I’ve been taking drum lessons here for a little over a year now and it’s been great! I’ve had two different instructors, and the transition between was great, especially since such a shake up can be tough to navigate for learning a new instrument. Furthermore, the studio took the pandemic in stride and I’ve made tons of progress- even with Zoom lessons while staying safe and healthy.Shouts out to Chase, he’s awesome and a great instructor!

I am taking violin lessons with Summer. I am an older adult who decided I wanted to learn something new and chose the violin, I have not played an instrument since high school. I cant believe I am actually learning to play the violin!Summer is a wonderful teacher she has helped me understand so much about technique and musical theory with the violin. I really respect her knowledge and her style of teaching, I cant imagine a better teacher.If you are thinking of learning violin or any instrument I highly recommend The Lesson Studio.

My daughter started taking guitar lessons with Charlie less than a year ago and has discovered previously unknown musical talents! Both Charlie and Chris, her rock band instructor, are greatly appreciated for their expertise, enthusiasm and dedication to their craft. Gary is a refreshing blend of friendliness, professionalism, and accessibility. What a find!

I have been an adult learner at the lesson studio for years. Gary and his team of talented musicians are the best in the area. Their electronic system provides opportunity to share music and class notes and manage makeup lessons. Their voice lessons are fantastic with experienced and well trained teachers. Teachers tailor your lesson to appropriate skill development and promote growth. My children have enjoyed saxophone, and guitar lessons as well and have had fun while improving their skills.

Our 11-year old son has been doing his trombone lessons at the Lesson Studio with a great instructor, April. Shes been very motivating to him, and he is progressing nicely. We receive detailed notes after each lesson, which is a nice detail. His trip to the Lesson Studio is a weekly highlight for him. Highly recommended.

I started taking piano lessons with Ryan Benthall and couldnt be happier! Hes very knowledgeable about many styles of music and makes every lesson a great experience!I highly recommend the lesson studio; the space is awesome and Gary the owner is a great guy who has been very accommodating and helpful as we all try to figure out how to navigate Covid-19.

The Lesson Studio has been a great find for our family during Covid. My son has started drum lessons with Taylor and has done a mix of in-person (with masks) and online. Ive been taking piano lessons here for well over a year now, and I can safely say it was one of my better decisions. The staff has been friendly and helpful at every turn. The first teacher they paired me with was great, and Ive stuck with him, so the only thing I can tell you about the other teachers is that when they spoke at the recital last winter, they all seemed engaged and interested in their students.

My kids have been going to The Lesson Studio for years. The teachers and staff have been consistently excellent, and have taught and encouraged my kids on multiple instruments and aspects of music. I like that they offers both individual/personal practice and band/group practice.

We absolutely love The Lesson Studio!Our son has received expert guitar instruction from the beginning. This includes instructors who are in tune with a young kid wanting to learn to play guitar and learning to read music up to advanced instruction. Ive been taking piano lessons from Hugh at The Lesson Studio for about three years, and its been a great experience. Rather than sticking to just lesson books, Hugh has encouraged me to learn more difficult classical pieces. Ive enjoyed my piano so much more since I started taking lessons, and Ive improved a lot! I travel a fair amount, and the studio has been flexible about finding time for me to make up lessons.

Our son has been taking drum lessons at The Lesson Studio for the past year and a half. He has made great strides in fine tuning his technique and learning new methods. His instructors have been great!He also has played in a rock band as part of the Rock and Pop Music Academy offered at TLS. The bands get to choose their own songs and the coaches are great at helping them work together to gel as a group. Most of all he loves the gigs that all the bands get to play each semester. The experience and confidence gained is really fantastic. It is pretty amazing to see your kid, and all the other bands, on stage performing!!!We will continue to rock at TLS!

We love the lesson studio! The guitar instructors (for our son) have always been incredibly attuned to how to teach kids and he has flourished in their programs.

Our family has been with The Lesson Studio for over three years. Our daughter takes piano, our son guitar and I take the ukulele. I love how the rest of the family can relax in the lobby while the others have their lesson. The communication has always been great with the front desk and Ive always found The Lesson Studio to be very flexible when we needed to change our lesson schedule. The instructors have been excellent and very kind with the kids while at the same time encouraging them to work on their music. There are also recital opportunities (not mandatory) so that the students can show what theyve learned. I notice that there are quite a few adult students and I like that too. Very inclusive. Overall, after three plus years I cant imagine us taking lessons anywhere else. Were all very happy.

The Lesson Studio has been a superb experience for my family. I have three kids who take different lessons at the studio, as well as voice, as well as an A Cappella group,Vox Rocks. The girls are in a Rock Band and have had the best time doing that, playing music they love and performing at the Fox Theater. They love it and say its their favorite activity they do. The teaching staff is nothing less than excellent and they really personalize the experience for all of their students. I dont have enough nice things to say about this business. Kudos. Bravo. Well Done! Well be there for a long time!

Our kids have been taking lessons at The Lesson Studio for many years, and we have always felt that the teachers were knowledgeable and caring. Our kids have progressed and have learned a lot through the years. We feel our kids have benefited greatly from their experience there.

I found the instructors to be a mix of good and mediocre (as far as teaching skills, not talent -- they all seemed to be talented), but my biggest complaint was with the owner and his unwillingness to be flexible around extenuating circumstances. I paid for a full semester and got only three classes out of it, because he was not willing to refund my unused classes which I needed due to a major conflict that developed with my work schedule. Even a gym will let you out of a contract or at least allow some flexibility for extenuating circumstances. Be aware that if you give him money and you have some valid, documented reason that you can no longer attend, this guy will not refund a single penny. His suggestion (twice now) has been that I wait a few months and try again, or that I come in nights or weekends when I have other activities planned. I fully understand that a contract is a contract, but I found his insistence that I wait months on end and/or try to make my schedule suit him to be extremely unprofessional. When the day comes that my schedule allows me to take lessons again, I will NOT be returning to TLS. Good riddance.

I can sing, and thats something i couldnt say 6 months ago. ive just started my second semester of vocal lessons at the lesson studio and i couldnt be more satisfied.
