack. Im so grateful they let me know - that could have potentially messed up my ability to steer and who knows what would have happened. Nothing had been abnormal with the steering to that point and I would have never in a million years even thought about it. My car only had 41k miles on it and it is super rare to get a cracked steering rack, especially on a care thats only 4 years old. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to the technician who caught this!

I went in on a Thursday evening 30 minutes prior to closing to have a serpentine belt replaced. It was a bigger job than I had anticipated, but the staff were friendly kind helpful, and seemed to be happy to help me with the job. I was very pleased with the work they did, their level of professionalism and their kindness! I would return immediately without having a second thought. The young man who helped me were George, Zach, and Harrison. A+ job, very highly recommended!

Long waits, spent all day there with suburban just to find out it wouldnt pass 🙄. Then they claimed to cut me a deal, but my part cost was still double even with discount. Took another car again long waits, unfriendly service, and and a load of BS. Took it to tunex and was in and out in about 10 minutes total. Less than 1/4 the time quoted and less than thr time I sat at jiffy lube to even ask for service. No frowns faces oe BS. I wont be back

Pretty much just like all other jiffy lubes. Every time I go there all the employees are different. The waiting room is pretty clean and I cant wait to leave.

So the $49.99 oil change was $79.00 with taxes and fees. Dont lie to me and do a bait and switch. Either your honest or not. Ill never use Jiffy Lube again. Your one and only chance in my world.

I called this morning to get a price for vehicle emissions test and renewal. The guy who answered the phone said it was $38. I was going to go through Groupon to a local Salt Lake business who was offering the service for $29, but I decided to use Jiffy Lube because it was closer. Right after I called, I got in my vehicle and took it in. When they presented me with the bill, it was $48! I would have gone to the other business had I known. Customers should be able to expect honest, upfront pricing, that doesnt change depending on the employee you talk to. I am giving it two stars for the quick service.

Needed to get my Emmission and Inspection done before end of month. They worked me right in and always do excellent job. They changed my Serpentine Belt andWater Pump last year and did a great job.

The service was OK. We spent over $150 including new windshield wipers. They didn’t even clean the windshield and checked off that they did. Small lie, big lie - it’s still a lie. Love, Karen

I went in before a road trip to the grand canyon. Initially the experience was good. My husband usually does his own oil change but we are in the process of moving and dont have a garage, so we decided to go to jiffy lube because we heard good things. Unfortunately, as the week went on a part of the car flew off! We come to find out that the bottom piece was only clipped in 3 sections instead of all 4. Never again will we go to jiffy lube. Not only was money spent on the oil change but also on the part.

Fast and Friendly service. Ryan was a pro. He completed the emissions testing for my vehicle on the 29th without delay.

The only recommendation Ive had for this location (or any Jiffy Lube in particular) is to NOT use them. Ive used them in past and always left feeling annoyed about them taking far longer than estimated, and feeling like they were trying to sell me every little thing they could think of. I decided to give them a second chance since itd been years and couldve been more convenient for me to use them. I pulled up and a kid came to my car asking what I needed, emission test. There were 2 cars in the 4 bays and he told me to pull up behind the car that was about to leave and itd be just a few minutes. I was ignored the entire time by the 5 employees there (2 were working on the other car). 25 minutes later they finally decide to get started and ask for my registration. I had left my registration at home with my renewal notice. Had they bothered to pay any attention to their customer and even attempt to stick to the timeframe, I wouldnt have wasted nearly 30 minutes of my time. I was definitely wrong about convenience. Since it has been years and their customer service is still this terrible, its not an employee issue, its a management/corporate/training issue. They need to get it together! Giving them a second chance was a mistake! If you value your time, do not go to this Jiffy Lube, because they certainly dont value it.

A few years ago, I didn’t really mind thus Jiffy Lube. After yesterday, I would never be back. They are so slow, it was over 90 in the waiting area, I had to wait 10 minutes to be greeted at all, only one person could pull my car into the bay (I did it the first time, they were then going to do an oil change and I turned that down last minute because I wasn’t comfortable with them touching my car again when I saw how long it was for them to get one car done and the fact they only had one employee who knew how to drive my car), it didn’t look like they changed procedures or tried to keep anything clean due to Covid and the list goes on. Thank god my car passed emissions and my husband can do oil changes because I never want to go back.

Just way over priced I paid 200 for a oil change and usually at other places it averages at $50

I need to change my batter and they were able to ge the right in free of charge!

The manager was awesome and willing to help me with anything I needed. Could have been a little faster but over all great service.

Got a full service oil change my car did not get vacuumed or the glass cleaned....who knows what else did not get done.

They were friendly and fast, but I’ve gone to two other mechanic shops and paid $70 top for oil change and filter. Today I was charged $110 and that didn’t include anything else. Most shops include a bundle or one set price filter included, but here they tag on as much as possible. Come here for Admissions, but NEVER for an oil change unless you enjoy paying double for what any other shop would do for half the price and same if not better quality.

I went to get a basic emissions on my 2016 vehicle and ended up with check engine light due to their test machine having issues. He reset their machine a million times while my vehicle was hooked up, and now my vehicle has a engine light on and “failed” the test. They were distracted and yelling at each other. Nobody knew what was being done. I stood out in the 90+ degree heat waiting for them for an hour and a half. The manager was more worried about other customers than me and I ended up just leaving. Big O down the fixed the problem in 10 minutes and completed my emissions. I completely regret going to this location. Do not go here for any services!!!!

Called first, they told me on the phone no cars having emissions being done, so if you come in now no wait. Pulled in to get my emissions, no cars in the bay, waited for over 15mins While 5 employees stood around one car to do an oil change? After waiting and still no one helped me. I called another place close by, they got me right in.

Came in to have the emissions done on my car at around 10:00 AM on a Saturday - at the time 2 of the 4 bays were open so I figured I would be in and out relatively quickly...Over the course of an hour an a half, I saw three people come in after me and leave before me who were also there for just an emissions test.No issues were noted with my car and I wasnt asking for additional service such as an oil change.In the end, I had zero communication as to why my car was taking so long and was extremely frustrated to find out that the answer was a whole lot of nothing.Jiffy Lube has been great in the past for me when it comes to oil changes, but I wont be coming back for much else.

Extremely good customer service. I had to change my oil it was very last minute and they didnt mind taking in my car so close to closing time. They did a very detailed work up and let me know everything that was going on with my car, without trying to push anything on me or get me to buy anything. It wasnt the quickest oil change but it was worth my time, i was in and out within 45 minutes. Great & friendly service and job well done.

So AWESOME!!! Went in for an oil change, admissions/inspections and got it all done including state registrations and was in and out within 20 minutes. Travis is a great store manager, every time I go in he and all of the his staff are so friendly and professional. Always such a wonderful experience as well as superb customer service. Thanks for replacing my cab air filter! Unfortunately you broke the mounting clip and shoved a coupon from my glovebox into the fan blades underneath the cab air filter. My fan sounds awesome now with the broken blade.My oil change was fine though👍

Gone are the days of reasonableness and affordability. $70 for a change, $60 for the filter. Total bill of $130. Also had an issue where they showed me someone else’s air filter and claimed it was mine. Tried to pressure me into replacing it. Had to show them my literal brand new filterEDIT: Upon further investigation in was discovered that the air filter was replaced for $60. Although I do believe the prices are still outlandish this is not the fault of the business here. I have upgraded from 1 to 3 starts to reflect this.

Dishonest. They will try to sell you stuff you dont need. They charge 10 times more for parts than auto parts stores and plus labour on top of that. In their own words there is only one person there who knows how to fix cars. He is not their lot of times and they mess up lot of things

I want to warn people that the brake mechanics here are not honest. My boyfriends brakes went out, so he brought it here since it was close. After examining the car, they told him that all four of his brake lines had been slashed and that they all needed to be replaced. The price tag was over $400. They said it could be normal wear and tear, but they really believed theyd been slashed, and they were adamant that it was all four. Unknown to them, my boyfriends grandpa is a mechanic, so we towed the car to him. The reality of the situation was that only one brake line needed to be replaced, and none of them were slashed. I understand that different mechanics find different things wrong, but what kind of company claims four brake lines are slashed when in reality it was only one that was worn down from normal wear and tear? His grandpa helped him fix up the car in a couple of hours for a total parts cost of $23.78. Next time Jiffy Lube gives you a hefty price tag, get a second opinion. Better yet, dont go here to begin with.

I took my car in for an oil change the other day and a great experience. The man I talked to answered all of my questions and was very helpful. Sometimes when I get my car worked on or ask car related questions I feel a bit silly because I’m not a car guy, but these employees were understanding and patient. They got the job done efficiently and I have no complaints! They even showed me everything they tested and what condition it was in.

They have always been upfront with me about the costs of service and where additional charges originate from (apparently my spark plugs are really hard to get to). They are also very good at giving me as many discounts as they can to minimize my bill. There is another Jiffy Lube closer to where I live, but the service I have received here is worth a little more distance.

Joshua and the service manager were amazing! Very knowligable and perfect gentlemen! I told them only a little detail of my situation and they were on top of it. Best service I’ve ever had hands down with a personal touch. Thank you so much for your generosity and hospitality to someone in Dire need of both.

Jiffy Lube can be hit and miss but the bountiful and centerville locations are really good.

Went in for free oil change on veterans day. I normally change my own oil, but it was free, so went. I changed my air filters before going, yet they showed me dirty ones that arent even same size as mine. Several other vets said they did the same. They take advantage of people. Would give no stars, but that is not an option.

Here in a busy Saturday morning. Fast work. The tech made sure I had a coupon for every service I accepted and wasn’t “pushy” on the services I declined. Great job!! I’ll be back. 😊

I happened to go in when no one else was there so I had all four guys worked on my car and I was in and out in like fifteen minutes. They were fun, did everything really well, and were very thoughtful. Highly recommend.

This location is so slow. I spent 90 minutes on Sunday getting an oil change. I continue to see this as an on going issue. I was there 2 weeks ago and it was a 2 hour wait . I wanted to get an oil change with my sticker but I could not get the oil change and this location was so slow. Also the AC was out both times.

Absolutely impressed with the service i received. i call the closest location to me and ask for prices on mounting and balancing. they tell me their location doesnt do it but the next closest location that does is bountiful. so after having a blow out on the highway i risk a further drive after being quoted 15 a tire. i pull in and am then quote 20 a tire. i ask the service man to double check and when comes back he qoutes me 35. more than double the original quote!! says that apparently the GM shawn told him thats the price for me. so i call the corporate office and talk to john who then quotes me a completely different price and just says thats the way it is. i am absolutely that noone from the ground up has no idea what the cost of a service is. go to big o. much beter service and price. and they honor military discounts

Dishonest,I have never left a negative google review until now. I have many issues with this location first starting when they told my sister that she needed her breaks immediately replaced as they where dangerously low, she then immediately drove over to Les Schwab to get her breaks replaced, where they called her as soon as she left to inform her that non of her breaks where anywhere close to low and that they did not recommend replacing them. I once took my car there and they showed me my air filter which they claimed was damaged and needed to be replaced and it had a very visible pinch mark where they had separated the layers of the filter, (cabin air fans dont do that to your filters) I declined and bought one online for the half the cost. Another time I was there with my sister in law and they told her that she would need a new air filter because hers was entirely missing, to which she responded well you where the last people to look at it where did it go? They said they had nothing to do with its disappearance and that someone else must have taken it out, and she would need to buy a new on she as well declined and bought one online for half the price.I write this review as I am genuinely concerned for the individuals who dont know much about their vehicles and get taken advantage of every single day at this location, this location has serious managerial issues and a complete lack of respect for those they are serving.This is frankly the most dishonest business I have ever dealt with.

I was nervous about coming here because Ive always had bad experiences. But it was a last resort situation so it had to be done. This was the first location that was impressive. Their team work is something Ive never seen before or since. Their communication with one another and how everyone knew their job and did it, was enough for me to know that they were trained well. I will definitely make the drive from West Jordan any day.

This is on two separate occasions, the first time I had to get my oil done and I went to them because they were the only ones available, I ended up driving all the way from Utah to Idaho with a loose oil cap because of them. THEN I had to get my new tags and re-register my car as well as get another oil change, I went to a few other places that were too busy and decided to finally give them another shot. They tested my car and said it failed due to a catalytic converter, I replaced that a year ago! They then offered to give me a temp license because my tags expired that day and I needed to run it for 50 miles so I paid for that as well, they also said that paying for the cheaper possibility to fix it would be better than to go into the catalytic converter, so I paid for that as well. (Cleaning the engine?) They also said replacing the CO2 valves MAY fox it as well and to consider it. All of this was unnecessary and when I did as they asked and brought it back they still said it failed. I then took it back to the mechanic that replace my catalytic converter the first time they ran it one time, cleared the check engine light and it passed! THIS LOCATION AND ANY JIFFY LUBE WILL ROB YOU BLIND IF YOURE UNSURE OF AN ISSUE!!! I feel taken advantage of and I hope anybody who reads this and knows someone who goes there, tell them to stop going there immediately!

Went in and was greeted by three young men. They asked me what I needed done and offered me advice on the spot. I took them up on most of it except the air filter because I could find a quick YouTube video on that if I wanted it changed out. They were done quickly and efficiently. The only reason I couldnt give them 5 stars was because they never called me when they were done. I just came back about a half hour after they said they would be completed, and it was done.

JD, the manager, gave us excellent service. He was very understanding and kind, gave us a great deal and wonderful service and advice.

These guys are awesome! Super quick, very nice, and really honest! Let’s face it, Jiffy lube is usually known as the used car version of a shop. They get services out quick, cheap but subpar to industry standards....these guys are the exception! They are ridiculously honest and actually care about the level of service they give their customers!

Been here twice poor service and untrained tech. First time oil filter as loose. Now tech doesn’t show up to work on time and have to go to a different store to get job done.

Went in with my diesel 3500 Cummins. They handled everything super well. Had them change the fuel filter and water sep filter. Close to$500 but much better price than the dealer. If it was a bit cheaper Id have given 5 stars.

The guy was so helpful with my windshield wipers. It was great. He even told me that they could fix the rock chip I have in my windshield.

Sorry guys, I always come here and usually have a good experience, but when you can’t honor a coupon that’s in your website because ‘the codes not working’ you figure out how to make it work, not just tell the customer sorry it won’t work- customer service 101.

Been in twice. Both times took much longer than they said it would and both times they told me I needed stuff done that I really didn’t. I had a rock chip already repaired. They said it wasn’t done right and needed to be done again. I fell for it. They said it would look different and you wouldn’t be able to see any of the cracks after they were done. It looked exactly the same and after verifying with the original person, turns out jiffy lube lied. Will not be back.
