Kind of expensive cost a dollar more for fence boards over home Depot when theyre 16 boards and an 8-ft section that adds up pretty quick but the staff was fast and courteous

Miker from Parr is absolutely awesome to work with. If he misses a call, its likely because he is on the other line, and he sure gets back to you quick! This is half the battle when planning a project or work in process, as you often need quick results to keep the job going smoothly. If you want results, find Miker at Parr! The rest of the team (Alison, Jose, etc) are great as well - all super fast to act!

So far-so good. Miker was responsive in getting bid back timely (unlike others), respectful (unlike yet another)--and even--dare I say--HELPFUL. We are mid point at this time..hope it finishes as well as it started. Amended- started out great- watch out once they get your credit card... their lumber package estimate ended up being off by $7000. And I spent thousands more going to Dunn Lumber, etc. to supplement their short falls and mistakes. Explanation given was that their estimator was new and no longer works there. I still got left holding the bag though. Had to call a different Parr Lumber store manager store to get a finalized credit done. Cut relationship short when I found their Hardiplank siding bid of $17,000 will cost me $5500 elsewhere.

My wife and I recently met Paul at Parr Lumber while there to get advice about replacing a deck at our home. He was extremely helpful and went out of his way to help us. He patiently went over all options, offered great suggestions about how to install and what products to use to make things go smoothly. I did price checking at four other places (two big box chain stores and two other local deck lumber stores). Parr Lumber was the lowest of all of them and offered free delivery. While that is good, it really comes down to service and the help you can get from a professional like Paul that makes the difference. It made our decision easy as to who to go with! Thanks Paul for your help and advice (and patience ... you treated us like your first customer, not your 1,000th!).

Weve used Parr a few times now and every time Im impressed with their service. Theyve definitely earned a customer for life. Between reasonable prices and great customer service and speed of delivery Parr is a win. Thanks for doing what you guys do.

Parr lumber has a great lumber yard to work with. The crew at the point of sale and in the yard has been very full filling my needs for deck replacement.

I am very disappointed at the customer service, I bought 8 pieces of plywood, we were told that any left over un use plywood we can bring back and return. I brought the unused pies back and they gave me the aditude about it and charged me 6$ restocking fee. Also I called the manager twice and no one called me back, horrible customer service. I will never go back, Home Depot or Lowes are the best stores for any needs, no comparisons.

I called and asked them if they carried 2x2x8 or 2x2x3 and they told me no. Home Depot carries it shouldnt a lumber company as big as par be able to carry that type of requested material? The Home Depot I went to was relatively scarce and hard to find which tells me theres a lot of people buying that type of lumber. Do yourself a favor and do not mess with par lumber company.

These people are very good at what they do. They are relaxed enough to make your shopping experience very pleasant. They are knowledgeable enough to make it easy

I am so very impressed by the customer service at Parr in Bothell. I needed molding that they dont have in stock and they researched it, found it and called me back. I was able to put in my order and will have it in a couple of days. Thank you!!

The Bothell store is the worst place to ask for a lumber/deck project. We bought from there due to a sale on decking material. We had to call a couple times just to get a quote. I went in on a Saturday to make the big order. The man behind the counter said Your the customer I had hoped would not come in today because I dont know how to due these orders. I was told that Brandon (office manager) was the one who put the quote together a couple days later. When the lumber package arrived, it had many 2x8 boards that were garbage as well as 4x8 beams. We had to reinforce the 4x8 beams with 2x8s which left us short in the end. We never received any 4x4s for any of the railing posts in the package. When the composite decking arrived, some was damaged as well as not receiving any Fascia boards which was requested. We never received any screws or hardware to install anything. I was told that they are very busy this time of year and mistakes happen. There was never any compensation for any trouble we went through. I paid my contractor many hours of pay because of the mistakes that Parr lumber made. They were told in the beginning what size deck and what material we wanted to use. We relied on them to give us what was needed and they fail horribly. I suggest never going to this store.

Nice people, but high prices and low quality lumber

Service is great, material is great, but the yard is so slow and understaffed in comparison to other yards. They need a ground guy during the day very badly. Will continue to give them business, but hope yard times improve soon.

Slow. Slow. 1 hour to get 28 boards of decking

I go out of my way to shop at places other than Lowes and Home Depot because I think these smaller businesses have an opportunity to distinguish themselves with their superior service. Parr in Bothell has reasonable selection but not great service. Hate to say it but Ill avoid for future projects.
