Worst service Ive ever encountered. My check engine light started flashing and engine power began cutting out, a local mechanic scanned and the code reader gave a known issue with my year vehicles engines, that could mean it needs a total engine replacement and needs to be serviced at the dealership. I had it towed to Boulder Hyundai, where it has sat for 3 WEEKS, where I call every week to be told they havent even looked at it to do the diagnostic on what the issue is. Every time I call they say theres nothing they can do to get it looked at, can provide no loaner vehicle, and to rent a car in the meantime and try to get reimbursed directly from Hyundai (unlikely to happen). When I asked why this known issue with my vehicles engine wasnt brought up to me when serviced there a month prior, I was told its not their responsibility. On top of all this, I paid several hundred dollars for a part during my last service that would arrive next week, yet every time I ask about it I get told no one in the parts department is answering. Utterly worst service Ive ever experienced with a dealership and will never buy a car from them, or Hyundai for that matter again.

He went above and beyond to make sure the exact car I wanted would be available for me once I was able to come down from the mountains. Todd made the final paperwork easy. The technology is very upscale and far exceeds anything else we’ve seen. A very European feel. The whole buying experience was extraordinary. Purchased a 2021 SanteFe Limited from Boulder Hyundai.Had some issues initially figuring out a particular functionality. Dustin stepped in and did whatever was required to ensure a smooth resolution though he was not the one who sold the vehicle; Here to help in the true sense.Todd, proactively explained the terms of the sale. Alec facilitated the whole process.For the buyer:Remember the five variables in the total cost (first two are most important):1. Vehicle2. Interest rate3. Accessories (lower priced alternatives may be available in the market)4. Dealer fees (some dealers charge a fixed fee)5. Tax (not a variable in the stict sense)Be sure that you have done your homework on all these. You might get a discounted price on one but with a higer price on the other variables, you might end up paying more.Also, get the vehicle in stock with a dealer. The one traded within the dealer network will be more expensive.Hyundai has the most technologically advanced vehicles and best warranties for the price. Highly recommend test driving the top engine + AWD trims of Tuscon, SantaFe, and Palisade to set a benchmark for your car shopping.

DO NOT GO HERE! The worst service imaginable. They lie and whisper behind your back! They will tell you one thing and then instantly go back on their offer in less than five minutes! I was to the point of calling 911 for how long it took me to get my car keys back! Fathers do not let your daughters go here alone! It was a very uncomfortable atmosphere! Everything that should not have happened happened here! Their manager Justin Helmick is a lying weasel and has no idea how to keep to his word. Chivalry and honor are definitely medieval and non existent in this Hell hole of a dealership. No vehicle on Earth is worth this nightmare of a place. I urge everyone to just keep looking and go to McDonald Hyundai or Hyundai of Greeley.

I rarely share reviews. I had THE most costly experience with this service department. I will save the entire story but my car is under warranty. They left me without a car for over a month. The service guy would continuously apologize because my car was simply not on his radar. I had to call and hunt them down every single day. After 8 weeks, I had to drive to SF to move from Denver and because they waited so long to service my car they didnt have time to run the warranty process and I had to pay $1.3k out of my pocket just to be able to drive the vehicle. I just got to the Bay area and within 24 HOURS this dealership in San Jose has the part ordered to be repaired, covered under warranty and giving me a rental paid for by them. The same protocol shouldve been taken by this location. It was overall an extremely and unnecessarily costly and horrific experience.

If I could give this dealership zero stars I would. This dealership is not honest and changes their story to match THEIR narrative. They don’t follow up as they promise and they just leave their customers who purchase new cars that have issues with the NEW cars hanging out in the rain.My story - I bought a brand new car from this dealership on 6/28/21. From the day I bought the car, the gps system was not working. My salesperson Toviah, told me “it takes several days for the gps system to update”. Funny, because my son and daughter each bought brand new Hyundai’s from ARAPAHOE HYUNDAI and they didn’t have any issues with their gps system requiring days to update. A week goes by, still no navigation system and still no clock displayed on my radio. I take it to Boulder Hyundai so “service” could check it out. Service never checked it out. Toviah and a plethora of other salespeople looked at it and scratched their heads unsure why my gps system that is in Boulder is showing maps for Detroit. The only conclusion they could come to was that it must be an “outdated sd card”. Bob, the manager, told me he ordered me a new sd card that day. He told me it would arrive on 7/15 and he would personally drive it to my house. 7/15 came and went. Bob did not drive the sd card to my house nor did he contact me with a status. On 7/19, I reached out to Toviah. He told me “I showed you on the computer the sd cards were out of stock until 7/17. That was a lie. He never showed me anything on the computer and he never said the cards were out of stock. On 7/19, Toviah told me he was going to the dealership at 12 and he would work on it once he was at the dealership. Today is 7/29. 10 days AFTER I was told the issue would be worked on. No follow up from Toviah. No call backs from Boulder Hyundai and a full month later, my navigation system still isn’t working and my clock is not displayed. Now, I’m told this dealership has been sold and going under new management effective today (7/29). This tells me I will never get this issue resolved because no one there knows how to follow up on the promises they make to their customers. I’m extremely disappointed in the lack of follow through and the blatant lies the manager and salesperson have told me.My advice to you, make sure EVERYTHING is working as it should BEFORE you drive your BRAND NEW car off of this dealership’s lot. If you don’t, you’ll never get your issue resolved.

Brought my car in for service the other day for routine maintenance and asked them to check my brakes because they felt weird. They called me later to say my tires weren’t worn enough to rotate (isn’t that why we rotate? To prevent uneven wear). They said my brake pads looked fine but didn’t bother to check further, not even a test drive so that didn’t get fixed either. They failed to reset the maintenance light and upon further inspection they also did not change my air filter. I sent an email with my concerns and got a quick call back asking if I was interested in buying a car but when I asked for a manager I was sent to voicemail. A total waste of time and I will not be going there again. They use to be great but that was years ago. They obviously just don’t care at this point.

Avoid servicing your car here at all costs. I leased my vehicle here over 2 years ago, and following a couple of hiccups regarding me having to bring my car in every 30 days because they forgot to reset the service engine light, they finally outdid themselves in May. I took my car in to remove winter tires at the end of May. They put them in plastic bags and told me everything was in order. This week I took the vehicle in (to a different dealership) to put the snow tires in. Turns out there was bead damage on a rear tire. I called Boulder Hyundai, and the first thing I was told was that it was probably the new dealer damaging it when they tried to mount the tire... this is untrue because I was present when they removed the bag from the tire and saw the damage. After 2 days of not returning my calls, I finally got a hold of them. Unfortunately, because they are under new ownership, they will not own up to their incompetence and provide me with a new tire. Mind you, the same service manager that was present back in May is still in charge today. Congratulations! You lost a customer over 1 tire. It really shows a lot about what you think of your customers, and their satisfaction & retention.EDIT: Reply to their reply - Tyler, the service manager said she ran this by the general manager, i.e. YOU, and it was YOU who said the dealership could not honor the damaged tire... so you are clearly just replying to my review to show some good character over the internet in an attempt to salvage yet another bad review, or the service manager clearly didnt communicate this with you. I dont know which scenario is worse. If youd really like to remedy this situation, I can send you the receipt I got today for the new tire along with installation...

A terrible showcase of honesty at this location, backed by poor communication on part of the mechanics and the costumer. My experience at the service center is as follows: I came to the location with a 2005 Kia Sedona that was having difficulty accelerating, idling, as well as stuttering at low speeds. The vehicle would also not turn over when cranking the ignition after extended periods in a parked state. After looking at other repair shops around my area, I came across Boulder Hyundai and decided to give them a call to have my car pulled into the shop. They will take super good care of you! Was a line I clearly remember from a staff member on the front lot, however, this was proved wrong in the following days. I was given a loaner vehicle, a 2020 Hyundai Venue while my personal vehicle was being diagnosed; which took a few days when compared to other service centers Ive been to who only take a few hours (let alone thirty minutes) to diagnose and price a repair. After the diagnosis, I was told that I had a spark plug misfire, which made sense as I hadnt replaced my spark plugs in quite a while, as a valve cover gasket issue that needed to be repaired. A few more days went by, with my car in the shop; and I was still using the loaner vehicle, and I get a call that my vehicle was ready for pickup. Before arriving at the service center, I had to wash and vacuum the loaner vehicle to meet the requirements of bringing the car back in its original condition. When I arrived at the service center, I saw my minivan parked, looking shiny and polished (hinting that the vehicle was washed before delivery) however, after payment of over $1,000 was made at the front desk, and handing over the loaner keys, I got into my car anticipating to drive away. This did not happen, instead, the car stuttered for a few seconds and died right in front of the mechanics garage. Keep in mind, this was the exact reason why I brought the vehicle to the repair center in the first place. Granted it was New Years Eve of 2020, and the facility was going to close in twenty minutes, I was placed in the loaner car again. I waited until January 2, 2021, for an explanation from the mechanics who wanted to do a thorough diagnostic of the vehicle with proclaimed experts. A few more days go by, and I get a call from the shop stating that my vehicle needed to have a throttle body assembly replaced (and still does), which seems highly likely to me as my car is showing all the necessary signs of a damaged throttle body assembly. I was then placed between the decision to go ahead with the repair (which was going to cost well over $1,000) or take my vehicle to another repair shop. I then told the mechanic that this repair should have been dealt with first, before the $1,000 repair on the valve cover gasket, and the spark plugs. I was then given an answer that stated that We are very certain that this issue will be fixed with a new throttle body assembly never, however directly addressing the question in the first place. This led me to search the average cost of a throttle body repair, in which the new assembly would cost $485 (without labor and fees), and when I searched online for a brand-new 2005 Kia Sedona throttle body assembly, the retail price was around $100 with free shipping; indicating that I was overpaying at the dealership. The end result of this led me to return the Hyundai Venue (washed, vacuumed, as well as with a full tank of gasoline as within the original condition of acquirement. I just drove the car back from the dealership and when I opened the hood, my engine cover was loosely put together with most screws missing. So I spent $1000 (and more in the past with previous issues with alternates, and belts, etc.) just to have my car with a broken engine cover, missing screws, moderately washed, and still show signs of a bad idle. This was the last occasion I will be bringing my vehicle to this location, let alone buy another Hyundai or Kia. Missing screws on the engine cover shown in images:

100% the worst experience I’ve ever had with a service department. I dropped off my car for a basic diagnostic and no one communicated with me for 3 days/answered my messages! Granted they had a tech walk out on them without notice but the LEAST they could do is let me know so I can decide if I want to pick up my car sooner. I had to call the manager to get someone to call me from the service department. Just beyond unprofessional.

I purchased a used vehicle in March, 2021. When my title paperwork came in the mail, I went to motor vehicles to get a title and license plate, I was informed that the title they sent from the previous owner was not signed correctly. There are two places for the owner to sign, one verifying the odometer reading and the other indicating that they no longer have an interest in the car. They only had the odometer portion signed. I spoke to Anne, who processes the title paperwork at the dealership, and advised her of the situation and told her how annoyed I was that they were so Incompetent as do not know how to deal with the title transfer. Not only did the salesman who dealt dealt with the previous owner not know how to have a customer sign the title, but no one in the titling department knew how to look at it and see if it was correct before mailing it to me. I cannot imagine the dealership could be this inept, unprofessional and negligent. the response I got from Anne was “OK “. Not that it really matters, but at no point did she apologize for this appalling error or my horrible waste of time and now having to go sit at motor vehicles again. Additionally, I reviewed the rest of the paperwork when I get home, and found another error on one of the forms they sent. My husband and I both signed forms regarding our identification and drivers license numbers, and by the time they filled them out and sent them back with the other paperwork, they’d managed to have my husband signature on both, including the form that had my name, birthdate and drivers license number on it. So, yet another negligent, lazy error on their part. They have a department dedicated to just processing paperwork they made two errors on mine, how often do they actually do it correctly? Clearly, once they have your money, they could not have less interest or concern for the customer.

Ive never written a negative review before but after replaying in my head what had happened 2 days prior I think a review is fair so here we go.After seeing an ad at this location figured Ill check them out. Big MistakeFirst lie is it shows New Car and in one of the pictures it shows 11 miles on the odometer. I show up for a test drive and the car has 4 scratches on the paint, 1000 miles on it, a baby seat in the back, crumbs around around the baby seat, and cobwebs connecting from the glove box to passenger seat- clearly someone who works there and has a baby had been using it for personal use. When I insinuated these couple of issues doesnt make this a new car the Sales Manager responded with a condescending look followed with and I quote that is new (cant remember his name but Ill never forget his face). Shady start to a deal but I think to myself maybe I can still work with them. Second lie was while test driving with Tovi I mentioned to him I have already secured a loan through my bank and which he proceeded to tell me we still have to do a credit check even if you have a loan already. A quick google search explains why thats not true. Clearly he wanted me to finance through him so he could make a little extra. I could keep going on with the bad practices here but this review is already too long (sorry readers). Rather than insult them like they did my intelligence Im just stating facts so that future potential buyers can see how you guys do business and Id like to thank them for showing me some of the red flags to look for while shopping for a car. I just need to wait in this store for 2 hours because of the mistake from who works here. I definitely heard Wednesday 2PM and when I were here, someone put my name on the appointment in the morning. Because of that person I just need to wait here until 4 and made my rest of the day so busy. Even though it is not my fault I am still waiting here watching my car left to get started after 30 minutes. Please double or triple check your appointment time before you come in if you dont want to wait additional hour with no other effort from them trying to finish it earlier. Good luck.

Went in on a Saturday afternoon at the end of the month and was able to get a test drive, an offer, and buy a car in about 3 hours. It was great!Ryan was incredibly helpful; he listened to what I wanted and worked with the owner to get the car down to a price I could afford. He didnt pressure me at all. The finance guy actually listened when I said no to certain add ons and didnt try to change my mind or pressure me into an extended warranty or other stuff.When I arrived to pick up the car, it wasnt quite ready and needed a bit more detailing. Ryan jumped on it and made sure it was ready for me to take. I really enjoyed the atmosphere there compared to a few other dealerships Ive been to recently. It was more personable and laid back.I do wish they had some Hyundai merchandise I could take home, like a travel mug or keychain. That is one thing I think Subaru dealerships get right. Let me rep Boulder Hyundai on a coffee mug for you!

I needed to have two minor recall issues taken care of, and the first dealer I called couldnt get me in for almost 4 weeks. I called Boulder Hyundai and not only did they have the parts in stock, I could bring my car in in an hour! They made it so easy, they were all pleasant and polite, and they even washed my car.

Scheduled service after receiving a recall notice. Showed up for my appt to be told they didnt have the part for my scheduled recall work. I scheduled my appt two weeks in advance. After finding out i was going to have to make a new appt, I asked them to check my lights. They checked them, gave me a quote and on my way home my car is rumbling because they didnt properly fasten the cover. Have had good service there in the past but after that sh×t show im open to other service locations.

Nobody at this dealership will actually call you with any updates about servicing your car even though they promise every single time you have to call them to ask for updates. My engine needed replacement and they said it should automatically send the report to Hyundai so that they can get started on the process. One week later, I never got that call that they promised theyd make two days after running initial diagnostics on my car... So I called them to see if Id missed any phone calls from them. Not only did I not miss any phone calls, they let my car sit wherever they have it for a full week without checking on what needs to be done with it- my phone call prompted them to check on my cars status and ONLY THEN (a week after bringing it in and them doing initial diagnostics to find out that my engine needed replacement) did anybody at the dealership realise that the supposedly automatic report to Hyundai was never sent in so basically we were still at the same starting block as the week before when I initially brought my car in. Now were approaching two weeks of them having my car and Ive had to call at least three more times since then to get any information about my car. Each call reveals that they just keep forgetting about my car until I call them about it.This is not just an inconvenience: in this summer weather, being a disabled service dog handler, having access to a car is necessary for my independence. It is beyond frustrating that I have to keep calling to get anybody to look at my car.(17 June 2021 update) my car has been in there since June 1st. I called yesterday, the 16th, for more updates because I was told over the past weekend that they would have all the parts located and they would contact me with updates this week. When I called, the person told me theyd call me back before end of day to give me an official update. Nobody called me back yesterday. I guess how I have to drive my partners car up to Boulder to speak with somebody in person about this horrifically incompetent consumer-facing service team. This is exactly why I have no intention of advertising your shitty dealership with a license plate cover: Im paying full price and yall still cant perform the most basic tasks for me & my car, including double checking in the first week of having my car to see why nobodys done anything with it for seven days. We are now fast approaching three weeks that my car has been sitting up there, completely useless.(24 July 2021 update) on the fifteenth of July, Alan is on record telling me that there are three cars ahead of me, and it should take a day, day and a half to finish each of those three cars in front of me and they should get started on my car by 22 or 26 July 2021. On the 22nd of July, again nobody called to update me like they had promised on record, so I called on the 23rd to confirm the timeline most recently given on the 15th. Now, the timeline is *yet another month* from 22 July 2021 before they get started on my car, making it a minimum of three full months that this lying dealership has sat on my car. This is absurd.(2 September 2021) I still dont have my car back. On 19 August 2021, James left a voicemail that my car was going into the bay soon and should be ready by 25 or 27 or August. He also said in his voicemail that he would update me as they progressed. I had to call them myself today to see what was going on because Ive had no updates since the 19th. Apparently the parts manufacturer mislabelled some parts and they should be getting the correct ones tomorrow, 3 September 2021. Since tomorrow is a Friday, they likely wont be finished with my car until mid-to-late next week, 8 or 10 September. They will have had my car for nearly three & a half months. Well see if I get my car back before 2022... All i know is that they have the most unreliable service staff who cant even coordinate their lies and consistently promise basic customer service that they never deliver. Ive never had such a hellish dealership experience as this.

It took two days of relentless effort on his part, but I was able to trade in my 2016 car and got into a 2020 Kona! The whole sales team are like a family, and they strive to get the best deal for you. Not money hungry, and the sales guys arent pushy. I had an amazing experience with Hyundai and Tyler, a salesperson, in particular. I went in looking for a Ford Fusion and found the perfect one. Tyler was eager to help and immediately got me the keys so that we could go on a test drive. I decided to buy the car and everyone at the dealership made it an amazing experience that went very smoothly. I left a very happy customer. Just bought a Tuscon from Boulder Hyundai and love it! Worked all the details out with Damon (who was great to work with) via text and email. They delivered the car to me, signed a few papers and it was seamlessly done. Cant beat the price, value and warrenty of these cars.. My favorite feature that i didnt even know about is that i can remotely start, lock or unlock my car from an app on my phone!

Wont honor Americas best warranty if your shark fin antenna cover falls off on the highway. Also, 2017 Hyundai Sonata trunk latch failed so my car trunk wont stay closed. Hyundai has kept me waiting nearly 2 months and they still havent fixed my car that is under factory warranty. So much for supporting front line workers.

Bernard Quisumbing, the Internet Sales Director at Boulder Hyundai was fabulous! I was able to purchase a car (from Guam), for my son who is living in CO, without any problems. And, because of the time difference most our communicating was done via text/email messages. I was given a great deal, although I still think Bernard could have thrown in car mats and tinting! lol He did, however, find me a great place for tinting the car with a fair price. Service department is hands down the best! They go above and beyond when necessary for their customers! They explained our repairs to us, so we actually understood what was going on (I am not very knowledgeable about cars). Submitted to goodwill through hyundai to get coverage for my repairs that were just outside of the warranty period. Really just did a great job! Oh side note for these times, they had masks on and disinfected my vehicle for me too!

I have such regrets after purchasing my car from this dealership. Was really pushed into using Hyundai motor financing when we purchased the vehicle at this dealership. There were some issues when we purchased the vehicle but we decided to overlook these and at first were happy with our purchase. Hyundai has been nothing short of a nightmare to deal with since purchasing the car. Be very aware that the dealership will do it’s best to put on a good front at the time you purchase, told me nothing but great things about financing through Hyundai but will not help you after you purchase the vehicle and I feel were not honest about hyundai motor financing. I have been trying for 8 weeks to get a copy of the documentation I need to get legal registration for my car. This is part of car ownership! I have upheld all of my obligations and made every single payment on time to Hyundai. I get told to fill out a different form each time I call, assured the document will arrive within days only for > a week to go by with nothing. I have spent over 8 hours on the phone (8 calls, > 1 hour each) extended hold times to get nowhere. I finally called this dealership again today asking if they can offer me any help or other numbers to call because I am just beside myself with frustration at this situation. My husband bought a different car and was sent the documentation he needed within one hour of his first request!! I have moved out of state and the fees for driving with an unregistered vehicle are $1,529 and your car can be impounded. I explained to this dealership as I have to Hyundai motor finance many times and I am afraid to drive my car. I talked to Todd in finance today and could not believe how unprofessional he was. He told me to “be more jovial” when I called as if a customer calling for the 8th time is going to be really happy asking for yet again the same documentation. Todd was really unhelpful and when I asked for his name he said “why are you being like that?” then said really unprofessionally “It’s the same name I gave you earlier”. He escalated in anger after I asked for his name and told me he was going to end the call and then hung up. Funny, the finance people were so nice at the time I purchased the car…..be aware this dealership is not going to help you with any issues after you purchase the car. I can’t recommend more strongly not financing through Hyundai. I can only imagine the frustration, headaches and heartbreak a person must go through when there is a more serious problem with a Hyundai they have purchased. I am so disappointed with Hyundai, this has made me want to sell this car asap and never purchase another Hyundai.
