We had an outstanding experience with Leah and her team at Full Cycle and CO Multisport. The convenience of utilizing their services to anyone visiting from out of town cannot be overemphasized - they met us at the trailhead, with the bikes/helmets, water, snacks and off we went on a guided tour. The ride was suited to our level and was very enjoyable. Leah was great fun on the tour and made all five of us feel very comfortable/confident on the bikes; took us through challenging terrain with amazing views. She also took photos of us on and off the bikes and sent us a great video on a cool route mapping app afterwards. I highly recommend this group to anyone looking for a mountain biking adventure in Boulder.

Are you looking for a bike shop that treats you condescendingly when bringing your bike in for a repair? Are you looking for a bike shop that orders the wrong equipment for your bike so it takes them two months to do a simple repair? Are you looking for a bike shop that scoffs in your face when you ask for a discount after all the inconvenience? If these features sound appealing then head on over to full cycle. If not, support a Local bike repair shop. At least they fixed the bike but it was a major headache and I’ve never had these kind of troubles at any other shop.

I was among a large visiting group who enjoyed two days of gravel bike rental from Full Cycle Bikes while in Boulder for a friends wedding. I had some issues with the rental bike on my second day of riding & there were some initial concerns about who was at fault. To Full Cycles credit, all was resolved after a reasonable review of my circumstances - at no small cost to Russell the owner, I might add. Thanks to Full Cycle Bikes, I have a new love of gravel bikes... they can expect to see me back there soon! Great store, great experience - thank you.

Tried to buy a part and the employee helping me (late middle aged, white, blueish eyes) refused sell it to me without also installing it (for a fee, of course.) What kind of scam artists run this shop, that thats how they treat someone whos ready to spend money, cash in hand? Save your time and your money, go somewhere else.

The trail bike I rented was in great shape. That is the positive. However, the store opens at 10, and I wanted to ride first in the am. I called to ask if I could pickup the bike the end of the prior day, and I was told there would be an early pickup fee for this. To be clear, my request was to pickup the bike at the end of the prior day so that I could ride before 10am. Other bike shops in Boulder allow for this, but Full Cycle have me two options: either rent for a full 2nd day, or pay a $15 “convenience fee”. This policy is ridiculous, because picking the bike up at the end of the prior day would not reduce the shop’s rental prospects at all. The only impact would be that this customer could use the bike in the early am, and could avoid the 30 minute wait to checkout the bike when the shop opened at 10:00.This lack of flexibility is very different than what you find with other bike shops in Boulder, where rental periods are 24 hours.

I loved Full Cycle and CO Multisport before, but now that they merged its fantastic!! Its a great location and store but I have to say the thing I like the most about them, are the people. They are so helpful, knowledgeable, and the best thing is.........not arrogant. I bike alot, but am terrible at maintenance. Ive tried several other bike shops in the Front Range for maintenance and repairs and you get talked down to, and made to feel like an idiot. I have never felt that at Full Cycle from any of the team. Whether you bike alot or a little, they talk to you in a supportive and respectful way regardless of ability. They will definitely get my continued repeat business and recommendations to friends!

They do great work building and servicing! They have good selection and will work with you well!.....the problem lies with my experience as a person who doesnt own a 10,000 dollar bike. I walked into here with my project bike and was told it was unsafe and the mechanic wouldnt work on it.... Then I took the bike to a shop in Broomfield and they ACTUALLY HELPED ME MAKE THAT BIKE SAFE.Its weird because Full Cycle is pretty chill and friendly, but there is always a little bit of passive elitism towards me when I go there, you almost cant buy midrange components or bikes because of shortages, the dainty lady who needs a road bike tube on an old commuter bike gets treated with welcomed open arms and then Im just dunked on with (admittedly polite and nice) news that I didnt spend enough on my mountain bike. I honestly go to this shop out of convenience, but I have super mixed feelings about it

We started out and I was in the back of the pack and with me was staff member Ryan Ignatz. Operating a business during COVID is difficult but Full Cycle has been nothing but a disappointment the times I have visited in-store, on-line or over the phone in the last month. If I didnt have a gift card I would have given up. Between gloves, shorts and shoes, the most they had of any product was one size in stock over the several choices displayed. After visiting the store several times hoping they got some inventory in, I thought I would try ordering online. With no option to use my gift card, I had to call the shop. After several days of trying to get through to a human, I finally was successful. I was put on hold (actually not for very long) but when the person came back I was told he was too busy to help me at that time. As I protested that I was a customer and he picked up thephone, I was then given a list of reasons (excuses) of why I could not be helped and a time it would be convenient for him to help me. So if anyone wants a gift card for pennies on the dollar, let me know. Disappointed that they have my daughters money already as I would love to spend that money at other Bike shops in the area.

I stopped in on a Sunday (February 2020) to test ride a couple of different road models to compare to a used bicycle I was considering from a different shop. Ross was knowledgeable and really patient, helping answer questions and make adjustments on a few different Liv frames for me to try. I felt confident that they had several bicycles that were options for me at the price point I wanted, and with a recommendation for a consultation with their fitter. I was back on Tuesday to confirm a frame size for both bikes. I followed up with a computerized fitting, and Stephanie spent a lot of time with me on a comprehensive evaluation to understand my goals, riding style, and previous injuries. She has extensive anatomy and physiology knowledge and was insightful and just so easy to work with to dial everything in. I found exactly what I was looking for in a bike shop, and I can say theyll be getting more of my business. Thanks to Ross, Jamie, and Stephanie for the great experience!

I was very disappointed in their communication and time management. At the beginning they said that they would need about a week. They delayed the repair several times without notifying me. It ended up being 11 days which is quite a long time for minor repairs and a check up.The second time I had to call because they hadnt, I asked them to communicate better. I rely on my bike on a daily basis and I need to plan ahead if I cannot use it. They told me that they were short on staff. If we are talking about not calling once and delaying the repair by a day or two, I understand and respect that. But they didnt call and delayed the repair 4 times. They did not give me a chance to plan ahead or to pick a different bike shop that would have done the repair quicker. Did anyone notice the delay and apologize? - No.Why dont they work with appointments so that I can bring my bike the day it is actually worked on? And why dont they call? Its a matter of 30 seconds. Two stars because from what I can see so far, the bike is running well now.

Apologies for not spending $1K+ on a bike to cruise around the harsh environments of the city of Boulder.Wont be back. Hopefully they hire some people that can get past the fact that some people arent compelled to spend tons on a bike to putz around town on and are happy that people are paying for service in their shop.Only reason I had my bike professionally assembled was for warranty coverage. The guys in their service shop are super nice and knowledgeable but have trouble committing to their timelines and staying organized.I rented a bike from Full Cycle for a triathlon two summers ago and when I came in to pick up my rental they had over-rented their stock and were out of inventory. A little stressful to be told “there are no bikes left”, but they ended up pulling one off the sale shelf and let me use it as a rental. So we were good.I took my road bike in for a service a little later. I was told I’d receive a call once it was complete, but a phone call never came and two weeks later I dialed in to find out it had been finished for about a week.Last week, I took my mountain bike in for a service. I made it clear I had a race in 10 days and needed the bike back by Thursday (over a week from when I turned it in). The tech said no problem, that it was likely it would be complete Tuesday or Wednesday, but definitely Thursday. Thursday rolled around and I hadn’t received a call, so I dialed in an hour before close and they told me it would be done within the hour—standby. Never heard anything. Called again the next morning (Friday) and was told to come in at 1:30. If you’ve read this far the next part will not surprise you: I came in at 1:30 and the bike still was not ready. The Full Cycle service department is like that friend who keeps saying they’ll be there in 5 minutes so you wait and now an hour has gone by your damn French fries are cold and soggy with ketchup.

I told him I was trying to dial in the fit and feel of the new bike and he told me if the components didnt work it would be no problem to come back and return them or swap them out. So I put on the new components myself, tested them out for a few days and they just werent right at all. Today I took them back and a guy who I havent interacted with was at the register. When I told him I wanted to return the items he aggressively told me that he had no desire to stock these at all and essentially made me feel stupid for returning them, even though a couple employees previously (and kindly) told me that wouldnt be a problem. Im just starting to get into bikes and doing my own minor work. I was very grateful for their help ordering. I was planning on getting a few other things while I was there returning the items, but I left feeling embarrassed. I want to like this shop, Ive had some great service, the cafe and bar is awesome, etc. I get it, its August and its a bike shop. I work in customer service, its crazy right now. I dont leave reviews. I honestly dont care enough to, usually. But this experience really left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope everyone else has good experiences here. Today left me feeling defeated.

Its nice that they have a bar in all... but did they have to eliminate half their stock to put it in? I feel like there is almost no point to go here unless you want work done on your bike for a premium price. Or rentals, they have good options for mountain biking. But I do not like the floor selection. Any models I asked about to try they said they had to ship it in.EDIT: Im inquiring about Kona. You guys are the only kona dealer in town and carry NONE in the shop.

Full Cycle is the place to go for top-notch service. I purchased a new racing road bike from them and just had it custom fit today. The fit specialist went out of his way to adjust everything including aerobars during the free fit session. I had a slight issue with the rear derailleur alignment and the techs were fast to fix it and super friendly. I highly recommend Full Cycle!

Love these guys!! Every time I have gone in I have had great service. Recently bought a new bike and Steve was really helpful every step of the way. Love that they are honest about quality of bikes and work with you instead of pressuring you - they dont just try to sell you a stupid expensive bike and push you out the door.

6 stars if I could. Thats how great the service and staff is here. Really not sure why this shop has 3 dollar signs. I came in with a wacked rear derailleur, shop took care of me with a smile and free adjustment. (I did not buy the bike here) Even spent the time to talk bikes at the end of the day(6:55pm) nearing closing time. Being new to Boulder Im glad I have found a shop I trust. And beer.

Rented bikes here for the hygiene loop today. These guys got us out on the road quickly. Friendly and knowledgeable. And good coffee at the on-site coffee bar.

Not too long ago after multiple weeks of test riding what felt like every 29er in Boulder I found the Giant Anthem in your Boulder Shop. I have to say I was treated very well and am very happy with my new ride (very happy, I love it). So much that I am finding it hard to set up a time to bring it in for its initial tune up. ( I just don’t want to be away from it for more than a day!)Anyways, I’m super happy, I will pass on the recommendation to my friends and just want to say keep it up.I wish more stores still treated folks as you do. Down to earth, no ego, just good people, who love biking and getting people what they need.
