Im about a week out from purchasing a luxury Volkswagen from these guys and already have nearly 1k miles on the car. Its fast, smooth, was in nearly perfect shape despite being 7 years (gulp) old, and Im ecstatic. The car also came from Texas and was transferred up to Bountiful from the St. George location. Not a peep of rust. It, and the experience, were completely awesome. I got a great deal. They changed the oil and rotated the tires. The car was detailed. Etc etc etc. The honesty out of these guys was **just awesome** and Im a savvy car buyer and strong mechanic and I can spot a car-lie a mile away, and I experienced none of that typical BS. The place and culture are great. The owner is obsessed with Porsches. He does it in a manner thats classy and jobs of fun. Funndamentally they are just good people. The cars are just awesome. The worst experience I’ve ever had with a salesman in any regard. Boyd was extremely disrespectful. To preface, I had been messaging him about the Audi. I told him I could come in on Monday and he told me they were closed that Monday, but that he would already be in the office at 2:30 to finish up a deal with a customer so it was perfectly fine if I came in then. I showed up a little bit early to be respectful of his time. Boyd shows me the car (asked him a couple questions about the car that I had seen on carfax and didn’t know what I was talking about). I take it for a drive, I love the car. I take it back and make him an offer, doesn’t take me seriously that I can pay cash. I tell him I’ll pay cash at the offer I gave, which wasn’t far off from what he was asking. He says no, clearly irritated, so I tell him I’m going to go take a look at another car elsewhere, and that I’ll think about the price he is asking and he proceeds to yell, “You’re seriously shopping for cars on my day off!?” (After he told me he would be there anyway) After yelling at us, turns around, walks into his office and doesn’t say another word, doesn’t walk us out, nothing. The worst customer service I’ve ever witnessed. The sad thing is I would have purchased the car but I don’t want to deal with Boyd. Definitely not worth your time.

Boyd was the most helpful, down to earth and transparent car sales person I’ve ever worked with. He went all out for us. He offered to drive the car we wanted all the way from St George to Bountiful so we could test drive it. He also said he could beat our credit union’s loan terms, which he did and then he even drove our truck all the way back to our house in Huntsville after the sale. It was the complete opposite experience than the dealership we went to previously who tried to gouge us to death for hours with back and forth negotiations and a super high interest rate. But none of that hassle with Boyd. We drove away with our dream just an hour after arriving. We will always buy our cars from him now. Pleasantly surprised.

Good car, ok service. There is some slight damage on my bumper , Derek said they would get if buffed out for me and then never got back to me about an appointment after I reached out multiple times…Edit: I definitely live more than 15 minutes away and I did not purchase an e-tron, it was a different car. We spoke 3 times about the bumper, once the day of purchase, a week after, and then in June as well after I didn’t hear back. I will not be coming in for a service.

Drove all the way up from Lehi just to be told that the car I wanted to look at had been sold earlier in the week. Then the salesman that attended me gave me BMW options that were in St. George. When I asked what was on the lot, the salesman condescendingly said that the Beamers were ‘17 and newer, as if I couldn’t afford them. Bad service, bad business, bad salespeople.Edit: First off, dont call me a liar and then try to make me look bad for your future prospects. I had an appointment to see the car on Friday, I have the email thread to prove it. Its not a 30 minute drive, its 38 miles in traffic during rush hour on a Friday. If the BMW sold on Wednesday, that gives your dealership 2 whole days to alert me. If Derek was sick, then he should have informed someone else to let me know ahead of time. Its a courtesy since your dealership knows whats in inventory and the customer doesnt.Second, there was no one in the office except the salesman when my fiance and I walked in, check the cameras. If there was a deal being made over the phone, computer, or if the prospect had left the office for a brief moment, we should have been informed so we didnt interfere. We would have politely waited our turn or have gone to check the inventory on the lot. Also, I didnt ask what else was in that price range, I asked what else was in inventory. My fiance who was there can attest to this, the customer who wasnt sitting at the desk at the time cannot.Lastly, Im not leaving a 1-star review to damage your business. I graduated and work as a digital marketer, I fully understand how important reviews are to the success of a business. Im just sharing my experience with your dealership so this doesnt happen again to other customers. I asked my fiance NOT to leave a bad review for this same reason. If I really wanted to damage your reputation, Id use multiple burner accounts and a VPN to hurt your scores across multiple platforms.I was going to cuss on the review on purpose so Google bots would flag this review and it wouldnt be visible to anyone but you and me, but nah, you guys earned this review. I also dont appreciate the way you responded to me and attacked my experience. This says more about your business than it does about me.

Great service! Went in on a Saturday night before closing and Boyd was not bothered one bit that we were there before closing and even started the financing process that same night! He got my husband and I in a great family vehicle! When we went to sign for our vehicle he had all the documents ready and saved us a lot of time, which is important when you have two toddlers! The guy that was helping me (don’t even remember his name but I have his phone #) was pretty upset when I tried to get feedback from my dad while I was car shopping. He was pretty demeaning when I wanted to take a night to think about it. He is unprofessional in the way he texts his potential clients. It was pretty much a pretty stressful experience and when he found out I got a car from velocity auto sales he felt that he could text me and try to make me feel bad about the situation and saying I wouldn’t get approved anywhere else. I would definitely not recommend this place because you should feel confident in going and buying a car. Not feel pressured that the salesman will get upset if you don’t choose that car. I’m surprised he would even text me the way he did knowing I could post it on reviews. Attitude is everything when it comes to sales. Try it next time and you’ll earn a sell :)

These guys are honest and efficient. They fix what needs to be fixed for a competitive price; they don’t overcharge you. They have outstanding customer service and they always take great care of me whenever I need them. Houston and Josh are fantastic. I have a 2006 Audi A6 that has been kept in great shape thanks to Specialties Auto and their staff.

They were absolutely terrible to work with. They sold me a truck that was advertised as having cruise control. I discovered a minutes after driving away that it was not working and called immediately. They said they would look it it. When I brought it in they treated me like a criminal and told me I bought it AS IS and that it was my problem. I had to force the issue. They made a cursory attempt to resolve the cruise control and then told me I was on my own. They robbed me on my trade-in, only giving me 6600 for a vehicle booking at 10000. They then tried to take advantage of my friend and sell my car to her for 13,500. Their specialty is ripping you off. BEWARE!!!!1

Ive never had a worse experience in my life. I would never recommend going to them. My husband bought a car and we have had to take it in so many times and the first time was the day after we bought it. It had a coolant leak and then two days later we saw the intake boots had been cut and taped back together. I could go on and on but the worst part about it is Im pregnant and I cant trust it to get from my home to the hospital.

Being a single female, i feel really vulnerable when it comes to getting my car fixed. Specialties Auto continues to impress me with their excellent customer service. Everyone there has been great to work with. Josh is my favorite--super smart, excellent communicator, and just now found and fixed the problem that the Honda dealership couldnt even find. The buying process was great. The product not so much. Great looking 2012 Honda Odyssey. Day three of having it home it was leaking on our garage floor. Turns out the leak is going to need a new power steering pump, rack and pinion for $2,300 plus the cv boot is leaking and there is another seal that needs to be replaced. All this adds up to over $3,000+ dollars and this is the start of the list , the warranty that I bought does nothing for me. Out of the two key fobs it came with one works ok(has new battery in it) the other literally fell apart when we tried to start the car.

Before I leave this dealership I need to write a review. *I did not purchase a car here. But I wanted to! Representative Derek had a “no pressure, happy to help” attitude that made me WANT to buy a car. As someone in the customer service business, I can say the staff here are great. I will keep my eye on this dealer in the future.

These guys are awesome to work with. I’ve had my Volkswagen in for multiple services and they have done a great job every time. The staff is very friendly, their pricing is better than anyone I’ve worked with and they get everything done quick. They won’t try to scam you and tell you that you need more parts if they aren’t needed. I had them do my brakes. Every other shop I went to tried to tell me they HAD to do rotors, pads and sensors. My car has 50,000 miles on it. I was told by the other shops that there was no way around it and their prices were almost double. I went into Jared at Specialties and they were upfront about everything with super low prices. My car did not need all the extra parts these other guys insisted on and I’ve had absolutely no issues with the vehicle after the guys at Specialties for their hands on it. I won’t take my car anywhere else for services. Highly recommend

My wife and I were looking for an SUV to better accommodate my height (6’8”). We found this immaculate Cadillac online and it led us to these guys. Couldn’t ask for a better price on it, so I was all smiles to begin with. Derek was our guy. Grade-A dude to begin with. We sat in the lobby for a few minutes while I knew I was rudely interrupting his lunch break. He came out with a smile and a great attitude. Super personable and willing to get down and dirty. We traded in a leased vehicle, and he offered a fair price for it, more than I expected for sure. I had some convincing to do with the wife, since she likes to take 4 days to pull the trigger on anything. I asked for some floor mats and window tint to be included, and Derek, the quality guy that he is, didn’t bat an eye and said yes without hesitation. That was when I knew I was making the right choice. About 2 days after we drove away, I thought we had a brake problem with it, so I gave Derek a call and explained to him my concern. He got me an appointment with his service department within a week, and they went through it to be sure it was safe to operate. Turns out I’m just crazy, but better safe than sorry. Everyone forgets about the finance guy, but I didn’t. He was funny, knew his stuff, and made signing my life away very easy. I walked out laughing and happy to spend my money. All in all, these guys have my business for any used car I decide to snag in the future. Also, be sure to take a detour to their bathroom. Their toilet seat is something I have never seen before!!

Ive always financed my own cars to obtain the best interest rate, however Boyd was able to get the financing for me at a better rate than my credit union... and he did it a LOT faster and with a lot less hassle than my credit union and bank. I not only saved money but I save a ton of time. This was not the stereotypical car sales experience. Very professional, friendly and fast. I highly recommend!

BEST CAR DEALERSHIP IN THE STATE. My wife and I have purchased several vehicles from Specialties Auto and each time we are reminded about why we continue to go back. No pressure sales, staff that cares about your positive experience, and a service staff that communicates! Imagine that! I thought I had received the best rate and terms at my local, big name credit union. Nope. Specialties in house finance team has relationships with the biggest pool of auto lenders. Outcome = The auto lenders fought for our loan and Specialties negotiated rate and terms that the lender cant even advertise.My biggest smile came when my wife drove home and she told me how well she was treated and genuinely excited they were for her. Had a GM dealership fix a recall on 2011 corvette, the fixed the recall but messed up the shift linkage. They wouldn’t fix it. Took my corvette to Specialties auto in centerville, they replaced the broken shift cable that the dealer crushed on the lift. I have had my 1998 corvette repaired at specialties also. They do great work. Will take all my vehicles to them. Not the GM dealerships. Thanks Speacialties

I have to say that this was the most pleasant car buying experience that i have had. I worked with Boyd to make the deal and he answered all of my questions, went out and sent me multiple pictures of the vehicle, and was very easy to work with.
