I signed up for the &15 off my first order and the code disappeared after I signed up and when I tried to retrieve it, I was informed that I had already signed up. My cart was loaded and all my items disappeared! So, I ended up with nothing ! I tried to contact customer service through e.mail to no avail. All of my info was correct but it refused to send!

Was really unhappy with my shopping experience today. Its not a very good sales tactic to tell people theyre cooking wrong. Im not one of your students, Im not in your cooking class. You dont know my level of skill or practice in the kitchen. You arent eating at my house. All youre doing is talking down to me and coming off as pompous.Im sure the products I bought were fine, but this was bad enough of a customer experience Im not coming back to this location. Quite trying to make people feel inferior just to promote your cooking classes.

Attended the Mediterranean tapas class at Sur La Table and cooked roasted cauliflower, a few sauces, lamb meatballs and shrimp skewers. Class size was small and enjoyable. Knowledgeable instructor and enjoyed the overall experience. ~2.5 hour class

If I wanted to spend $30 on a small sieve, I would first buy one for $15 and burn the other half. Also, their inventory, overall, is very limited

I love shopping here because customer service is so friendly and knowledgeable. I always find unique items and ingredients. Every rep has been super helpful and top notch. We made a specialty cake for my sons birthday and they answered all our questions. Then we went back to find a kitchen torch for a baked Alaska. They also carry the soda stream refills. They let us know about different class options for our larger family and Im excited to try one. I would highly recommend this store and will continue to visit as I always have great experiences and I find the speciality items I need.

In June of 2018, I bought a very large set of Francesca dishes at Sur la Table, on-line and at our local store, for over $700. The dishes began to chip immediately and then recently the glaze has begun to crack. I love these dishes and was really hoping they would hold up, but they have continued to deteriorate. In the meantime, Sur la Table discontinued the pattern -- well, I can guess why -- the dishes are defective!I inherited a beautiful set of heavily-used, everyday dishes from my grandmother -- they must be 60 or 70 years old -- and they are in beautiful condition. NICE DISHES SHOULD HOLD UP MORE THAN ONE YEAR!!! I emailed Sur la Table yesterday and they said they have a 60-day return policy and that after that I have to go through the manufacturer. Well, Sur la Table, WHO is the manufacturer??? The dish has Handcrafted in Italy for Sur la Table stamped on the back. Then Zachary in their customer service lied to me outright and said they dont have any way to pull up my order. So I went to their website and pulled up my purchasing history. He was very rude and is the antithesis of someone who should be in customer service. Watch out for Sur la Table! Dont spend your money there!Stand by for further developments...

We had such a blast at our class! Michael was our chef for the evening and he was very knowledgeable about the recipe we were cooking and overall. He gave us awesome cooking tips as well. The food we made tasted awesome and now we have a great new recipe to add to our dinner rotations. We would definitely recommend a class here!

Had the pleasure of standing at the counter in back with the knives. Waiting for the gentleman who worked there to finish up with the lady who came in front of me to ask about carving boards. I was standing right next to her for a good 5-10 minutes. Did I mention RIGHT next to her at this very small counter(stated so there is no confusion, he saw me. No way he did not see me). As they are ending their conversation and I get already for my turn, a man walks up with some knives. He barges forward and the gentleman working there answers his query on whether they can get knives sharpened there. No biggie. Now time to turn his attention to the next in line. No. He then proceeded to help this gentleman who just walked up. Because..well he IS a MAN and HIS time is more important. I threw up my hands and walked out. Only when he knew I was upset did he bother to say anything to me. At this point, I headed to Peppercorn. They answered my questions and showed me the item I needed to purchase.

I went for a cooking class with Chef today and was surprised to learn that the Chef was a first-year culinary student at a local college. Needless to say, I did not pay a significant amount of money to learn from a first-year culinary student. His lack of experience showed.Additionally, there are many online photos of patrons with wine glasses cooking food during the cooking classes. I brought wine thinking that my girlfriend and I could do the same. However, I was not permitted to drink wine during my class because the store apparently does not have a liquor license. In the end, I felt deceived by Sur La Table. I was really looking forward to the cooking class. Now I wish I had never paid for it.

Had a great experience in the store today. The store is bright and appealing, the selection is amazing and well displayed, and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. I will be back, thats for sure. I thought that the prices were reasonable for what they have, which is very high quality kitchenware.

Extremely disappointed with our experience at Boulder Sur La Table tonight. The class we attended was Paris Bistro Date Night with two other couples. We were immediately divided into two teams meaning one couple was split up. We all spoke up and said we would like to work with our partner since its a date night class and the instructor said she only had set up two stations and glazed over our complaint. The instructor did a demo with our ingredients so we barely got to do anything cooking or prepping wise. The steaks and potatoes were already prepped and cooked by the instructor so we werent even able to cook anything. We made an aoili and prepped a salad. Cant believe we paid $170 for such a poor experience.

Cool stuff and interesting classes but good grief, they need a lesson in e-mail marketing. DO NOT sign up to be on their e-mail list unless you want a minimum of 2 emails a day...in the past 3 days I have 6 emails from them. Ive requested to receive e-mails once a week twice now to no avail. Now opting out...too bad.

As a store, it’s very nice. For cooking ‘classes’ it’s an embarrassment. We went with a group of 5 other couples for a valentine’s themed taste of Paris COOKING CLASS, with each paying $170. The menu was chicken, salad, mashed potatoes and creme brûlée. On the positive side the food was very good. On the other side: the instructor was uninspiring, rude and obviously didn’t want to be there. The quantity of food was absurd. For example a small bowl of salad (enough for 1-2 in a restaurant) was shared by 4. The first thing we said after leaving was “who wants to stop for a burger on the way home?” The place was filthy. I was appalled by the blanket of inch think dusk on the air return vents over the stove. As for teaching the level was more appropriate for teenagers...that had never held a knife. We each cut an onion!!! Then we browned butter, made a simple vibegrette, cooked chicken and finally used a blow torch to brûlée the custard. That’s it. All but the brûlée and the aformentioned onion were done in groups of four, which meant you didn’t really do anything other than stand around. The rest was done by the instructor and someone else. They cooked the potatoes, made the custard, etc. the entire thing seemed more designed to get you to shop for their overpriced products rather than to actually teach, let you practice and certainly allow you to eat anything.

Love the cooking classes, but I feel they need to address a few issues. One, they should tell people not to lick fingers, and wash hands when in a group that is making food. Yes, it should be common sense but Ive taken a few classes, and people are gross, and contaminate the food.Second, I dont feel like you walk away with enough food because you pay per person, but you have to share with 4 other people. So, there is not alot of take home items that you make because you have to split it 4 ways. They dont tell you that when they sign up.

Extremely poor experience, we barely did the cooking, the chefwas least interested in the class himself and didnt try to teach us anything. It seemed like he was talking to himself and assumed that he doe not need to share any information.A complete waste of $70. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!

We had such a great time in our cooking class at Sur La Table. I attended the cooking class with the Board of Directors from the REALTOR Association. Annually we pick an activity that will be fun and team building. This year it was Sur La Table and the effect was perfect! The chef in charge, Skylar, had so much personality and really wanted us to learn about our dishes. She kept us on track and taught us all new tricks. For example, I didnt know that you are suppose to pinch the knife with your thumb and pointer on the blade then grab the handle with your back four fingers. That is the proper technique in order to have complete control over the knife. We also learned about Spanish paprika, pimenton, which comes either sweet or spicy. The favorite item for me that we made were bacon wrapped dates. What I liked is that we stuffed them with blue cheese and a marcona almond! they were the perfect balance of sweet and savory. They had everything ready and laid out for our group to arrive. The utensils and ingredients were well organized and the kitchen itself was spotless, too. The storefront was stock full of every cooking item that you could imagine. Overall, a great experience!
