This branch has gone down hill in the past year or so. The past 8 times I have had to get a prescription the wait time is horrendous in drive through. You wait 20-30 minutes due to Covid testing. They have 2 drive thrus one doesnt work. So if you are picking up a prescription or dropping off you may be waiting 25-45 minutes in line. I have had get out of line and go inside. I have been behind people where they told to come back in 1 hour and the script is not ready. I called in a script and was told to pick up after 11 next day and if its not ready they will call you. Nope you go there wait 1/2 hour in line to find its not there. Not sure if its the management issues or what but time to go to another branch. Sorry. I have read bad things about the staff which to me they have been fine its the wait time thats just horrendous.

Outstanding Customer Service! Jad and Jenn made my day! Very grateful! After hunting for flu vaccination at CVS and told off, I proceeded to call Walgreens and OMG the young lady on the phone was attentive and caring, told me I could walk in! I am grateful specially after the Pathetic experience with CVS earlier telling me I needed an appointment yet there was no one after she tended the customer prior to me.Place is friendly clean and customer centric!Again kudos to Jad and Jenn

Don’t bother making an appointment for vaccine - they don’t respect them. Don’t bother filling out forms online - they make you fill them out on paper anyway. This is the first and last time I will come to Walgreens for this.

If you are concerned that you may have Covid and need a test, go to CVS or any other provider. I’ve been waiting over 3 days now for results. The lab they are using Aegis is horribly slow and very poor customer service. Such a large company, you would think Walgreens would have a more expedited process for dealing with something so important. Frustrated in isolation.

The worst experience I ever had. I have a paper prescription from my doctor, not controlled medication and the pharmacist name Jeenala refused to fill it up because it is a physical paper. I said she can call my doctor, she started yelling at me very loud on top of her voice. Very rude, apathetic, unprofessional, ill-mannered. She doesn’t deserve to be there. She can explain to me in a better way the reason instead of insulting me which she did. I am very disappointed.

This store as always is very convenient to buy but it is unpleasant to see that there are still people who dont want to help others.Today I saw a cashier (Katherine), who was very evident that she knew Spanish, didnt help a Hispanic lady who needed it.I had to mediate myself to be able to help this user. This lady thanked me at the end and also questioned the treatment of this employee. Could it be that Managment no longer care about the users opinion? It would be good to re-read the policies of customer service charges.

The store manager, Manuel is very engaging with his customers and exemplifies what great customer service is supposed to be. I remember visiting the store a few days after Sandy hit and told me that if I needed to charge my phone and that there are available outlets to use..just recently after another visit, he took time out to help me figure out how to transfer my photos from my phone to print. He really took time to help and is a very genuine person. Im glad there are still managers who display this type of service with a smile. Thank you.

My problem isnt with the store, but with the pharmacy. Im getting sick and tired of rude, defensive, anal pharmacists and this pharmacy has a few great ones. Plus they arbitrarily select how many days before your prescription is due you can pick it up. Ridiculous! If Im going to run out of paper towels, do I wait until Im out and then rush to the store. No, I plan ahead. Why wouldnt I do the same with my medications. I told this to a pharmacist (the short one) and she obviously didnt know what arbitrary meant so my point was missed. So much for her education! These big chain pharmacies are a bunch of bologna. They try to make you think they are caring and compassionate about your care but they honestly are just there to make money. Ive found a wonderful pharmacy in Kenilworth with a kind pharmacist who goes out of his way trying to save me money and even driving my medication to my house if necessary. Walgreens makes me sick and I have no intention of ever going back.

Lowering my rating to 2 Stars. Check out is complete chaos. Young, inexperienced clerks have no idea what they are doing. Stare aimlessly into the sky while no ones in line, but when its time to work with a line building they suddenly realize that someone else is logged onto the register and they are waiting for that person to show up to log back in. Utterly ridiculous poor service. They need to hire more competent workers.Prior ReviewAlways a delay at that pharmacy. Never enough help.Often times you wait at the checkout waiting for a cashier to show up. Store needs better managerial over site.

I can never get the items I come looking for (Beauty). I am constantly told to come back next Thursday/Friday when they get their truck but when I do they tell me the didn’t get the item or to try again later. They refused to check stock in the back claiming there are too many boxes. Walgreens app shows they have 15 of the item I want but it doesn’t seem to exist in the store. So disappointed as this is now the 5th time they have done this to me.

Absolutely terrible experience. Rude, abnoxious. Sat for 20 minutes to pick up an rx. Pharmacist told me my insurance was rejected, total nonsense. Was there a week prior to pick up an rx and have had no insurance changes in 5 yrs. Pathetic service. Moving all future rxs to cvs.

Pharmacy has ONE nice person maybe 2 there. I am or was a regular there.FUNNY, HOW THEY QUESTION A SCRIPT AT 8 PM AND SAID THEY HAD TO CALL THE DR. I TOOK IT BACK AND WENT TO THE PHARMACY IN SOMERVILLE AND NO ISSUES I HAD A LEGIT SCRIPT.I WOULD GIVE THE PHARMACY A ZERO IF I COULD!!!HOW DARE THEY QUESTION YOU WHEN YOU HAVE A LEGIT SCRIPT. THEY ARENT THE DRS AND ITS FUNNY CUZ THEY ARE THE ONLY PHARMACY THAT DOES THATDO NOOOOOOT GO THERE THEY ARE JUDGEMENTAL AND SHOULD DO THEIR JOBSI AM SUCH A REGULAR THERE THAT ANY GOOD REVIEW IS BY A WORKER THERE

No one picks the call, I called the pharmacy until i got there put the phone on speaker to see why theyre not answering, at 11:15 pm I met the past two staff seating outside for the night, and when i asked them if they are open they said yes, so why are they outside when they need to be attending to customers, poor customer service i have to say.

As long as its not too busy it usually take the pharmacy department about 10 minutes or less to fill the prescriptions im waiting for; a great place!
