I worked with Victor at the 28th Street store in Boulder and received excellent service! He said he’s been with Mattress Firm for about 6yrs and it showed. He was very busy when I arrived but he was able to provide thorough information on the type of mattresses I was looking for while multitasking. His attention never wavered and he was kind, professional and attentive to everyone who walked in the door. I left within :25 minutes with exactly what I needed and more. Victor also carried all three mattresses to my vehicle. This was a very positive experience of which I appreciate.

I came in looking to test run some mattresses, not to buy. Victor was warm, friendly and asked what I needed. I have scoliosis which causes me some issues, and my soft pillow topper mattress that I pulled out of storage was wrecking my back. Victor showed me all the firm beds, we talked about prices, went over different bases, and the specials the store was offering over President’s Day weekend. It was a great experience. He was attentive but not pushy, and understood this was an unexpected purchase for me. It was really nice to feel that he was giving me 5 star attention with no pressure to purchase that day. I was between two mattresses and chose the Purple 2, with the reassurance that I could switch to the other over the next 4 months if I wanted to switch. The 600 adjustable base was $500 dollars off, and I ultimately decided to add that to my purchase, mainly due to the time I was allowed to spend hopping between my choice of beds. The entire experience was seamless and pleasant, and I feel very confident if I have a concern or issue Victor will go out of his way to make sure I’m taken care of. If customer service is important to you, it would be worth a few extra minutes in the car to shop at this store with Victor.

Do not go to this place for a mattress in Boulder. I paid $4500 for a tempurpedic soft mattress and base. I did buy a floor model, which I understand should be non refundable, but I was sure I heard the salesperson, Victor (who reads like a used car salesman on a lot you dont want to go to) say that I could exchange for another if I didnt like it as clearly and loudly advertised by Mattress Firm. After a week of using the mattress my wife and I found that we both gravitated towards the middle and ended up on top of each other. Good not sleeping, but not so good sleeping. In addition, the reason I got a Tempurpedic was because I bought into how good it was supposed to make a side sleeper with back problems feel. I found that it actually made my back challenges worse. I went to the store and told Victor my problem and asked for another mattress to try. I would not mind paying the difference. He said that its unfortunate but theres nothing to do about it. Its written clearly on the receipt that theres no exchanges or refunds on floor models. I didnt read the fine print and I take responsibility for that. I just thought a good company would want to make right a situation where a customer who paid $4K for something was satisfied, especially using their product 8 hours nightly. But they did not. So I would not recommend this store and certainly not Victor. Now Im stuck with a mattress that we have difficulty sleeping on. I will need to take the loss and buy another.

Walked in, older gentleman blackish hair, greying, sales rep laying on a mattress. Next lazily acknowledges presence. Prepared to buy a new mattress I try to initiate sale by asking questions and telling him how I sleep, unsure of softness ratings, telling him size needs, asking about type for back issues. As I am unsure of what I would need, so seeking recommendations. Yup........thats uh... uh... big choice. *stares blankly at mattresses around him* proceeds to do nothing in engaging in me, nothing in discussing sleep needs, nothing in what is in stock, nothing in what is even around him as he barely makes eye contact and does nothing to sell or help.It would probably be better to put people on the floor who care about performing their duties, engaging with customers, and actually selling merchandise.

As COVID has restricted many functions of our daily lives, not to mention how businesses operate, I found myself in an extremely challenging situation attempting to get a hold of anyone in re to a very late web order. Alison corrected this by challenging the web order and helped me find a better mattress with pillows (the best Ive ever had!) and a adjustable bed frame - a far better setup than I had the opportunity to select from online! Alison even hand delivered the mattress to my apartment the very next day! Although the mattress I had ordered online eventually showed up, Victor made it a seamless process to turn it. My experience with Mattress Firm was pretty disappointing. I picked out a couple of nice pillows and was really excited for them as a Christmas gift. I ordered them and paid in full on Saturday December 12th. I asked to have them shipped to the store so I could pick them up and disguise them before Christmas, and was told they’d arrive on Tuesday the 15th or Thursday the 17th at latest.When I hadn’t heard anything by that Thursday I called the store and reached Dietrich. I found out that the pillows hadn’t been shipped yet, but also that my email address has been entered incorrectly. We got that fixed, and I figured I’d receive the delivery notification soon.On Saturday the 19th I was nearby so went back into the store just to check, as I’d not received any email still. Then, Dietrich told me the manufacturer had to make the pillows to order! What?! How could Victor have expected them to be ready in three days? And why wasn’t I informed of that when I ordered them? I waited until today, Wednesday December 23rd, and then cancelled my order.Victor and Dietrich were both very nice, and I’m grateful that Mattress Firm was willing to refund my money. The receipt clearly said no returns, so I was worried, but they said they’ll do it and it should only take a few days.Still, what I really wanted was those pillows.
