A friend and I stopped by for the first time and we’re in awe of all the large and very nice furniture pieces. I would categorize this place as more of a “stuffy high end antique furniture and statement piece store” than a “look around and explore odds and ends treasure hunt shop” which is what my friend and i like. He has two different shops in the same building and had to walk us over to the other end and after we complimented the amazing pieces he had (an antique saloon bar with mirror and large hutches, most of which he was asking in the thousands for...) he was put out when we didn’t buy anything. He actually said half joking “You can’t come back next time unless you buy something”. Extremely rude. Well i will not come back, nor will I refer anyone to see your stuff museum-like shop.

The real deal here! Honest prices. Beautiful furniture that is totally unique and can’t find in any old store. The owner has the best stories and you’ll almost want to go in just so you can sit and hear stories of where he found all his gems. I promise you’ll have a positive experience and when you see the sign “Garner’s Antiques” STOP and step in...you won’t regret it!

Love the Garner Antiques stores! I recently purchased some beautiful stained glass windows from one of their locations that had been saved from an old church. Their selection is great and they treat their customers very well! I have had multiple positive experiences.

I was visiting Bountiful recently and was introduced to these two stores! They are a couple of doors apart, so its easy to see both - even when there is only one person attending both. He was willing to lock one door and let us in to the other with no hesitation. Each has a little different feel, but both have excellently curated selections of early American (think mid-America) and a little later furniture and smalls. It was delightful to explore, and any questions were answered with skill and detail. Prices are on the upper end of the range for the furniture, but Im unfamiliar with the local economy and they reflect a selection that is well-preserved and interesting -- no junk. A trip to Garners is definitely worth the time.
