I Always find bargains/sales @ the Bountiful location. However they have all the yarn along the back in a Very DARK AREA. IS IT A CAVE!!? ARE THEY WANTING YOU TO GUESS AT WHAT YOU ARE SEEING/BUYING!!?? I also shop @ the Sugarhouse location. All of their yarn is displayed in a Very well lite area of the store. And it always seems to have Much more in stock compared to the Bountiful location. I buy a lot of yarn and crafts. I do shop at the competition. They have much better/bigger areas that are decorated nicely. And they have the free brochures that guide you to making your own diy

I always have to get the manager to help, the employees don’t know how to do a simple online return , plus I have to wait in line to pay for over 5 mins because they don’t have enough employees, and every single time I get a voucher the employees can’t ever find it under my phone number when that’s the phone number on my Michael’s rewards. Plus the employees aren’t helpful you ask them where they have something located and they just say “ at the end of the store “ they never tell you the aisle even if you show them a online item that is in stock in the store they won’t help you find it !

Ive been to this Michaels store a number of times. The staff is always willing to help, answer questions, locate items, and help you find your coupons on your phone.Michaels store has a large variety of craft supplies.From individual items to supplement supplies that you may want to add to the supplies you already have. They also have kits to make craft projects, which is great if you just want to try something new to see if you like it.They have decorations that are already done or that you can add your own ideas to them.They also have a large variety of decorative storage boxes, and a variety of totes to organize your supplies.I would suggest checking them out online. That way you can find the Michaels store nearest you, to make sure they have what youre looking for in stock.

I like Michaels because its really quiet. You can actually stand and see what you need in the aisles. By the way Im the one who bought one of your big scarecrows. We really enjoy him we named him Tim Tom

Was here to buy a pen for my wife. Asked a employee where they were located and she told me, other side of store. Went over their and 2 employees came into the aisle and hovered and watched me as if I was up to no good. Was it my tattoos? My $300 leather jacket that was covering them? Not sure but I really didnt appreciate it. Walked right out of the store without buying a thing. Was looking for a fancy fountain type pen that my wife wanted to buy for her boss who was transferring to another state. Was prepared to spend about $100. Michaels will never get a dime from me ever. EVER.

I visited Michaels today in the height of the Christmas rush. The clerk ARIANA was very sweet and helpful. I was having trouble with the app and this sweet young woman (about 20 years old, brown hair) was so caring and nice. It is refreshing to shop in a store where the clerks are friendly and attentive.MICHAELS CONTINUES TO AMAZE ME! They have the best employees! It is always a pleasure to shop here

The store is relatively clean, not enough associates, always have to wait 5+ minutes to check out and associates are not happy you are spending money & providing them job security.

I always leave annoyed when I go to this location because they are ALWAYS out of the clay I need. When I ask when it will be restocked they always just say they aren’t sure. You are the one who works here why don’t you know? In addition to never being fully stocked, the employees are slow and unhelpful. They are always visibly annoyed when I have a question. The coupon is good but the staff needs serious help.

I shop here on the regular for my job and my own crafting. If you get a good employee, its a great experience. Theres a lot of turnover, however, and not everyone is knowledgeable or super helpful. My biggest gripe is that they make it a big deal to honour my educator discount. Every time I go in, theres a different hoop to jump through: first it was a paper coupon to show; next it was tied to my phone number/rewards program; just today I was told I have to get the app and re-register. I just need the dang 20% discount, Mike!

Not a good experience. Bought a frame and found out right after that they were buy one get one free. The worker who helped us said that she didnt tell us because not everyone wants the free one.To get the deal we had to return our first frame and rebuy it. Then they told us the extra frame we picked actually wouldnt be part of the deal until the NEXT DAY and they wouldnt budge at all, even if the posted signage implied it would be included.Will probably try Hobby Lobby next time. Really poor customer service. Our cashier was nice, but the manager was not helpful.

Love this store!! I am a professional artist and this is my GO TO store whenever I need supplies. I always buy Prismacolor pencils (they retail for 2$ a pencil there), Copic markers, Strathmore sketchbooks, polymer clay, watercolor and acrylic paints... etc. They have tons of craft supplies, traditional art supplies, art electronics, sewing machines, fabrics, wedding and holiday decorations / supplies, sculpture making supplies, baking supplies, etc. They have SO many things here, I totally recommend this store for anyone! 10/10!

The deals are always incredible and I love crafts, but the aisles were very narrow and crowded. It was a frustrating maze to walk through.

It is a good craft store and location. They keep nice amounts of inventory. Its clean and organized. They do a good job of using digital and paper coupons. I love their decor items. Unfortunately their no receipt return policy is frustrating (even for the employeeswho may not be well trained on it so dont lose or forget yours) and the lines can be long. So dont expect it to be a quick trip.

First time ordering online. Went to pick up my paint and they had thrown two bottles of paint that were opened, dried paint all over the bottles. One bottle was half empty and the other was a third empty. When I asked for better bottles they needed two people to figure out what to do. All I asked for were two new bottles but they went through the whole return process. When they asked me to put in my credit card to return the money I asked again for just the paint and they finally just went and got me the two bottles. Should have gone to DickBlick.

We found their Halloween section.... Lacking. There was nothing better than what you can find at At Home for a third of the pricePlus, they didnt have very many coloring books 😬

Michaels is a good place for people who like crafts. However at times they have long lines to check out.

One of many stores in this chain across the Wasatch Front. (and Im sure nation wide) It is one of the cleaner and better organized locations that I have been to. Friendly staff, nice stock of general craft supplies. In the past few years they have really upped their game on home decor items. They also carry a nice collection of decor items for holidays. Their decorative baking isle is also pretty decent. You can usually find a 40% off coupon for a single item online or using their app.

Had what we wanted

I shop at this Michaels pretty often and I love their selection and sale prices. I really wish that their checkout process was faster though, because 9 out of 10 times I end up waiting in line forever because they typically only have one cashier and don’t call another until the line is ridiculously long. I have to say though that the employees are always friendly, which helps, but my time is valuable too.

Was able to find most of what I wanted easily, with a few things, specifically supplies for bookbinding, and the rest I can order online. Overall a pretty positive experience as the store was clean and organized.

My wife and I wanted to do some crafting and make a quiet book for our son. We found all the “ingredients” we needed and they were very reasonably priced. They had more than enough items to look through. There was so much to look at I don’t even think I saw it all! We will definitely go back for more projects in the future.

Visited yesterday. 2 stars for the products they sell(all are great,) and thats it. There was only what appeared to be two workers. 1 cashier, and 1 running around the store. I was in a rush, with my infant, running around the whole store trying to find someone to ask for help. When I finally found someone, there were many people asking her questions as well. When I got to the line, with only 1 cashier, the line was long. When it was my turn in line, I was not greeted by the cashier, just rung me up and was on her phone the entire time.

They always have any craft supplies that you could need. They dont run out of stock usually and they have good prices and helpful employees. Crafty people, this is heaven!!

Love Michaels! Clean and has everything you could ever want. I love the bead selection. I make Mala’s and I come here a lot. I love the coupons and sales. I am only giving it four stars due to the fact that overall many items are way overpriced in comparison to other places you can buy comparable items and thus I think it would have a lot more traffic. If you are looking for paint or small items then you are good to go.

The idea of a clerk following a minority myself around to see if Im going to actually get anything or not. Even though I spent $150 on Christmas decorations there this weekend. That is annoying. If a minority cant shop there and peace and the only reason why I bought anything there was because my Caucasian girlfriend wanted the merchandise otherwise I myself would have walked out.

We have gotten a couple different things framed here at the Bountiful, Utah store and we are very unimpressed. They have done a poor job of communicating with us and the job they did on our painting was horrible. It looked like a 5 year old framed our painting. For the money we paid we are very unhappy. Will not be going back to this store.

Well its a craft store... its what you would expect. Its usually a bit of a mess but it is also kind of a busy place. That being said I cant remember the last time I was offered help, or was given much help when I asked. There is usually not enough employees to take care of the daily tasks so they dont want to stop and actually do more than point a finger and say down there... they also dont have much product knowledge. I often have sticker shock when I see their prices, if I dont have a coupon for 40% or better its not worth it...

The staff is very helpful. Whenever I cant seem to find what Im looking for they are always ready to jump up and help me search the store even if theyre not totally sure if they carry the item. they really know how to make you feel valued as a customer. I really never had a poor experience here. I also really appreciate how clean and organized they keep the place too. It seems like the type of store that would probably become disorganized easily, but they really stay on top of it.

The aisles are very small since they pack so much into the store. I love the clearance items. Actually, I love everything you can get there, but I have a obsession with clearance. They have exceptional clearance prices. But, the skinny aisles (even the main aisles) is so suffocating, I dont go in as much as I would like.

I have to give myself @ the very least 2 hours here as there is isle after isle of ALL things crafty! Other than the check-out line set up that makes absolutely no sense & takes forever.. All else is Great!

Love the location and coupons! I only gave it a 4 because while other locations have seasonal stuff out they still have nothing available which is late. Great availability for craft supplies, decor and framing needs.

I am so impressed with the customer service at this location. I called looking for something specific and they went above and beyond in helping me locate what I was looking for. As I had to hold for several minutes as they were checking on the item, someone checked in with a status update every few minutes so I didnt feel like I was left hanging.

Most always have what I need! And their Halloween decorations pretty much BEAT any Halloween store out there, by price and quality...
